| Finally the last few trees were left behind the small Bug type, and the first buildings came into his field of vision. There it was - Grassveil Town. At long last, after the most dangerous of travels, the Nincada had reached the end of his journey. Here he would be able to join a guild and show his- no, the old clan, that one would be able to earn money by taking missions and still help others with it. Exhausted from the long trip, Ned slowly crawled over the flat hills surrounding the town, still looking out for potential threats from any Flying types, although he should be fairly safe, the guild in close proximity after all. "At long last...I am at home..." Would the guild be, what he expected it to be? Would it be different? And would he even get to join it right now? Only time would show... | |

| Akuroma walked through Grassveil slowly, reading one of the newer books to have come to town. The Ralts seemed so interested on the words inside that he couldn't be bothered by the fact that he was walking up behind the Nincada. At least, not until he was about to step onto the bug type. | |

| Luckily for the Bug type however, Nincada use their sense of smell to inspect their surroundings, allowing for Ned to hastily dodge the Ralts even though it was approaching from behind. Even though it was a rather frightening experience to nearly be crushed, the Ground type somehow managed to keep his composure, calling out to the Ralts after a few hasty breaths: "Heya! Could you please...well...watch out, where you are going? You could accidentally hurt yourself or someone else." | |

| Akuroma looked up from his book for a moment to see who was talking to him. "Hm? Hello?" he asked, as he usually has to look up instead of down to speak with someone. Especially since he has to tilt his head up just to see through his green helmet like hair. | |

| "Uh...I'm down here if you don't mind.", Ned attempted to help the Ralts to find his position. Due to his rather diminituive size it often occurred, that a Pokémon simply did not see him. For some reason that never seemed to apply to those pesky feral Flying types though... Anyway, the Nincada knew how easy it was to get lost in a good book, but if one's love of reading starts to endanger others, then it definitely is time to put a stop to this carelessness. Hopefully it would understand. | |

| Akuroma glanced down, and upon noticing the bug type, he jumped back, ready to fire off a confusion to blast the Nincada away due to his inherent weakness of it. "Who're you?" he asked, still holding the book, as if he were about to begin reading again. It's not normal that Akuroma get so wary around another, unless of course it was that loud mouthed Meowth in ran into a while ago, or someone he wasn't familiar with. He let his eyes glow blue a bit, as just a fair warning to the Nincada. | |

| "Me? I'm Ned the Nincada." Ned was a bit surprised by the level of aggressiveness the Ralts displayed towards him. Were the Pokémon here maybe not as friendly as he had imagined? Hopefully this would just be a misunderstanding of some sort. "I have just finished the long journey from the faraway jungles to this town. Now, may I ask for your name?" Even though his type advantage would probably allow Ned to beat this Pokémon in a fight, he didn't want to ruin his reputation in the town on his first day here. Oh, and of course he didn't want to hurt anyone. | |

| "Akuroma." He stood there silent for a few seconds before he shut the book and allowed the glow to leave his eyes. "Sorry, I tend to not like bug pokemon, for obvious reasons," the ralts said, though secretly he was enjoying the ability to look down at someone for a change, "In any case, what brings you to Grassviel? Most Pokemon come here from such a long journey for the guild, or for some type of trade." He sat down, though it looked more like a slump with how his gown covers up most of his body. | |

| "Heh, I could say the same thing about Flying types and especially Fire types to be honest. Fire is just scary.", the Nincada chuckled, slightly shuddering at the thought of fire. "Anyway, I had left the clan I was born in. They really are dishonest, despicable Pokémon. Now I hope to make a change by joining a guild instead. You wouldn't believe, how exhausting that trip has been." Innerly Ned sighed in relief. He would probably not be attacked by the Psychic type in front of him. "So, what brings you here?" | |

| Akuroma nodded at the Nincada's comment on fire. He listened closely to Ned's description of his old clan, a picture of many large, scary bug type pokemon making a cold shiver run up his spine. Thankfully Ned's question brought him back to reality. "Huh? Oh, I've lived here since I was little, and I happen to wander around the town a lot when reading, I was about to turn towards the guild when I came across you," he said, nodding towards the building. "I suppose you're going to start up an exploration team?" he asked, remembering the very few explorations he had, most of which he was dragged upon by that loud mouthed Meowth. He wondered how the cat pokemon was doing, seeing as he hadn't seen him in a good while. | |

| "Well, that's the plan at least. Maybe I'll go and train a bit first though. You can never be too sure after all." Well, what other reason would there be to join the guild other than to join a Team? Were there other options as well? Ned would have to go and inquire about that some other time. For now though he had to become a bit stronger. No matter, what the others told him, Ned was too weak right now in his opinion. He required training. "So, it has been a pleasure meeting you. Maybe we will meet again. Have fun reading!" | |

| "You can be sure if you knew your opponent," the Ralts pointed out. Before the Nincada could leave, Akuroma used Confusion to pick the bug type up off the ground. "I think I might help you train, your past is much more interesting than a book I've read for the twentieth time now," Akuroma commented, a small and rare smirk appearing on his face. He then used Confusion on the book, causing it to fly off somewhere, most likely the library. | |

| Not being able to smell the telekinetic powers, Ned was thoroughly shocked and surprised to find himself suddenly ascending from the ground, flailing around helplessly. "What in the name of all trees in the great jungle are you doing?!" Noticing, that his struggles were to no effect, he ceased to move, hanging in the air limply. "Uh, thank you for your offer, I guess. By the way, even if you know your opponent, they could always get a new idea on the way. You can thus never be too sure." | |

| "I'm using Confusion on you," Akuroma said bluntly. He then began to make the Nincada orbit around him, "Your welcome, and I suppose you're right, it's difficult to determine a random action a pokemon may take, seeing as how it's nearly impossible to know what they're thinking. Unless of course you're a psychic type or know Mind Reader," he stated releasing the Nincada from his Confusion. | |

| "Uwahh...bugs weren't meant to be in the air...Well, the non-flying types at least." Only as Ned finally had solid ground under his claws again, he realized, how loudly his heart was beating. "Being a Psychic type sure sounds pretty cool. A shame, that they're usually frightened that easily. I guess every type has their strengths and weaknesses, although I believe for mine to be lacking a bit on the strengths part. Seriously, I am weak against Fire, Water, Ice and birds. Those tend to be quite difficult to avoid..." Still, one thing the Ralts said had piqued his interest. "So, how are you planning on helping me?" | |
