| Well, today was turning out disastrously, and he just didn't understand why. He had found something he had liked at one of the shops, and so he left a few Poke there and taken it while the shopkeeper was busy (he didn't want to disturb the poor fellow). Now, the shopkeeper was angry at him and wanted the Mareep wool blanket back after he had paid for it. He was pretty sure that wasn't how it was supposed to go, and so confused, he ran. He met a most fascinating Pikachu (in actuality, a Primeape) while he was looking for a place to hide and took the time to give her a warm, welcoming hug. He had gotten punched for his troubles, the result of which making it look like each of his blue eyes were surrounded by a purple mask (one big bruise). In an effort to get away from the now irrationally angry Pikachu (Primeape), he ran some more, but his attacker did not give up pursuit, even going as far as knocking down a wall in the dojo that he had tried to hide in.
And now, a team of Police Growlithe were after him for "disturbing the peace." He was certain he had done no such thing. He was most peaceful! Panting, the little Joltik ducked behind the Feather Cafe and tried to catch his breath.
"There you are, you creepy little bug!" Pikachu (Primeape) said, running up to him. She pounded her fists together. "I'll teach you to mind your own space! Nobody wants your mitts on them!"
"Oh dear," Dex said, gulping. In a blind panic, he used String Shot to try and slow down her approach, but somehow, he ended up webbing himself in fear. |

| Tom stared at the scene, trying not to laugh. He failed. Spectacularly. "PfffffHaaaaahaaahaa!" The Totodile was in hysterics, clutching his stomach and laughing as the scene played before him. "Di- did that guy just - string shot himself?! By arceus that's..." The Primape was running after the creature, out for revenge, as was team of growlithe of the police force. "Oh, man, I can't stop..." Tom wiped a tear from his eye. "Hey, come on! Gi-hic. Give the kid a break! He just wanted a-hic. A hupffffffffffffft!" Yet again, the Totodile burst into laughter, and the police dogs that had been chasing the joltik had slowed down for long enough to stare at him, confused. It appeared that the Primape had no intention of letting up, however. |

| Acro watched the scene unfold from the roof of the cafe. The crowds had driven him up to the roof, since he wasn't comfortable in the mass of moving bodies. From there he witnessed the joltic's antics and the hysterical totodile. He didn't know what either one of these pokemon were though, so he identified them with nick names in his head. The yellow and fast bug was deemed Buggy and the blue alligator like pokemon was named Croc. He wondered if he should help the joltic, but the intimidating monkey and the flaming dogs held him back. What if he really did something bad anyways? Acro wondered. When Buggy webbed himself and the monkey continued after him, Acro decided. He leaned over the edge and whispered, "H-Hey, B-Buggy! Up here, I'll help you, can you reach me somehow?" | |

| It was just getting better. Now, another Pokemon was laughing at him. Dex had the presence of mind to be a little embarrassed about webbing himself, and he attempted to detangle himself from his own string shot.
The Pikachu (Primeape) was getting closer. All four of Dex's eyes widened. "Now, please, there's no need for violence. I am truly, TRULY, ever so sorry I hugged you. It probably won't happen again. Maybe?"
"HALT!" One of the Magmar (Growlithe police) had caught up to them. "Cease and desist, both of you," he growled.
"Make me! I have a bone to pick with this bug. Butt out!" Pikachu (Primeape) snapped.
And so, the Magmar (Growlithe) charged, and a fight began with Dex caught in the (at times) literal crossfire.
"Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear..." Dex scuttled this way and that, trying to avoid being barbequed and/or punched.
He heard a voice call out and say "up here." He glanced upwards. He wasn't entirely sure getting close to what appeared to be a Starly was a good idea, but he knew he didn't want to stick around the battle that was taking place. He used string shot again, this time it shot upwards and latched onto the roof. Slowly, he made his way upwards.
Immediately, he latched onto the "Starly" in a tight, fearful hug, having forgotten his better judgement.

| Tom finally stopped laughing at the bug and went to them to try to help him out - when it escaped atop a roof and hugged a bird ferociously. Then he began laughing again, pointing at the duo. "HAH OH PFFT GHAAAHHAHA!!!" Of course, the quarreling group of pokemon that had been chasing it noticed Tom pointing, and the primape began chasing after it, being careful to avoid the growlithe trying to apprehend him. It was at around this time that Tom realized that he had done more harm than good (IE: He'd done only harm and no good at all). The reptile ran towards them and spat a water gun at the primape, washing him down to the ground. "C'mon, lea-hic-leave him alone! He's just confused is a-hic-all." Tom was forcing his giggles down. "What is wrong with you, cops? He's a kid, in Arceus' name! You're not supposed to be apprehending him like he's-hic- like he's a murderer! And you, Primape! So he hugged you, what is wrong with y-hic- you?!" Tom glared at the duo (not via attack, mind you, just the normal sort of glare) as he chastised them. He really should have expected it when the Growlithe accused him of verbally abusing a police officer and trying to place him under arrest. |

| Acro was surprised by the sudden hugging of the wing, but dealt with it. He was pretty sure that Buggy was just terrified. He hauled Buggy onto the roof and turned back to the growlithe to see that Croc had been speaking to them. When the police dogs began to accuse Croc of verbally abusing the police he spoke, "Umm, Officer? He's kind of right, this guy IS just a kid...and Croc, sorry i don't know what pokemon you are, hasn't really said anything abusive to you..." Acro spoke nervously, not used to standing up for pokemon to cops like this."Uh...your name?" Acro asked Croc, he then turned to Buggy and asked, "Are you okay?" The coppers then deemed HIM suspicious. Only when he pulled out his exploration badge and proved that he was indeed Acro of the Team Roark that took down a deerling and a butterfree outlaw did something happen. | |

| "Questioning police authority, interfering with an upholding of the peace of Grassveil Town, verbally abusing an officer of the law!" The Growlithe sounded flabbergasted. He seemed to be fetching something out of the pack on his side with his mouth. In his mouth was a pair of handcuffs. "You can either come quietly or resist arrest! I don't recommend-"
And then, the Growlithe was interrupted by Acro. The Growlithe looked up, his expression like that of someone who was regretting waking up that morning. For a moment, he actually appeared to listen to Acro; though, the exasperated expression on his furry face remained unchanged. His eyes widened only a little in surprise when Acro presented the exploration badge.
"Hmm," the Growlithe said gruffly. "Looks official."
There was a pause (at which time, Dex leaned close to Acro and whispered his name to him) and then...
"Questioning police authority, attempting to override police authority, aiding and abetting a criminal-"
"What's a criminal?" Dex asked.
The Growlithe ignored him. "Fraternizing with a troublemaker! You are under arrest! You're ALL under arrest!"
Dex blinked at the lone officer. The Primeape was unimpressed. "You're going to arrest all of us? You and what army, small fry?" The Primeape got into a fighting stance, her eye twitching uncontrollably.
Then, the Growlithe unleashed a howl. A moment passed before the whole group was surrounded by no less than six more members of Grassveil's police force.
Three Growlithes, two Magnemite, and a Machop.
Dex attempted to hide behind Acro, clearly scared out of his wits. The Primeape seemed a little more unsure now.
The original Growlithe smirked. "Now, you can either come quietly or you can resist arrest." |

| "Are you kidding me." Tom stared at the small army. "So, let's compare crimes, shall we? I spoke to you in a negative manner, and the bird is holding a bug that's obviously not a threat to anybody. You, on the other hand, are wasting police resources for Arceus knows what, you're making threats of bodily harm against two guild members and a baby - I mean, look at that thing! - and you're undoubtedly abusing police powers." Tom sighed and looked at the reinforcements pleadingly. "Please don't tell me you're actually going to attack us and a baby because I told him that he should have laid off of the kid. I mean, don't you have bigger fish to fry? A thief, perhaps, or a vandal? Hell, I've been receiving death threats which you have refused to investigate, and you're trying to arrest us because we've been 'disturbing the peace'?" |

| Acro was astonished to find them suddenly surrounded by a squad, "H-Hey wait a minute! W-We haven't done anything! Honest!" he exclaimed. He tried to take a step back to see that Buggy had hidden behind him. "A criminal is someone who did bad things, very bad things. We haven't done anything though." He listened to Croc, who STILL hadn't given him a name, speak and kept silent. Croc seemed like he could handle things better than Acro was handling it. He wondered why the police force seemed so cranky though, what HAD they done to deserve this? He examined the pokemon around them, recognizing the machop and the magnemites' species. He could easily beat them in a battle with his rock and flying moves, but fighting would only make things worse than it already was. | |

| "Oh, well, I'm pretty sure I haven't done anything bad!" Dex exclaimed, still trying to keep hidden behind Acro. He peeked out a little bit. "Also, I'm not a baby. I'm a little on the young side, but definitely not a baby." He nodded.
"SILENCE!" the original Growlithe barked. "You all have the right to remain silent! Anything you say can and will be used against you!" This Growlithe obviously wasn't the "listen to reason" sort. The other Growlithe, being quite loyal to their leader, sat in passive attention. One of the Magnemite was glaring at the four of them. The other Magnemite seemed hesitant and unsure but still willing to do what was ordered. The Machop looked like he would rather be somewhere else. "All right, Pokemon, assume the positions!"
The two Magnemite went to either side of Acro and activated enough magnetism to keep the prehistoric bird Pokemon trapped between them. The Machop produced a pair of handcuffs and gestured for the Totodile to put his arms behind his back, giving him a look which clearly meant he would use force if necessary. One of the new Growlithe approached Dex with a clear plastic cage. He put the plastic cage in front of Dex, then growled at him.
"Eeep. Okay, okay." Dex obediently climbed into the plastic cage and the Growlithe officer put the lid with the airholes on top of it.
"You're out of your mind if you think you're going to take me alive, you mutts!" The Primeape breathed in, then went on the run barreling over the lead Growlithe and another Growlithe.
"Argh..." The lead Growlithe quickly got on his feet and barked at the unoccupied Growlithe at his side. "After her!" The other Growlithe snapped to attention, and then went bounding after her.
The lead Growlithe straightened up. "Now, for the rest of you, you're coming down to the station. MARCH!"
Dex started to speak up to mention something about how he couldn't possibly march while stuck in a cage, but the lead Growlithe gave him a glare, which quickly shut up any possible comment he could make.

| Tom looked pleadingly at the machop (the only one who appeared to be at least vaguely sane) before sighing. "I'm suing you after this, you know. Just sayin'." And with that, the Totodile's hands were cuffed.
(I'll leave the next bit to swirl. Not much to say here, actually, without retaliating - something which Tom wouldn't do.) |

| Acro was paralyzed by the magnemites, and couldn't do much. He couldn't even march since he was paralyzed. (Just like Ant, except Acro is paralyzed and i have a writers block) | |

| (OOC: Okie dokie! Don't worry, they'll be in a bit of a better position soon! :D)
It wasn't much longer until they had reached the station, and everyone was marched inside. The chief of the police force, a Magnezone, looked up from something it was reading and blinked. His gaze shifted from the Totodile to the Joltik to the Archen. It was silent for a moment, giving them a long hard look. Then, it looked to the lead Growlithe.
"Zzzt!" It gave the lead Growlithe a questioning stare. "Captain Growlithe, I have every piece of data about every wanted outlaw Pokemon in the world stored in my memory banks. Zzzt! Who exactly have you captured here?"
The lead Growlithe's tail end was firmly planted on the ground. He sat straight and rigid. "Chief Magnezone! These are new troublemakers in Grassveil Town." He gestured to Dex with a paw. "This one is a thief and was found disrupting the peace." He gestured to Tom. "This one was interfering with the upholding of the law." He gestured to Acro. "And THIS one was aiding and abetting this criminal scum..." Again, a gesture towards Dex who still looked wide-eyed and confused. "And not only that, he tried to use his status as a guild member to push us around!"
Again, there was silence. The dead-eyed stare of the Magnezone seemed to be penetrating through all of them. Then, at last, it spoke again. "Zzzt! Captain Growlithe, please fill out the required forms for unauthorized capture, unnecessary restraint, and standard police protocol forms 3A, 5B, 7A-b12, and 56A-c2."
Captain Growlithe sweated a little. "Excuse me, Chief Magnezone, but I must interrogate the troublemakers! I am certain that one of the others can fill out the..."
"Zzzt! No. You fill out the forms. Don't forget the forms for interrogation. I will interrogate the..." There was a thoughtful pause as Magnezone's gaze shifted towards the Totodile, Joltik, and Archen. "Troublemakers."
"But that's over one hundred forms, Chief!" There was a slight hint of a whine in the Growlithe's voice.
"Captain," Chief Magnezone said flatly.
Captain Growlithe's ears drooped. "Yes, Chief." The Growlithe slinked away.
Magnezone lead the "troublemakers" to the interrogation room and released them from anything keeping them restrained.
"Zzzt! I've been on the force since I was a Magnemite. I know criminals when I see them. Zzzt! You'll have to forgive Captain Growlithe, he's been under a lot of pressure lately, and he's always been overzealous besides. Zzzt! Still, I will need to know exactly what has occurred in order to figure out the best way to handle this situation."
Dex was openly gaping at the Magnezone. He had never seen a Pokemon quite like this one before. Perhaps that wasn't saying much, given that he hadn't seen many Pokemon, anyway. At the same time, however, there was something very impressive about such a fully evolved Pokemon. |

| "Well, I was arrested for verbally abusing a police officer by telling Growlithe off because he was trying to arrest a ba-a kid bug that decided to hug a primape. That's literally the only crime it did. The bird - I didn't catch his name - tried to help the bug out, so he got accused of aiding and abetting a criminal. That's literally it. Nothing more." Tom looked at the two nearby; he hadn't gotten either of their names. He made a mental note to ask them when they got out of the situation. |

| Acro nodded, agreeing with Tom "I wasn't trying to overrule him or anything. I was just showing who I was...I didn't mean to make him angry..." Acro was a bit upset with himself, he was stupid. He should have thought about how the growlithe felt before doing anything. Some static came off of Acro, a side effect of being paralyzed. He flinched from the sudden spark, being part flying type and weak to electricity. "Buggy didn't do anything wrong, unless hugging random pokemon and being chased through town is bad..." he still didn't know the other pokemon's names. He looked to the Magnezone, waiting for a reply. | |
