I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT'S GOING ON

It was a nice partially cloudy day. The water of the pond was perfectly reflective. Sorren wanted to spend some time alone, and even though this spot was sometimes filled with pokemon, for some reason it was empty today. Sorren didn't pay it much mind, It was raining the day eirlier so maybe it was too muddy or something.

Being careful, Sorren made his way towards a tree overlooking the pond. Finding a nice shady bit of grass he sat down, letting his bag fall off his shoulders and onto the green grass. Sometimes you just need some time to yourself.

Sorren launched a volley of fireballs the first time he saw movement. Giving himself a flame cloak once again He leapt at the Ghost with a fiery kick. Sorren was done talking. No more games. Do or die time.

This Is what he has been training for. To save pokemon. To make sure no one could hurt the innocent. Sorren would not let Him get away. The determined expression on the Tochics face lacked any mirth. He could joke around when the stakes weren't as high as they are now. No holding back.

Duplex only half expected this, which is why he couldn't dodge the first ember completely, hitting his left thigh. This hindered Plex’s movement; he had to estimate the places that the next Embers would hit and blocked it with the stones in his hands.

He did this again for the next few Embers that came, only to find his rock in contact with the bird’s foot. The shock of the kick dislocated his arm and forced him to drop a helpful stone shield in his left hand. It is unfortunate that the chicken missed the sharp end of the rock, that would‘ve been helpful.

Duplex looked at Sorren's near-mad face as he landed. Looks like the 'chic is starting to have a little fun. Quickly, before Sorren could react, Plex socked him square on the jaw(do they have jaws?).

Most of his mind was content with what he has done, but a small part of his mind was curious with why his hands feels like it touched an stone stove, but then went back to being content.

Without missing a beat, sorren used the force of the impact to twirl back around. He felt the pain, but it was nothing to him. He launched an ember at the imp, before backfliping away.

There was no need to rush. No need to give in to anger. Sorren could and would outlast this creep. He spent months doing nothing but taking a beating, spent years living in doungeons, and the last year or so as a guild member. He held his own against the Master of the dojo. There was no doubt in His mind that He would win.

A bright flash of orange was all Duplex saw before stumbling backwards from the ember to his face. Plex had a few thoughts while in the process of falling.

'ugh, stubborn little bitch. That strike should've broken its jaw! Whatever, this ember is nothing. Ill just get up and-' That was what he was thinking about as he hit the Rock.

Ow ow ow. Well, that hurt. at least he's out. Now, i better get out of trouble with Sorren. It's obvious that he is stronger then me. Maybe twice as strong statistically. Ugh, i hate quoting my father, but it seems that it's 'appropriate' at this time. 'Don't lose yourself to temptation.' Mine was letting go of Duplex. If only i was stronger, then i wouldn't need to fight. Of course, an outcome like this was inevitable. Sigh, i think that rock gave me a concussion.

"Ow, that was a clean hit." Gemini said calmly and laughed bitterly. "It seems that i underestimated you, Ha!"

Gemini's guard was lowered, he was talking and trying to use some kind of mind games. but It wouldn't work. Sorren felt his beak. It wasn't the pain, no it was something else. something reminding him of the sky.

Without even thinking about it Sorren jabbed his beak forward into gemini. He crossed his eyes as he saw the glowing white mass that was his beak. He didn't know he could learn peck, but he didn't have time to think about it.

The torchic sidestepped. launching another ember before jumping back. He started formulating new strategies involving peck. It would help with that pesky ghost type. Whatever disadvantage sorren had from not being able to use physical attacks had just been remedied. He charged a focus energy for when he was ready to attack.
