A small Archen approached the entrance of the cave, taking a deep breath as he prepared to go in. He had never been this far out before, though it did feel rather nice. His rock type was at home in this dried and heated area. Acro looked at the sky, it must have been before noon since the sun still had yet to touch the middle of the sky. He wondered if he would be able to soar that sky soon. "You wont do it." "Never going to happen." He jumped as he heard the voices, he looked around wildly, seeing nothing. He dismissed it as his own imagination, after all they had sounded like George and Astrid, why would they be out here? | |

| "Just...how?!" William was at a loss for words. Could this thing teleport? Was it a Psychic type? Were there more of them? Why did it have to be Psychic types? Couldn't there be some Fighting types to fight for once? Why did absolutely everything have to have a type advantage over the Gengar? Granted, Ghost was an effective type to use against Psychic, but his additional Poison type wouldn't be much help, should it come to battle, especially since it would stand to reason, that the mother of this thing would be a psychic type as well. Almost on the spot, the ghastly ghost turned around and continued to flee in another direction. | |

| Acro attempted to follow the Larvesta, but screeched as he tripped on string that had caught his legs. He turned to see that the larvesta had used String shot to stop him from running away again. The larvesta skittered closer and closer, terrifying the Archen more and more with each inch it came closer until they were face to face, its eyes stared into the terrified Archen's pupils and the Archen couldn't help but give a squawk as he waited for this thing to rain death upon his pathetic existence. "Papa?" it spoke. | |

| Even though William's mind had been completely fixated on his escape before, that one single word the strange and unfamiliar creature had spoken, disrupted his entire concentration, caused him to turn around and would have made him fly into another wall, would such a thing have been possilbe for a Ghost type. So since knocking himself unconscious by means of a wall was not an option, a severely shocked and confused William returned to the scene, hoping to find Acro not too traumatized. How in the name of the unspeakable horrors of the netherworld could this even more unspeakable horror believe Acro to be related to it? | |

| Acro froze at the words the larvesta had spoken and simply stared at it, not only was he smaller than it, but he had barely ever even met another female pokemon before! How did this thing think he was its father?! The archen began to stutter again from the shock, his stuttering worse than ever, "L-l-l-l-oo-oo-ook, I-I-I'm n-n-n-ot-t-t-t your f-f-f-dad" The larvesta simply stared at him happily, he doubted it even knew what he was saying. He watched as the Larvesta turned to face the gengar and stare at it for a bit as if trying to remember who he was, "Mama?" it spoke. | |

| And it happened. William hadn't believed for it to be possible, but he was even more dumbfounded than before. Not knowing, how to respond in the slightest, he did the only thing he could do - sinking into the earth. Maybe disappearing would get the...the THING to reconsider his ideas. Or it would at least focus its affection on Acro... Finally in a place to think, a horrifying conclusion struck the Ghost type. That thing thought of him to be its mother. It could be in his Egg Group! Could this day get any worse in any possible way?! Crap...William had just tempted fate, didn't he? This was going to be a fun mission... Crap! He did it again! | |

| Acro watched as William began to sink into the floor of the cave, where was his friend going? "He's leaving you" Astrid's voice echoed. "You're boring him" George's voice. "He thinks you're too pathetic" Flint's voice. The voices seem to siege each and every opportunity they had to torture the Archen's mind. Acro quickly tried to rip himself free of the string, wanting to NOT be so useless for once. The archen managed to free himself, and prepared to flee with the Gengar, but the Larvesta had once again attached itself to his back. Acro screamed in terror again and fell under the weight. | |

| William had no intention of getting close to the vile abomination of eldritch horrors lurking in these caves, but as he wanted to save it from that other Pokémon he had no choice. The sounds, that reached his spectral ears clearly indicated, that a battle was taking place above him, so the ghastly ghostly Ghost type ascended into the world of the Pokémon not currently hiding underground once more. There he found the prehistorical Pokémon on the floor, the strange other Pokémon on his back. "Uh...Acro? Are you not too horribly maimed and-slash-or disfigured? I think we should make our escape..." | |

| "I'm trying but this thing has me tied and pinned.." Acro spoke, he tried to get up but the Larvesta simply stayed happily on the Archen's back, as if expecting him to give it a ride. The Archen tried to shake it off, but it seems that the pokemon's grip would only become tighter to hang onto him. He looked to William, "I-I-I th-th-think it's o-o-only a ch-ch-ch-ch iaild..." Acro waited for William's reaction, would he leave him there? Would he help him out? Acro's eyes widened when he saw something move in the shadows out of the corners of his eyes, something else was here as well... - This dice is not existing.

| This was a problem. The little thing would certainly impair their mission quite significantly. But how would they be able to get rid of it woithout seriously aggravating its parental figures? Its real ones this time. Then the Gengar had an idea. Usually he rarely got to use this move, but in this situation it might actually work! Walking in front of the two, William stared deep into the other Pokémon's eyes, humming a bizarre melody while his eyes began to glow even more eerily than usual. It was Hypnosis, a rather useful move, but sadly there were few situations in which there wasn't some random circumstance preventing it from working. And there was nothing wrong with a total stranger, who looked quite shadowy and creepy staring a child into the eyes to force it to sleep while the child believes itself to be with its parents. Nothing wrong at all. | |

| A scorpion like creature witnessed the event of the Larvesta being hypnotized. It had read the situation wrong though, and decided to leap out in order to protect the childish Larvesta. Acro squawked and was able to throw off the Larvesta, he managed to avoid a poison sting attack from the skorupi. He hopped away from the attacking pokemon, "What is that?!" he asked as he hopped onto a nearby boulder, searching for some kind of way to use his Acrobatics move in such a place. There was barely any place for his talons to grab onto, so he could not jump around and build up speed. He looked to the gengar, hoping for help once more. | |

| Sadly the Gengar was not able to help either as none of his moves involved any sold matter other than the opponent. However, William had to admit, that he was quite impressed by their attacker's courage, as the Ghost type obviously had a major advantage over the scorpion. However that didn't mean, that such a thread could be ignored. Focussing all the emotions, that had been flowing through him as he had been declared the mother of the other Pokémon into a small, glowing sphere, he then launched it at the Skorupi. Maybe the Confuse Ray would be enough for it to leave them alone. They had a Weezing to defeat after all. | |

| The skorupi screeched as it was struck by the confusing ray, except instead of waddling around in random directions it began to lash out at anything that moved, striking the Larvesta by accident. The Larvesta screeched in pain as it was knocked into Acro. The archen screeched as well as he was once again pinned underneath the pokemon's body. He noticed a strange seed nearby, and picked it up. It looked like a vanish seed, he pocketed it for use later on. He managed to roll the baby pokemon off of him and hopped back up onto his boulder, before leaping forward and screeched as he came crashing down on top of the skorupi. The skorupi's tail thrashed about, trying to find a target to poison. | |

| William, not used to so many things happening at once, had no idea, what was happening anymore. Neither did he want to attack out of fear of striking Acro or the other Pokémon, nor was he sound of mind enough to consider moving away from all the potential threats around him. And throughout all of this the strange Pokémon's screeches echoed, filling the Gengar's mind with the burning desire to banish everything to the 27.5th circle of the Ghost World just so these things would finally end and silence could return. However that sadly was not an option, so just standing around like an idiot would have to suffice for the moment being. | |

| Acro managed to leap away from the skorupi, and was quite a distance from it thanks to a boulder he had leaped on top of. The skorupi continued to flail and thrash, until it finally slowed as its confused state turned to a less panic inducing one. The skorupi turned to the Gengar that stood not too far from him, enraged by the panic and pain the ghost pokemon had caused it. Acro meanwhile was once again "Attacked" by the larvesta which had woken up. The Larvesta seemed to give a screech of terror and leap on top of Acro again, wanting "mama" to carry it to safety... | |

| William found himself still completely overwhelmed by the situation, needing some quiet, calm time to strategize. And since that didn't appear to be an option at this very moment, the Gengar spontaneously decided to make it an option. Sitting down in the lotus seat, the Ghost type then levitated a short distance above the ground for dramatic effect and released a caustic, thick gas also known as Smog, which quickly enveloped his shadowy body, hopefully giving him enough peace to come up with a solution to this precarious situation. No idea, what to do, one's partner likely thinking the same, an annoying bundle of affection and attacks from all directions...this was what parenthood must feel like... | |
