Spoiler:

"150 poke...that's not much, but if a lot of missions like these are done then it would stack up."
The archen looked at the pamphlet for the mission as he walked into the forest. He looked up at the trees ahead, "Well, at least we only have to find two unlike last time I was here when I had to find 10 pecha berries."
The archen sighed, "Also at least the pokemon here are fairly weak...we might even be able to one shot most of them if we use super effective typing against them. What do you think?" he asked his ghost type friend that should have accompanied him for the job.

"Yeah...you're probably right...Watamel Berries are a lot rarer than Pecha Berries though. But you were unable to find Pecha Berries? When Shiro, Nate and I were here, we didn't find anything else! I guess it's the curse of the search for specific items...so...where should we start? If I remember correctly, the Watamel bush is a very fragile one, that wilts almost immediately after the berry is plucked. We wouldn't know, where they are..."
It was the same old forest again, but William didn't mind. He had been here for so long, it was a kind of home for him. The tall trees, the plentiful berry bushes, full of Pecha Berries and the soft forest floor, brownish-green in a mixture of wilted moss and leaves.
But that wasn't what they were looking for.

"Shiro, Astrid, and I actually found several Watmel berries when we were looking for Pecha Berries, I wished I had kept them though. Maybe I should start keeping this stuff instead of trashing it like I did with the Stun Seed and Vile Seed. Someone could need it in the future and it would be a mission easily done."
The Archen was glad for the change of floor, the rocky area that was Obsidian Crevice was hard on his feet. The forest floor was a nice change that was blissful to the touch. Acro debated on taking missions here more often, easy and a nice stroll through the woods. He usually avoided missions like these since there were so many of them, but it seemed nicer than he remembered.

"Well...those berries might rot, though, if you store them for too long, so it might not be that good of an idea. And if one were to put them into a form, that wouldn't spoil that quickly, they would probably be useless in regards to a mission."
The familiar environment was a welcome change for William. Traveling around the world was interesting, but rather tiring as well. Here the Gastly knew the place. Here there wouldn't be too many surprises waiting for them...

"True...I hope that we find them fast though and don't spend ages looking for them like we did with the ribbons."
Acro shivered at the memory, he was glad to have the ribbon though. He felt himself growing stronger faster as he wore it. He kind of missed his defense scarf though, now he was more vulnerable to being damaged easier and his ability kicking in. He still had his scarf if he ever needed to use it though.

"Well...at least I've never seen any boxes in these parts. Those thing sreally were annoying. But the Joy Ribbons were worth it. The rate, at which I now grow in strength is incredible. I probably wouldn't have made it through that ravine without the extra levels I have thanks to it."
Since the previous dungeon the duo had been in, had proven not to be too suited for earning money, William was happy to visit an easier dungeon for once. Usually he was more inclined to maximize the profit, but after the happenings in the canyon, he was glad to have some time to calm down a little.

"Yeah..." Acro agreed he resisted the urge to climb the trees and be in the cover of the leaves as he would hop from tree branch to tree branch. His kind usually spent their lives in the trees practicing flight for when they evolved. The archen would have to learn how to fly from scratch with how much time he spent on the ground.
"What's over there?" Acro asked when he spotted something wedged in a bush.

"If you could, I would ask you to pinch me now. I am either dreaming, hallucinating or dead. There is no way in the Ghost World, that the first item we find is one of those, that we need. Those items only appear after painstalkingly long journeys full of trash and annoying Pokémon. How can things be working in our favour for once?"
It was unbelieveable. What had happened, that caused them to be supported by whoever it is, that governed fate? Whatever it was, William was certainly happy, that they had managed to finish half of their mission already. But the second half would probably not be that easy...

"I-I don't know...Maybe our luck is turning around for once..."
Acro was as astonished as William. He picked the Watmel berry and bagged it for the mission items while speaking, "Watmels aren't that rare even though they're considered rare...from my experience Pecha Berries are more rare than this!"
The prehistoric pokemon was ecstatic though, they had only just begun and they were already half way through this! Unlike their joy ribbons when they were searching for more than two of them they only had to find two. Acro smiled, today really wasn't going to be a complete waste!

"Pecha Berries aren't rare at all from my experience. On my latest mission here, we had been searching for sticks, but there were more Pecha Berries than leaves in this forest. I guess it's our spectacular luck..."
William didn't know, what he wanted to happen now. On the one hand, he wished for the mission to be finished as quickly as possible, obviously, but on the other hand he didn't really have anything to do after this, so the mission gave him something to do. But since he had no influence on the descision, whether they would find the other berry soon, he abandoned that train of thought, focussing on the search again.

"Found a Pecha Berry..." Acro commented with a bit of distaste. Where was this berry when he actually needed it?
The archen looked up at the trees and found that he couldn't resist anymore. He scaled the tree with his sharp talons and hugged it with his wings as he disappeared in the treetops. His claws gripped the tree branch easily and he had a clear view of the forest floor. He leaped to the next tree, causing the branch to shake rapidly. It could have dropped an item, and it could have attracted nearby pokemon's attention, Acro realized slightly too late. Was he lucky?

William wasn't too surprised. The forest was named after that type of berry for a reason after all.
A bit more surprising was the fact, that Acro had apparently decided to climb up a tree.
Small pieces of bark fell down, as the Archen made his way up into the treetop.
From that point on, William could only see some leaves falling to the ground, the Archen no more than a rustling sound up above now.
Maybe he would find something there. While it probably would be a Pokémon or another useless item, the probability of it being another Watamel Berry still existed, so William was filled with anticipation as he continued to search on the forest ground.

Acro felt safe in the shelter of the leaves. He glided over to the next tree, missing the branch he meant to land on and instead crashing into another branch. He scrambled up onto it and mumbled, "I got to start doing this more often if I plan on evolving..."
The archen hoped that they would find the watmel berry soon of course, it would make this a lot easier and he would get the poke faster. His hopes on not finding any enemies though was crushed as the tree he was about to glide over to shook rapidly and threateningly...Acro was confused at first, but realized there was danger when an item was thrown at him.

A second rustling had joined the first one in the treetops above William. It was followed by the sound of an impact, making it obvious, that the source of the second rustling wasn't too friendly.
Yet, since William couldn't see the two, it wouldn't be smart to aimlessly fire attacks into the trees.
Thus, the Gastly had to float into the trees himself, his vision majorly obscured by various branches and leaves. Through them, he could see some of Acro's feathers and...someone else.

A rattata growled at Acro angrily as Acro managed to catch the first and second stick before it struck him. The pesky pokemon peered over to the side, making sure not to lose sight of the threat in front of him to try and investigate what had appeared just to the side. When it lay eyes on William it screeched and fell out of the tree in sudden fear.
Acro looked down at the rattata that was glaring at them in anger for embarrassing it like this. It screeched and climbed up the tree to try and tackle the Ghastly. Acro stared as the Rattata simply went right through the ghost pokemon...
