The evil teams of Hoenn have joined forces to create team Eon. The team started out trying to catch a Legendary Pokemon. However this changed when they stumbled upon a breakthrough. Having done many nasty experiments to humans and Pokemon they found a way to fuse them together. Hybrids of great strength they are a powerful enemy and use them to take over Hoenn. Other regions figured out how to reverse the process easily though. In an effort to combat this they created a virus. Anyone infected turns into a Pokemon in ten days. Its a fairly easy infection to avoid. However team Eon no longer exists. All turned to Pokemon.

Okay so in this plot no one knows about the virus. To the world Eon just disappeared. Anyone they tried to search for them has gone missing. To catch this Virus you have you be attacked by a person who already got turned by it. It is curable but only in the first 10 days. If you complete your transformation its permanent. Nothing can reverse the virus should it succeed.  
No legendary pokemon. The pokemon you become is a bit more powerful than normal pokemon.

Personality: Michael is a relatively quiet guy who prefers to keep to himself. Occasionally he will make witty, snide or just plain sarcastic remarks if he's found himself in a reasonable situation. Due to the virus though, he is prone to outbursts and anger.
Background: Micheal was the son of one of the members of Team Eon, and was also used as a test subject and turned into a hybrid. Once all the people in the team had been turned into pokemon, Michael managed to escape, but was hurt by one of the humans turned pokemon. He was infected with the virus, but due to an immunity to it as being a hybrid he didn't suffer the effects of the virus.

You have to keep a pokemon feature. If you want this character the horn and tail stays. The sword is not allowed. At least not that one. Something more realistic please.

This kind of reminds me of the Transformation series by Turtlesandmonkeys.

Okay.... Once your infected you will become a full pokemon fairly quickly. 10 days. So the only way to become a hybrid is to have a serum injection. 
Also your character has the Okay Fab.

Race: Human, then turned into a Riolu

Appearance: Normal Riolu

Personality: King was a cheery, and caring Kid, when he was a human. Now silent and mysterious, talking only when necessary. He however secretly wants friends.

Background: King was a regular Hoennese 12 year old. Going to school, doing homework, living with his family. Then it happened. He was kidnapped By Team Eon... He was experimented on for months, and eventually, he was discarded. King thought he was free from any side effects, when noticed a little patch of blue on his skin... he has been traveling ever since becoming a Riolu. He can speak and understand human language, though prefers the quiet. Two years have passed since he became Pokémon. King has just reached Verdanturf town, and is continuing to travel.

Its a nice idea but poorly executed. How do you run over an ocean? Hoenn is a huge island. So it would be a little had to run over an ocean. Redo your history. A pokemon suddenly going mad seems odd to. Can you also expand your personality.
