Rush through the shadows

Azeral walked alongside Joey holding a mission paper, she knew the location they'd have to go to complete the mission, Azeral looked at the Paper closely before going a bit faster. "We should try to get through Shadowhue as quickly as possible, don't want to be to tired to do the mission." Azeral said with a smile, after the whole ordeal in Grassveil she felt she knew something that'd make Joey happy, getting their next rank badge, once this was done they'd have it, she was excited beyond most belief.

Azeral didn't ask much about the time in Grassveil, her teacher once said people deal with things, best to leave them if you can, Az decided to do that now, let him think about what's going on, if he needed her she'd be there.

Joey nodded as he continued to travel along the forest path. The shadows growing denser as they had traveled. This is definitely Shadowhue... he thought to himself silently. The incident from town still fresh in his mind. "Azeral... Grassveil is safe right?" he asked her. Despite the question being obvious that it was safe. He didn't feel that it was anymore for some reason. It hurt to even think that his new home might be attacked next.

The forest had almost no air movement at the moment. Seemingly an endless darkness that kept growing as they traveled. Little patches of light only shown every so often. At times, being almost pitch black. It was sometimes eerie coming through here.

Azeral looked at Joey, she thought the town seemed really safe. "Yes the town is safe, there's the guild, my mom and my teacher, plus a friend of mine Noel. All of these Pokemon will make sure that the town is safe." Azeral said knowing how powerful these forces were, if anything they'd all be safe from any attacks. "Why do you ask?" Azeral questioned wondering why Joey would be concerned for the towns safety, even she and Joey could beat that guy up, did he really think something bad would happen.

The pichu looked down at the ground for a moment as they walked. The pathway still getting darker as they traveled. "I don't know..." he responded back, seemingly uncertain why he would ask such a thing himself. It just came out on its own...

At that moment a brief image flashed, showing the hordes of pokemon that had attacked the village. "I really don't know..." he repeated. This time he actually had a reason. However he doubted the reason himself. He thought it was a stupid question to ask, wondering why he even asked it in the first place.

Azeral looked at Joey for a moment then decided to try and get him out of this mood. "Joey, after this we'll be getting our new explorer badge, so lets do our very best." Azeral said with a smile, she could sense Joey's uncertainty but she also knew he'd be haooy, why wouldn't he they had been working to do as many jobs as they could, Azeral just wanted Joey to be a little happy again.

Joey looked at Azeral for a moment, for some reason it took a moment to process for him. "Really?!" He responded in a much cheerful tone. "Then let's hurry up and find that necklace!" he said as he started running along the path into the darkness. It was quite clear that the pichu was now a bit over excited as his cheeks started to pop with energy.

It wasn't that bad though at the moment. It was actually being a bit helpful as it was producing some light as they traveled!

Azeral looked at Joey for a moment, had he really not been paying attention to what rank they were. "Ya, let's go get that necklace." Azeral said as she followed Joey, she was excited but not producing light, it'd be weird if she did. "We just gotta move and find it, should be easy." Azeral said considering what they've done before, something like this would be nothing for them.

Joey smiled as Azeral stated that this mission should be easy. Little did he know, they were traveling in the direction of a nest of pinsir... Most wild pokemon wouldn't want a nest disturbed after all. It is their home. The darkness was not exactly helping in this case.

"We'll find it in no time!" he said with Joey as he continued darting through the darkness as his sparks lit up where he went. He couldn't quite contain his excitement for the possibility of getting a new badge. It was too much to contain at the moment.

Azeral walked around slightly slower then Joey was going, she wanted to get there but not that fast. "Joey, while it is exciting we are still in a dungeon." Azeral said thinking about getting a new badge, she was excited but her caution side kept nagging at her, something in the air felt slightly off to her, she wanted to know why but couldn't put her finger on what exactly. "Joey, Let's slow down a bit." Azeral told him.

Joey groaned as he heard her state to slow down. "Whyyy, I think we are..." Joey stopped suddenly. "uhh... Hey fella's.... uhh..." The pichu was standing in front of a mass of pinsirs. They didn't seem too happy with him being there. He took a step back glancing towards Azeral's direction.

One of the pinsirs stood up and its claws clamped shut briefly before opening back up. Seeming to pose a serious threat to the duo. "Azeral... Uhh... What should I do..." he said in a slightly worried hushed tone. He asked this because if he attempted to move back the Pokémon came closer. He was sure if he went closer to it, it would attack. It seemed to be a stalemate at the moment.

Azeral stared at the Pokemon, she didn't think they'd have a good shot at this so she walked next to Joey. 'There are times where we fight, and there are times where we run, this is that time." Azeral said as she grabbed Joey and teleported herself and him behind the Pinsir group, way behind and Az started slightly running.

"We don't have time to fight the likes of them, let's just teleport away whenever we see Ferals." Az said while moving.

Joey remained still as Azeral had walked next to him. As this had happened, the rest of the pinsir got up and started charging towards them. Azeral then started saying that there are times to fight and when not to. She had then grabbed him, and they appeared elsewhere.

Joey sighed with a bit a relief. "Yea... Glad you can do that." he stated as he looked off into the distance. He wondered how much further this place they had to go was...

"It's awesome isn't it, i can just dissapear and reappear wherever i want, though like before there are some penalties if i use it to much." Azeral said remembering she can only go three times using short distances, one long distance though. Azeral felt something weird but didn't wanna tell Joey, she ignored this feeling for now and kept moving.

Azeral checked once around where they were in case any Pokemon wanted to come and greet them, she'd answer with an attack though, a fine hello.

Joey looked towards Azeral as she made the comment. "Wish I could do that..." he said slightly disappointed. However, it wasn't something that could be helped. "Lets hurry up and get out of this forest! I want to find that item!" he said with a bright smile.

He then began walking along the path once more. He saw a few pokemon along the side of the path. As they had approached the area where the pokemon were. The pokemon seemed to scurry back away from the path, as if they were afraid.

"That... is something..." he said quietly to himself. It was loud enough for Azeral to hear him, yet not directed towards her. "Umm... Azeral? What is going on here?" he asked her. Hoping she knew what the problem was.

He then looked a bit ahead of the path, a clearing showing up in their site. It was possible that they were getting close to the falls now.

Azeral looked around seeing most of the Pokemon around them scurry back to where they came from, did she and Joey really look that threatening? "Lets just ignore it for now, we should complete our mission and get back to the guild as soon as possible." Azeral said, for some reason she was getting a weird vibe from this place, she must of just been a bit to tired for her own sake.

"I see something ahead." Azeral said as she started going a bit faster towards their destination, she was ready to get there and get a new rank, she had been waiting for this ever since she finished the mission before.
