Megaman X Roleplay

You heard right! I'm going to be starting a roleplay on one of my favorite games, Megaman X!

Now, because I want this to feel like you're making your own story, I'm going to make this a player-driven roleplay. So, you can do whatever you want to do, within your limits of course. I don't wanna see any blowing earth up, kai?~

So as far as your character goes, you can be extremely creative with it, and make whatever you like. There are four categories that your character can fall into, though:

Maverick - These beasts are reploids that have either been turned dark from an error in programming, or just decided that humans were too weak to continue living. These reploids will usually work together in groups, but some decide to keep to themselves.

EX: Vile, Spark Mandrill

Maverick Hunters - Yep, this is the class of reploids that choose to fight the Mavericks in an attempt to stop them from taking over the world. They're usually the obligatory "good guys", but some prefer to work alone with their own agendas rather than those set for them.

EX: Megaman X, Zero

X Hunters - These are reploids whose original goal was to hunt X and destroy him, as he was a growing threat, but since this thread has no canon characters, in this RP their goal will be to hunt down the Maverick Hunters. Again, while they may have a goal as a group, some X hunters prefer to stick to their own agenda.

EX: Serges, Agile

Neutral - While there are many different choices for what category you can fall into, some simply fall into the "neutral" category. These can be anyone from humans to robots, but they are more vulnerable than most, as they're usually not made for battle.

Personality: Void, being an unknown being, is oblivious to the world, only doing things for his own gain. He takes no mercy on anyone, and will not hesitate to utterly decimate anything in his path. He is with his weaknesses, though, as being powered by hundreds of souls leaves him vulnerable to his own emotions, and he can sometimes break down quickly from the overload of thoughts going through his mind.

Looks:
History: Void, a program that was found in an ancient ruin that somehow sustained his power through aztecan technology. The "Void Program" as it was known at that time, was taken by scientists to be worked on and reborn into a new reploid body, but was stolen mid-development by the X-Hunters. They finished his programming and reploid body to better suit their needs, making him a deadly killer and assassin. Originally intended to be a "paladin" of sorts, his "weapons" were more suited for defense than offense.

When studied further, it was seen that instead of normal reploid programming, Void's was based on thousands of human souls that were sacrificed to create him. When his reploid body was completed, he was still kept under wraps to analyze this power further. Angered by this, he broke out of his "prison" and pursued his ultimate task, to absorb the souls of all humans. When the M-Hunters began to hunt him down, his goal was changed to accompany the destruction of the M-Hunters as well.

Weapons

V-Saber (Soul Blade)
Description: When turned off and kept on his back, the V-Saber is simply a white handle, with a slightly larger pommel that can be used for smashing. The handle itself is extremely light, and indestructible. When turned on, however, the blade becomes extremely deadly weapon, extending the handle to reveal a purple, triangular blade. The blade is made of an unknown material, but it is known to cut through nearly anything, as well as not weigh the user down at all, and being able to block small projectiles easily. Void can tap into the power of his multiple souls to empower the blade, making it twice as large, and able to block larger projectiles.

Soul Fire
Description: Void's hand was etched with markings that were seen on his program's coffin, which use his soul power to create fire from nothing. Even water can be set on fire with this power, as it is not a normal flame, but a black, powerful one. This power is not his best, as it takes most of his soul power to use it, and it is extremely inaccurate.

Soul Copy:

Description: Void can temporarily steal the power of any reploid he touches, replacing his Soul Fire with whatever power he obtained for a maximum of ten seconds before he needs to release the soul's copy. (This works for everything without a soul)
