Somewhat of a Detour

Well, I wasn't expecting this. A certain Oshawott thought to herself as she leaned against a tree in the midst of Shadowhue, tossing her shell up and down. Her plan had been to see if anybody wanted to accompany her to Monochrome Ruins, but of course it couldn't be that simple, no, she had to ask a guild member who wanted to take a mission in the area as well. No use worrying about it now. Might as well just get it over with. Avaria decided, watching her scalchop go up and down as she caught it and tossed it over and over. She made sure to listen to her surroundings, wanting to know when one of the two Pokemon would finally show up, or if somebody less friendly would show up.

Huh. Don't want to hide behind items? I'd say that sounds poetic almost if it wasn't stupid as hell. When you have a chance to get ahead, why wouldn't you take it? Letting something like that slip away is wasteful, and it's a good way to get yourself hurt or killed. All of this was kept to herself, as her verbal filter decided that this was best kept to herself in the current situation. Something told her nobody would appreciate her thoughts on the matter at the moment, and that was fine by her, as long as it didn't end up affecting her.
"That's swell and all, but if I might ask, how much further are we from Monochrome?" This painstakingly bland walk through Shadowhue was becoming a pain to the Oshawott as she hid her feelings on the matter, keeping an apathetic look about her as she glanced around at the three others.

Sorren shook off his feelings and ignored the scarf for now. He listned to Avaria's Question. He remembered going this way once before to get to the ruins, and did a quick mental calculation to see where they were.

"More than halfway there, maybe two thirds of the way there? Somewhere around that." Sorren said, if he had arms he would shrug.

Sorren was enjoying the peace and quiet. He didn't get much of that any more in his life. Though he tried to ignore it, Sorren looked down at the scarf he wore. his attachment to it was strange, but he welcomed the comfort it brought him. he looked into it's blue as he would the sky and smiled.

Mienshao stayed quiet, she was enjoying the lull in activity as well.
