Sunrise over the Mire's Mists.

The tunnel that Serenne had swam through had lead them straight to the mire that had been their intended destination. The Feebas grinned, marveling at their good luck. The natural tunnel had been longer than expected, and now the pale orange light of sunrise could be spotted filtering through the water, even through the grey mists that swirled above the water.
Still grinning, Serenne looked back at the golden Magikarp who accompanied her. She was clearly excited about finally being here and finally being able to search for a way to evolve.

Proteus felt even himself calm down at the soothing melody. He stared at the milotic in wonder and amazement. He did not know much about the slender pokemon, and did not know of its ability to do such thing. He almost believed that the pokemon was capable of learning Sing, but he did not know such a thing. Proteus swam up to the Milotic and said, "Wow, nice voice..." he could say no more, for he couldn not think of anything else to say. He simply watched as the pokemon looked around in confusion, as if wondering why they were even fighting when the scarf was used and gone anyways.

"I think maybe now would be a good chance to leave," smiled Serenne with a small good-natured chuckle. All of a sudden she seemed a lot more mature, with her voice taking on a softer, clearly gentler quality, even when she wasn't calming those around her.
Leaving the three Pokemon native to the swampy area behind, Serenne swam slowly alongside the golden Magikarp. She was so much larger than the small fish now and it was weird to experience the sudden change. Luckily it was something Serenne would inevitably get used to.
"I appreciate your help in finding that scarf," she smiled cheerfully.

"Your Welcome!" The Magikarp chimed, Alright...now to bring up the veil.. Proteus did not do labor such as this for free, he had a plan for this used-to-be-feebas. He was surprised by its brilliance that he had even came up with it himself! It would surely bring him closer to the riches that might await him!
"So, I was wondering. I have this thing called a Silver Veil, it's supposed to be special and has to do something with that submerged tower over by Coral Forest, I was wondering if you wanted to go investigate it with me! I can't go alone, and I'll probably find someone else to come along with us so it would be easier to get down to the bottom and see just what's down there. You in?"

"W-wait... you mean the same submerged tower that is supposed to hold the secret of one of the Seven Treasures?" asked Serenne, looking positively excited by the idea already, "Of course i'll go with you!"
The Milotic's tail twitched with excitement as they swam. She had always dreamed of searching for the seven treasures, but until now she hadn't been strong enough to go anywhere alone. Now she had evolved, she would be able to search to her heart's content, though she wouldn't mind a companion along the way.

Proteus smiled, happy that the Milotic agreed. Now not only did he have a path to seemingly riches, but he had a strong and evolved pokemon to escort him. It did not feel safe to go just yet though, too dangerous with only two pokemon to go and face what could possibly be protecting the treasure. He would need one more pokemon to help, one more pokemon to drag into the depths of the ocean.
