Amy's Time to Shine

It had been a few days since Amy had seen Sonic, so she decided to try looking for him again. But this had been to no avail. The pink hedgehog had looked around every single chili dog cart in town, with no luck. This wasn't normal for Sonic. If he wasn't at a chili dog cart or with Tails - which she had yet to check - then something was up. So she ran to Tails' workshop to see if he was there. "This just isn't normal..." She thought to herself. "Sonic would almost always be found at one of those chili dog carts..." As she reached the Mystic Ruins, she was in fear of Sonic being missing or something having happened to him that she literally ran as fast she can to Tails' workshop. Heading up the steps to the two-tailed fox's door, she was about to knock when she decided not to. "What if Sonic's with Tails and he's hiding from me?" She thought. "But then how am I going to find him..." She thought about this for a moment.

Tails could already tell Amy was at the door, because as he was working, he (surprisingly) heard her running to his workshop as she had gotten closer. He walked to the door and opened it. "Hey, Amy. Come in." He smiled. The kitsune didn't exactly know about Sonic's mysterious disappearance, as he had been working in his workshop this whole time. "Is there something wrong?" Miles walked back over to his spin-chair (weeeeee!), and sat back down.

"Yeah, I haven't been able to find Sonic. Now I know that he could just be hiding from me, but to be honest, I don't think it's that. I checked every single chili dog cart in Station Square and he was not at any of them." She said, worried. Trying to calm herself down, she sighed. "I could just be fearing nothing, but this isn't normal for him..."

Tails looked shocked. "That's odd..... He's not here, though. I wouldn't know where he was because I've been here the whole time," The kitsune shrugged. "Kinda hard to believe he's not around, though." The fox added. Standing up, Miles walked towards his computer and opened the laptop. Typing furiously, he turned on an app he had made in case of emergencies: Sonic Tracker. "This is an app I made in case Sonic went missing. I'm lucky I did." Tails told Amy over his shoulder as he typed. "AHA!"

Amy was still concerned, since as said before, it wasn't like Sonic to go missing. "What? What is it?" She asked. "Did you find him?" She looked at Tails.

Tails grimaced and turned around. "Somehow Eggman managed to snag him. He must've gotten Sonic when his shoes were off......" The kitsune said, sounding more depressed than anything. "We're going to have to go after him, if he's on the carrier." Miles stated bitterly, as he hated going there whenever they needed to.

"What?..." was all that came out of her mouth, in disbelief that Sonic, her own hero, had been captured by Egghead. "We have to rescue him! What if Eggman's plotting some new diabolical plan and doesn't have anyone to oppose him?!" She said, scared of what might happen.

Tails nearly jumped out of his chair. "Oh god... you're right! We better get going and see if we can find out what he's doing.." The fox told her urgently. Getting up, he gestured for her to follow him to the Tornado (Whatever generation it is now. I'm not keeping track). The kitsune climbed inside nimbly and after Amy got in, started the ignition. Then off they went.
