Lazy day

First topic message reminder :

Nate looked around at the lake as he walked over to it, smirking at the water. Instead of jumping in though, he turned around and looked for someplace to sit down. As he looked around he found a tree and decided to try and get up to a branch. After a couple of attempts to climb up and falling down a bit, Nate sighed and sat down at the bottom of the tree, looking out at the water again.

"Alright you sure?" Enzu asked.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure." Nate replied, and pulled himself up, climbing on top of the branch. "Thanks for the help Enzu." He thanked Enzu, before sitting down on the branch and looking out at the lake.

"No problem," he said. Enzu then jumped up and then used the tree trunk so that he himself could reach the tree branch. He then pulled himself up.

"I guess that makes it easier, with the blades and all." Nate commented, looking at Enzu. "It's really a nice view from up here. It gives you a new perspective and everything else." He commented, looking back out at the lake.

"It sure does," Enzu said, he leaned on the tree trunk, "Especially when pokemon like you and I are so small."

"Yeah, but hopefully with evolving you'll at least get a bit taller. I might be taller too, but I'll still probably be kind of short." Nate said, laughing slightly.

"Well I do know that I will get taller," he said, "My father was about three times my size."

"Huh, your father was? How about your mother? That usually has to do with it." Nate asked, curious.

"I would assume she was tall," Enzu said, "But I don't really know, I don't remember her."

Nate looked over at Enzu for a second, then looked away again, thinking about what he said. "Did something happen to her?" He asked, not sure of what else to say.

"To be honest I don't know," Enzu said, "I only have one memory of her and thats from when I was really young. But other than that, nothing."

"Oh. Well, I guess it's better not knowing then knowing something bad about it." Nate said, thinking about the whole situation of not remembering parents.

"Yup, but at the same time knowledge can help calm the spirits," Enzu said, "If you can ignore all the questions that come with it." he joked.

"Yeah, with every answer there are plenty more questions to come I guess." Nate said. "I've had my fair share of answers and more questions so far." He continued, smirking a bit.

"My grandfather said that, things like that are unavoidable circles of life," he said.
