» Likes: Lapis enjoys working, in fact you could describe her as a workaholic, she prefers being alone to others mostly because she finds she can actually think. She enjoys writing and reading poetry. She loves studying geology and finding different gemstones. She doesn't have the inherent ability to, like rarity, but if she tries hard enough, she can cause them to glow enough for her to see them. She loves the rain, though she merely tolerates swimming, for she doesn't like being fully submerged in water as it makes her cold

» Dislikes: Parties or loudness. If she is to hang out with others she needs it to be reasonably quiet. She finds that if she relaxes too much she starts getting incredibly bored. She likes keeping her mind working. She dislikes the dark as it interferes with her work and is generally not nice. (No offence to princess Luna, she's cool)

» Personality: A workaholic with a short temper and a tendency to interrupt people if she feels they're being stupid. An introvert, but she has close friends. She over thinks things and will often get rid of something to try to do it again better. She's incredibly determined and has not been known to give up on something. She will often overwork herself to exhaustion. If you ask you to get something done, it will get done.

» History: Lapis was born to Smith the Blacksmith and Lucky Clover who generally stayed at home. She learned how to make metals with her dad and honed her mind with her mother, although she was never patient. She has lived in Ponyville all her life, and has recently opened a shop called Nautical Necklaces. She opened the shop after her mother fell ill, and while she is not in fatal danger, she is quite bedridden. Out of deep gratitude to her mother, Lapis bought her place. It was a dump when she first purchased it, but she cleaned it up tirelessly. She now makes quite a lot of money, and is known throughout Ponyville, and even gets orders from Manehatten and even Canterlot, though very rarely. She is holding down a steady stream of money, and is working hard to help her Mom.
