The Plot
Not much has changed in the year 2037. Technology has made some slight advances, society has stayed the same, and as usual for mages across time, Gales have continued to hunt those who can use magic. Gales, the bear-like creatures acting as forces of nature to keep the balance between magical beings and humanity. They've been a constant throughout time, no matter what mages do.
However, with the new advances in technology, a group of mages known as the Liberators devised a way to wipe out the Gales. There was debate on whether or not doing so would be the right decision, but despite this, a few members of the group traveled back in time and changed history. In the year 2007, thirty years prior, they gathered the necessary tools and ingredients, recreating a device capable of unleashing an airborne poison that affected only the Gales, resulting in their complete extermination in a short amount of time.
There were consequences; losing the ones that kept balance caused the future to become a different one, full of paradoxes that plagued the world because of the interference in time. Realizing the problem killing the Gales created, but refusing to bring back the mage's apex predator, the Liberators became the judge and jury of the magic world, choosing mages to kill in order to keep the balance themselves. With this going on, several other mages, who discovered what change in history occurred, received the help of a time manipulator and began to fight the Liberators both in the year 2037 and in the year 2007. In response, several Liberators fought back in 2037 whilst others went back to 2007 to ensure that the Gales were killed.
Meanwhile, in 2007, several mages from the time period have begun to notice something wrong. Strange mages cropping up in the area and gathering help from present day mages to join the fight for or against the Liberators. The sides are set, and now it's up to the mages of both the past and the future, working together and fighting each other in their time periods for the future they want.

Magic Basics-
Mages are people who were born with magical abilities, ranging from abilities related to various elements to other obscure features such as balance, waves and the such.
There are three separate kinds of control for these elements, found in Manipulators, Enhancers and Illusionists.
Manipulators: These mages can generate and control their element to their advantage; for example, an ice manipulator could create ice and snow from themselves, and a fire manipulator could generate flames. These mages are seen as more offensive in combat when it comes to that, but can vary.
Enhancers: Enhancers are mages that cannot outwardly generate their element, only using it inwardly. For example, an Electric Enhancer could generate electricity to charge objects, give others extra energy and drain electrolytes form others with touch. A Water Enhancer could moisen objects, hydrate others to heal burns and also heal wounds with their touch and the water inside them. Enhancers are most often support and defensive mages, though they may vary as well.
Illusionists: A mixture of the previous two, illusionists are able to generate their element outwardly, but it does no physical harm, instead being used to trick and manipulate other people. For example, a fire illusionist could manipulate their surroundings to make someone think the whole room is on fire, while an air illusionist could make somebody think there's no air in the room and begin choking. With enough effort and strength however, under some circumstances an Illusionist can manifest their illusions into reality for a time. Usually these mages are a mixture of offense and defense, once again, varying on the wielder.

Magical Items and Rebound
Magic cannot be used freely without having an impact on the Mage. Normally, a wielder will take Magic Backlash from using their abilities, draining their own energy and weakening them. The object most use to avoid this backlash is their Magical Item. The Magical Item is something that is matched with a single Mage, and once that Mage finds it they can use it to absorb their backlash. It has been seen to be able to be multiple things including a taser, a medallion, and even a bone transplanted into somebody. Note that only the Mage the item belongs to can use it as each item is fit for one Mage only. You cannot use somebody else's magical item.
With each magical item comes the possibility of a summon. Some Mages are able to use their item in order to summon a creature or form using the essence of their item. This summon can be anything from a mythical creature, armor, or an alternate form. They cannot be summoned without the magical item, of course and not all mages have a summon.

Settings
In 2007, the world is, for lack of a better term, relatively normal. It's society as we know it, except with the addition of mages in the world. I'm sure you all remember life in 2007, shouldn't be that hard to keep in mind. This period also has Gales, which are detailed below, that can crop up when magic is used and may appear to hunt down mages.
2037 is, well, the future. It's not as futuristic as space travel and spaceships acting as primary transportation, but it has gone through several technological upgrades in laser technology, computer technology, weaponry, etc.. If you have a question as to whether or not something would be out of place, feel free to ask. Also, the future is now plagued with paradoxes, which are detailed below.

Gales
Gales are the primary enemy of Mages, and are a source of balance in the world. They're animalistic in nature, not known of being capable of anything else but carrying out their purpose. Mages are anomalies, and as such their existence offsets the natural balance of the world. Because of this, Gales evolved with the purpose of regaining the balance through hunting down and killing Mages. These creatures are polar bear-like in figure, and while their individual sizes may vary these creatures are almost always found to be larger than actual polar bears. Whenever a Mage uses their magic, Gales will be able to sense it and will head to the source of it if the magic is strong enough. They are fairly hard to kill, and as such the best course of action is usually to run. It is not impossible to kill them though, and has been done on several occasions. Because of the current timeline, Gales will not appear in any threads taking place in the future, but will appear in the past.

Paradoxes
In the future, because of the changed timeline, all sorts of paradoxes have begun to crop up in the world. These tend to manifest themselves in the forms of areas with different fields of gravity and physics, different structures from time cropping up in the future, sometimes even coming in through pre-existing buildings, creating an almost glitch-like appearance. Ghost-like images of people from different time periods who can't be interacted with, be it talking or physical interaction, have also been spotted on occasion. In some of these areas, although it's incredibly rare, it's possible for one to get sent back in time by entering a paradox area, or touching one of these holographic people.

The Liberators
Before the paradoxes started, the future had gone exactly as nature intended it to, which included the fact that Gales were still around. The idea of Gales being there to keep the balance between nature and magic wasn't one that was accepted by the whole magical community, as a few conflicts between mages in the past had shown, and there were some who wanted a way to destroy all of the Gales. With the technology available in the future, a group of mages were able to figure out how to create a device, and the airborne poison it would contain, to wipe out the Gales. Some members of the group went back in time and gathered the needed resources to build it, wiping out the Gales out in the year 2007. Because of this, all Gales disappeared from the future and several paradoxes began to pop up; but one of the biggest problems was how to keep the balance now that the Gales were unable to. The Liberators seemed to decide that they would be the ones to do so, and became almost leaders of the mages in the area. They began to randomly select mages, choosing who was to be killed in order to keep the balance. However, it wasn't unheard of for them to simply pick mages they didn't like or had personal grudges against instead of using a random process. Of course, not all mages were happy with this as it essentially made The Liberators the judge, jury and executioners of the magical community.

5. In order to travel between time periods, there are two ways. One, with the help of a Time Manipulator, one can be sent to a different time period for a time. This is the only method that can be used if you've started in 2007. This can also be used in 2037, but with the help of paradoxes, it's possible to be sent through time when entering or interacting with a paradox, though this is very rare, and if you're planning to use this please clear it by us.

Name: Aaron Shibashi

Appearance: Aaron has a pale complexion with blue eyes and blonde hair. His bangs come down just to eye level, and the back of his hair goes to his neck. He’s got an average height and build for his age. As far as clothing goes, he simply wears sneakers, blue jeans, a black t-shirt and a dark red vest he tends to keep buttoned up.
Personality(Optional): Aaron has a laid back and carefree personality, usually witty and being one to make jokes during most situations. Energetic and social, if he can strike up a conversation he will. Despite his usual thievery, he sees it as a necessity, and while he doesn't like to admit it, a challenge as well, and he tries to do what he can to balance it out with good actions. He had strong beliefs and morals that he stuck to, not bending or breaking to suit anyone else's needs. Once he has formed a friendship with somebody, he is completely loyal to them, as long as they don't stray from his morals.
History: Aaron doesn't know where he was born, as he and his sister were orphaned at a young age. The two spent some time in an orphanage in the Boston area, before both were adopted by the Shibashi family when Aaron was three years old. The two shared a close relationship, and the family was a relatively close knit one, only being made up of Aaron, Naomi, and their adoptive parents. He received a regular education up until he was 14, and discovered his magical abilities when he was 12.
One day in school when he was fourteen, he got into a fight with another student and accidentally used his magic, rapidly draining the electrolytes from the other boy and putting him in critical condition. This hit him hard, and made him think about how unnatural magic was and what sort of problems he could cause. Without telling anybody he left his family, traveling on his own and teaching himself how to steal to get by, not wanting to stay in the area.
When he was 15 he was caught by the police and detained at one point, being held until he could be sent elsewhere. He never was though, as this event lead to his first encounter with the gales. Having been attempting to break out using his magic, he managed to attract a few, which provided a distraction for him to get out, though he barely did so, being attacked by them as well. On his way out he grabbed a taser, which he went on to discover acted as his magical item.
After this incident, and several others he managed to get himself into, he got better with his abilities, and managed to pick up a few helpful items and skills along the way before meeting another mage, Claudia, when he was 18. During this time, he found himself drawn into a conflict between two mages, Wolf and Henry. Henry was searching for an artifact that would allow him to destroy the gales, but required Wolf's death to use.
Aaron found himself on Wolf's side, and met several other mages during this experience, including his sister, Naomi. The two had an only slight reconciling just after the events of the feud, but their feelings about one another are still complicated. The feud had ended after  another mage named Axineld took the artifact from Henry, giving each side no reason to fight anymore. After these events, Aaron has settled down in an apartment in New York City, traveling around occasionally and working a job as a reporter to make money. This isn't to say he hasn't had his fair share of adventures in the meantime, however.

Appearance:Dana is a shorter than average woman, with an average build and pale complexion. She has a dark brown hair that almost seems to have a red hue to it, and brown eyes. Her current clothing consists of black combat boots, black leggings, and a darker blue colored short pencil skirt going about half way down between her knees and hips. For her torso, she wears a dark green t-shirt with brown suspenders attached to her skirt. To top it off, she wears a blue top hat, matching the color of her skirt.
Personality(Optional): (I’ll add later, I just want this finished at the moment.)
History: Dana was born and grew up in Florida, living a relatively normal life. Her parents were both mages, so they taught her from the get-go about mages and magic. She always wondered whether or not she would end up having magical abilities, and found her answer once she was six, when she sent a ball forward in time, finding it once more a few days later.
Once her parents discovered this, they made sure to keep instructing her about the dangers of such magic. She understood it, but continued to teach herself how to work with this ability. It wasn’t until she was fourteen that she discovered that she could send more than just objects through time, she could actually send people. This came with several new rules she set for herself around using her abilities.
A short time after this, her family moved to New York, and began to live around there. She began going to school in the area and realized that there were several mages living in the area. She’s mostly tried to stay out of the trouble that other mages seemed to get into, but recently she’s been picking up on some disturbances in the timeline, and has begun checking it out with the help of other trustworthy mages.
Element: Time.
Magic type(Manipulator, Enhancer, Illusionist): Manipulator.
Magical Item: A bulky, blue wrist watch she wears on her right wrist.
Summon: Dana's summon is a large humanoid creature, with the appearance of a human woman. Her body is fully covered in a white cloak, and a plague mask covers her face. White feathered wings sprout out from her back, the feathers turning black at the tips. Her hands have black gloves on them, with fingers ending in claws, and her feet have talons instead of human feet. She carries a shield in her left hand, and a sword in the right. Each weapon has a synchronized hour-glass on it, and when the sand fully runs down to the bottom, the two weapons turn into an axe. When the hourglass runs down again, the two weapons switch back. Dana can affect how fast the sand runs with her magic abilities.

Appearance:
Claudia is a slender female of average height. She has long, wavy ginger hair that she occasionally wears in a messy ponytail. Her fringe is swept to the left side, not long enough to hide her green eyes. Not a big fan of skirts, Claudia prefers to wear jeans and with a variety of shirts. Her favourite is a white shirt with autumn leaves patterned along the bottom edge and extending up the left side. She'll often be found to wear a thin cardigan over the top of the shirt of her choice, though the colour could be anything from blue to grey depending on what she's wearing underneath. Claudia's favourite footwear are a pair of old red converse high tops. During the winter months and colder days, Claudia carries with her a grey long coat in case of rain. Winter months often also see an accompanying scarf in order to keep warm.

Personality:
Claudia is usually outgoing and friendly but often finds it hard to trust people due to the prejudice some harbour against the mage community, mages themselves being the exception. However she will warm up to others over time, slowly building the trust she lacks initially. Intelligent and a bit of an expert when it comes to computers, Claudia is good with technology generally, even going as far to be a more than decent hacker. She is dedicated to anything she sets her mind on and once she immerses herself into a task it is usually rather hard to get her attention again until she has finished.

Fear - Can detect fear in others and also manifest other beings' fear into images, or with much energy and concentration, turn the images into reality. Through intense concentration and physical exertion, Claudia can also use her powers for quite the opposite, instilling hope into those around her. Aiding these abilities, Claudia is able to sense other people's emotions. She is most acutely able to sense fear, being able to detect even the tiniest hint of fear in a vast sea of hope and joy.

Summon:
The spirit of a phoenix named Béacenfýr [Pronounced: Beaconfire] was trapped within the medallion long ago. He has an un-explainable connection to Claudia and can only manifest himself outside of the medallion when Claudia is feeling strong emotion, though he can speak to her whenever he wants through a form of telepathy. It is due to the immense power of the phoenix dwelling within her object of power that she is able to blur the line between Illusionist and Manipulator and can manifest fears into reality with great physical exertion on her part.
The medallion can also deflect fire when used correctly due to Béacenfýr being trapped inside it.

Personality:
A mischievous young female who has long since adopted a happy and energetic demeanor as a way to cope with the loss she has experienced over the years. Always curious, Sophie is easily distracted and loves to find her own answers to the questions she asks. With a taste for adventure, Sophie often won't consider the risks of doing dangerous things which commonly ends up with her getting herself into trouble. Luckily, she is resourceful enough to get herself out of most situations she lands herself in, but even that is not always a foolproof way of going about things. As a result of her lonely lifestyle, Sophie actively seeks companionship and so will never miss out on an opportunity to make friends, especially now that she has distanced herself from the few friends she had in order to protect them.

History:
Sophie was raised in a comfortable home in the dense forests of Philidelphia for the first seven years of her life. Her parents were both mages, so she began learning about her powers from an early age. Gales attacked the small house one day, though Sophie didn't know what had drawn them to the area. The monstrous creatures killed both of her parents, Sophie narrowly escaping, terrified and running from her home until her legs gave out on her near the outskirts of New York City. The images of her parents' deaths continued to haunt her for years and she developed a fear of Gales beyond that of the normal sense that mages should have.
Alone, Sophie turned to petty theft in order to sustain herself. Using power borrowed from  Célnes, the wind spirit trapped within her magical item, she would be able to easily slip in and out of buildings, taking what she needed and disappearing without a trace. New York City was perfect for this job due to the already high crime rate and the bustling crowds allowed her to blend in perfectly.
Three years after reaching New York City, Sophie met a young mage named Lucius whom she got along famously with. He often looked out for her and provided her with the company she sought, Célnes' presence being less than helpful in most occasions. She became involved in a feud between two powerful mages named Henry and Wolf. After this feud died down, Sophie returned to her former activities until she was approached by a strange mage in 2007 - a Liberator from the year 2037. Gales were a common sight in the city due to the large population, but they served as a constant reminder of the terror that Sophie had felt at her parents' murder. When given the chance to wipe the Gales from the face of the planet, Sophie was more than happy to oblige and allied with the Liberators in an attempt to help them realise their goal, cutting ties with the few friends she had in the hope that she wouldn't endager them with her choice.

A wind spirit named Célnes (kayle-nez) was trapped within Sophie's staff aeons ago and it lends Sophie it's power, enabling her to 'fly' using it. This spirit has a history with the phoenix of Claudia's medallion.

Appearance:
Poppy has short auburn hair in which she wears a small poppy flower - her magical object - behind her left ear. Her eyes are a light shade of blue and she is physically fit due to her more nomadic lifestyle. The clothing Poppy wears is also rather basic; shirts and trousers that are easy to move around in, accompanied by extra layers when it's cold. She doesn't earn all that much money, taking small jobs when and where she can and gratefully accepting help from others when it is offered.

History:
Poppy is a bit of an enigma to most in the way that not many people know much about her. She doesn't seem to socialise too much with others on account of not wanting to get others mixed up in the path she has chosen for herself and as such, only she knows her true name, others referring to her by the name of Poppy due to the small poppy flower she wears in her hair.
Though she was surrounded by mages since childhood due to being born into a family of magic users, Poppy didn't discover her own powers until she was a teenager. Having such close contact with other mages however allowed her a first-hand glimpse of the power that the Liberators exercised over the mage community; picking and choosing who was to be sacrificed for the world's balance. More than once people she knew were openly killed in the name of balance and over the years she became more and more frustrated with the excuse. After all, these people were still hard working people with lives of their own! What right did the liberators have to take that away from them?
Poppy discovered her magic quite by accident after one such incident where the selected mage had been one who was able to generate fire. In attempting to protect himself, he'd accidentally set fire to an area nearby, including an area of vegetation. The water within the plants caused the flames to smoke rather than burn and in a short moment of fear, Poppy found herself surrounded by the smoke, inadvertently having gathered it as a weak form of protection.
After the discovery of her magic, Poppy began to train herself to use it properly and it was common for her to set small fires in the garden just so she could try and get used to her new-found abilities. A short while later, the Liberators came for another teenager that lived in the area, one who had openly proclaimed their distaste of the way the Liberators could choose anyone they liked and kill them for no reason at all in the name of keeping balance. Though she wasn't close with the teen, Poppy objected to this victimisation as they had done nothing wrong and still had years of their life ahead of them. The difference now was that she could do something about it. After the Liberators attacked the teen and left them for dead, Poppy approached them to see if she could help. As if instinct took over once more, she found that she was able to accelerate the natural healing process using her smoke and ash based magic, though it cost quite a bit of her own energy and she found herself with quite the headache soon after.
With this new revelation of how she could use her powers, Poppy realised that she needn't stop here. She could help other mages that were unjustly chosen to die by the Liberators. She could protect those who were undeserving of death. Poppy left home soon after and began to tail Liberators around the country, finding about who they planned to sacrifice next and -in the interest of preserving both her own life and the balance of the world- making a personal judgement as to whether they deserved the death or not. She would save those who she felt deserved life, but would refuse to act upon those whom she felt could not be redeemed. However, wherever she went, no matter what the circumstance, she would never tell anyone her name and would make efforts to keep other people at arms reach so that she wouldn't harm anyone, physically or emotionally, with her presence and lifestyle. She would tread this path, but she would do it alone.
On one occasion, a person that she had healed gave her a strange little poppy flower, coated with a fire resistant, clear plastic named Starlite -  as a small token of thanks. Grateful for the gesture, Poppy kept the flower, wearing it in her auburn hair. Soon after, she began to realise that she no longer received the magical backlash when healing others. Healing no longer drained her of her own energy and she found that she could use her powers more freely. Remembering the objects her mage parents had, she assumed that she had discovered her own magical item.

After receiving the poppy flower, those she saved began to recognise her by this one defining feature. She became known just as Poppy, both to those she helped and those on the side of the Liberators. She almost became a sort of urban legend in certain places for the way that she would often just appear to heal a mage, saving them from death before heading off again to continue her nomadic lifestyle.
At the beginning of the RP i'm hoping she'll meet someone who is more involved in the direct Liberator conflict who will inform her of the attempts to return things to the way they were before, with Gales the ones who kept the balance. She'll likely join their cause.


Element: Smoke and Ash - A sub type of fire manipulation, Poppy cannot manipulate fire itself but only smoke and ash produced by it. Her main use for her magical abilities is healing, which she achieves by converting the thermal energy created by smoke and ash into kinetic energy and/or ATP in order to give cells excess energy which can then be used to accelerate the natural healing process.

History: Born as the son of a carpenter, Theodore grew up around a lot of saws and drills, something that would be a very, very bad thing for someone with powers like his. Soon after he discovered his powers at the age of twelve, his parents, who obviously did not believe Theodore's claims about the moving objects made him see a psychotherapist. While they could not find anything wrong with him, this episode of his life led to one important thing - it awakened Theodore's interest in psychotherapy and the mental world. Thus the first step towards his future carreer was made. After finally having become a psychotherapist however, Theodore was confronted with quite a few cases of depression, grief and suffering caused by the deaths of loved ones at the hands of the Liberators or in rarer cases the Gales. And thus a new resolve awakened inside of him. There had to be a way to prevent all this suffering from happening. It was of little use to treat the symptons, the core, the imbalance would have to be removed. If he would be successful, then noone would have to die. If he were to fail, then noone would be sad about someone else's death. And so his story began...

Personality(Optional): Cantelle is quiet and reserved upon first meeting people, but really she's the complete opposite. She's both logical and full of energy; always ready to bravely and boldly go no matter what the mission. Her inner energy and positivity helps make up for the dark and pessimistic nature also housed within her personality. The two balance each other out, stopping her from ever being too much of a downer at one time. Though her shyness plagues her, she constantly tries her hardest to be a leader like her sister Serena, and not a follower.

History: Cantelle is one of three triplets born to the Sharp family in Florence, Rhode Island. All three sisters were identical, but their magical identities were anything but. One sister, sickly yet strong and good-hearted Serena, was born a mortal. Cantelle was born with peculiar time magic, as time enhancers weren't very common to find or hear about. The final sister, Astanzia, was born with space magic, and was also found to be an enhancer. The sisters were at first raised by their parents until they were age 5. At this point they were moved to an apartment in New York and watched by a nanny, but began to govern themselves for the most part.
With Serena weakened by sickness, the title of matriarch of the three triplets fell to stubborn-minded Astanzia. This was a problem for Cantelle, the quietest of the three sisters. She was bullied mercilessly by Astanzia, who even separated her constantly from Serena, who Cantelle loved dearly. Cantelle spent many cold and lonely hours cooped up in her room, playing her violin. The violin she played was a very special treasure, an invention that Serena and Cantelle shared and tweaked whenever they could possibly be together. Cantelle was serious about playing that she even had all the hair on the right side of her head shaven off (Cantelle being left-handed) so that her hair wouldn't interfere with her as she played.
One day, a certain tune Cantelle came up with attracted an unexpected guest to Cantelle's room; a strange human-looking rabbit by the name of Toroko. He claimed to be a character Cantelle had come up with after reading the story Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll and taking a particular shining to the white rabbit in the story. She had become so enamored with the character that he had formed a conscience of his own and grew into his own separate existence. Toroko explained to Cantelle that he had become her summon, a creature born from the time magic within her. He explained that he had the ability to time travel and had been doing so perpetually until her song called him back to her time period. His own time-traveling ability came from Cantelle's, he continued, and with practice he was certain she could master the art herself. Cantelle was inspired by Toroko and quickly made a record of the tune that called him, which soon became her first great piece.
Cantelle tried to tell Astanzia about her newfound friend. She told Astanzia all the things Toroko had told her, and even summoned him into the room to introduce her. Astanzia was unable to see Toroko, however, and no matter of convincing from Cantelle could make Astanzia believe otherwise. Serena was also unable to see Toroko, and as a result Astanzia falsely found Cantelle to be borderline schizophrenic and was even harsher about banishing Cantelle to her room. She also forbade Cantelle from using her magic, especially as a means to help other mages. Astanzia feared Cantelle's magic was the more dangerous one, so she constantly tried to control her younger sister. When Cantelle expressed interest in meeting mages in the city, Astanzia sharply forbade that as well, harping on the dangers of paradoxes if Cantelle was to use her magic to aide the others.
Cantelle's magic quickly became a form of escape for her. She soon found she could travel through her own past under Toroko's guidance using a certain song. She would travel back to the happy times she had with Serena, and the fun trips that the sisters would very occasionally take. She began to get even better with her magic, discovering that she was not limited to her own timeline, but could jump back to the timelines of her past relatives. The first timeline she jumped back to was Joan of Arc's.
Through her magic, Cantelle began to realize she had power over her own life, and began to quietly seek independence for both herself and for Serena.

Light blue eyes, the right one of which is clouded and murky when he is not accompanied by the dragons. He has a tattoo of a white and a black dragon ceiling around his eye when he is accompanied by the dragons. He wears a white long-sleeved collared shirt with grey pants and black suspenders and black boat shoes, all accompanied by a royal blue scarf (once owned by his father) which he wears in place of a tie.

Personality(Optional): Zylen is an intelligent boy with a deep attachment to his mother and her unfortunate past. He draws a lot of inspiration from her moral code. Zylen also (more secretly) appreciates his father and strives to match his work ethic, though Zylen's attachment to his father lacks the same amount of depth. He is very secretive and mysterious, though he hides nothing from his mother. He comes off as eccentric and scheming, though his thinking is often very simple and straightforward.

History: In the year 2014, Mia Parker (the Balance Mage who had been initially presumed dead) returned to New York after a horrid ordeal and officially reunited with her grief-stricken boyfriend, Dylan Frock (Mage of Darkness). After months spent re-kindling their relationship and working out the personal problems that had arisen, the couple became engaged and later married in late September of 2015. Their first child, a son they named Zylen Xavier Frock, was born in mid-November of 2016.
Zylen was born a relatively quiet child with no real outstanding complications, though within his first years of Zylen's life, his mother Mia began to notice something strange about him. He seemed to bump into things and stare blankly rather frequently, and she quickly discovered that Zylen was blind in one eye, his right eye. Mia's summons, Tenebreyin and Luxyan (commonly known as Yin and Yang), quickly stepped in and announced that they had selected Zylen as their heir and would gladly be his right eye for him whenever they were with him; it would be completely within their power. However, there was a catch. If Mia passed the dragons on, she would be stripped of all her magic ability and would be rendered helpless. Mia, unafraid of the consequences, gladly chose to be left magicless and passed the dragons to Zylen on the spot in order to assure her little boy full use of both of his eyes. They discovered over the next year that the dragons could in fact jump between hosts through physical contact, but Zylen could only see out of his right eye when the dragons were with him.
Zylen's childhood into a turbulent time. His father, Dylan, was working tirelessly to better Hydra Airlines; the company Dylan had inherited from his mentor Axineld. He was rarely home, so Zylen spent most of his time with Mia, who became a gradeschool teacher around the time Zylen began going to school. Through this time he formed a very close bond with his mother, especially while listening to her stories. The things she told him fascinated him. Zylen formed stable relationships with all his sibling, finding he really didn't dislike any of them.
Mia also acted as Zylen's personal magic tutor, teaching him all there was to know about the dragon's magic and how to work with black and white holes. Zylen adopted a couple of her methods, but over time began developing systems of his own. They would share the dragons during training, but otherwise they were always typically at his side.
Upon entering college at age 16 (after skipping a few grades due to superior intellect), Zylen began studying to become a stock broker, leaving the title of "Hydra Heir" to one of his other, more fitting siblings.

Personality: Serach is quick, intelligent, and decisive. She is a strict opportunist, adapting to any situation as it presents itself. When not on edge, she is still a tad abrasive. Despite her aloofness, she follows a strict code of discipline and honor. She does not make friends easily, but once she lets them in to her circle they tend to stay there for a long while. However, when betrayed, Serach has a way of cutting people out of her life with surgical precision. She is a perfectionist and her harshest critic is often herself. She strives to be more compassionate and considerate of other's feelings, seeing it as yet another imperfection to be washed away.

History: Hidden within the sands of the Middle East, the Ḥashshāshīn Order still breathes. The worlds first order of true Assassins, the Ḥashshāshīn pride themselves on a long, honorable tradition. Founded around 1080 AC at the onset of the first Crusades, the Order has always worked for the greater good of humanity, lead by a figure known only as Hassan-i Sabbah. Though the original is long dead, all leaders of the Order take on the name, whether male or female. Their primary work is eliminating those who they deem a threat to the freedom and rights of the people, through whatever means necessary.

Throughout the years, many rumors have spread about the Ḥashshāshīn Order. This would seem only natural, as the Order has always shrouded itself in secrecy. One of the most famous and unfortunate come from Macro Polo. It was often questioned how Hassan-i Sabbah gained such absolute loyalty from his followers, to the point where they would lay down their lives without a second thought. It was spread by Marco Polo that Hassan-i employed the use of drugs, causing his followers to hallucinate "paradise" and then, after the effects wore off, manipulating them with the promise of returning them if they did as  he asked. Only part of this is true. While Sabbah did show his followers a vision of paradise, it was not with drugs, but words. The Order works only to further the goal of making Earth itself a paradise. They work so that each individual may have a better chance to live and prosper. Behind the curtain, they work to strike out evil and tyranny, where ever it may hide. That is the true work of the Ḥashshāshīns.      

Serach Alshich was born into the order near the heart of Israel. Her parents members of the cell in the holy city of Jerusalem, one of the many small branches of the order. Outside their commitments to the order, her family attempted to retain an illusion of normalcy. Her father, an older member, ran a small market by day and headed the cell's budget by night. Her mother served as a mentor in the finer arts of the Order's work, also too old for field work. Living in the Holy City for the most part, Serach was raised in the Hebrew faith, a practice which she still follows to this day. She often visits the local temple to pray and contemplate before any mission. It is also well known how strictly she keeps a kosher diet.

When she reached adulthood, Serach served her mandatory three years in the Israeli Military, further refining her skills in combat. During her years serving, she was highly respected for her skill in covert operation. She even stayed on for two extra years in order to serve in Israeli Spec Ops.  After her time in service to her country, Serach was pledged as a full member of the Ḥashshāshīn Order. In keeping with Ḥashshāshīn tradition, she changed her surname to Sabbah, honoring the Order's founder.  She would now learn the greatest secrets of the Order: Magic. Though the Order forbids the use of magic in any sort of direct fashion, it does allow its use so it may augment the user's capabilities. Serach found a natural talent for Wind magic, using it to enhance both her speed and strength.

Over the years, Serach has preformed many operations for the order, ranging in locale from Russia to Brazil, Hong Kong, England, Kyoto, and more. She has become one of the Order's most trusted operatives and has recently been given the privilege of "Occupational Freedom." She now has permission from the Order to freelance her missions. As such, she now wanders the globe, looking for any cause she deems worthy.

Magic Element: Wind

Magic Type: Enhancer

Magical Item: A small vial which she keeps on her person at all times. Hung around her neck. This contains an ounce of sand and the feather of a eagle.

Summon: When she deems fit, she can summon a familiar in the form of a caracal (Look it up). He goes by the name Abdur-Rashid, which translates from Arabic as "Servant of the Rightly Guided". It is believed that he may be an incarnation of the spirit of Hassan-i Sabbah. The two are able to communicate mentally.

Abdur-Rashid has the ability to shift his form from a caracal to shifting, golden sand.

Other Items: Few. Serach travels often and tries to travel light. On her necklace, besides her Magical Item, is the Star of David. She will also take a copy of the Torah with her and keep it in whatever area she may be staying in.

Other: As a hobby Serach is an avid free base rock climber. She also enjoys playing a good game of soccer and chess. She can both speak and read several languages.

History: Emily is Dylan Frock's sister. She is a mathmatical and scientific genius, and if she had her way she would not even be involved in the magic world. She would simply be using her Time Magic to help further scientific research. She discovered her magic powers at around the age of 18, which is obviously late for most mages. And contrary to Dylan's wishes, she wanted to train and learn to use her powers. once the Liberators started killing mages in the present, and causing all of the paradoxs, she became a strong supporter and member of the resistance. She is not a very strong fighter, but she uses her magic as best as she can to help stop paradoxes, and bring members of the resistance between the two time periods.

Mia has light blue eyes and light brown-blonde hair. She has a scar over her right eye, and in 2037 she has a huge bite mark scar on most of her neck. Her voice is also a bit raspier in 2037.
2007- Shorts, black tank top, white and grey high-tops.
2037- Ensemble seen above, only with brown and warm grey boat shoes. No tattoos unless she is in possession of the dragons.

Personality(Optional): Mia's been around since the beginning. Her personality hasn't changed much. /SHOT
History: Mia started out as a street urchin who was an ones by her rich parents at four (they took her on a taxi ride, only to tell her to get out in some strange part of the city and then drive away without her). Her hurt, anger, and sadness repressed her natural personality and her dark and vicious once-dormant second personality took over. The second personality (which would become known as "Dark Mia") often lashed out at other people and even killed for pleasure. Upon discovering another orphaned child (a baby) however, Mia reclaimed control over her life, cut her once long hair, and decided to take responsibility and raise the baby herself.
Fast forward to four years later, Mia gets herself entangled in a fight on a rooftop between Wolfgang Herris and Henry Coldmen. She takes Wolf's side in the matter and begins her galavanting through New York, which led to her eventual intimate relationship with one Dylan Frock.
After the beginning of the events in the Magic RP, Mia faced off against her alter ego - made - flesh, Ània Scourger. Mia emerged victorious after locking Ània deep within The Grey Zone. The fight left Mia battered and emotionally disturbed, having learned secrets that she felt she could never share with anybody. After the fight, Mia and Dylan (who was also gravely injured on Everest's Peak after attempting to face off with Ània before Mia's arrival) were transported to a nearby hospital. Mia recovered first, and spent the rest of her time waiting faithfully by Dylan's bedside for him to come out of his coma. During this time, she met the elusive Axineld.
For a brief time, Mia lived with Dylan until departing for college at UCLA, where she currently is in 2007. She recieved her bachelors in elementary education and then moved back home. Soon after she returned home, she and Dylan were engaged to married. However, Mia was later in an accident concerning a Gail biting out her throat that would put all those plans to a screeching halt.
Mia's body and spirit were revived through enhanced reincarnation, though her soul remained separated. For a while, her body and spirit acted as a different person entirely, named Aim Celeste. Eventually, Mia and her body were reunited, and Mia returned to NYC to be with her loved ones. She and Dylan were married afterwards, and had an as-of-now undetermined number of children, one of them being Zylen, who would later inherit Mia's magic.

Ronaele's hair is almost honey colored, and is a bit on the wild side. Her eyes are a clear blue, and her complexion is sort of a sandy color, although a bit more on the tan side. Normally she tends to wear a satin sleeveless top, and sweatpants, although depending on the weather, she may add a flannel jacket, or even ditch the top altogether and wear a wool sweater. On the flip side, she may exchange her pants for denim shorts.
Personality: Ronaele is energetic and optimistic. Idek what else to put here.
History: Ronaele was born to an Illusionist mother, and a mortal father. Originally, when the twins were in the womb, the doctors found and reported one fetus, who was developing a week or two quicker than most. However, around one or two months after the first few check ups, the mother would suddenly complain of a splitting pain in her stomach region and was rushed to the hospital. A quick ultrasound (Since an X-ray might be to risky for a pregnant soon to be mother) left the doctors dumbfounded. Instead of one baby just like before, it somehow had split itself into two. The two fetuses were rather small compared to the somewhat advanced growth before, but that wasn't the biggest things on the doctor's minds. Try as they might without harming the mother or the children, they couldn't figure out exactly how such a thing could happen, before finally coming to the conclusion that one of the babies was hiding behind the others and that was it. A couple of months later, Ronaele and Eleanor were born to an exhausted but excited mother.
Despite having their mom as a Mage, the twins were never taught much about Mages, due to their slightly mother wanting to keep them in the dark just in case they weren't Mages. However Ronaele and Eleanor, would discover their joint magic around the time they were ten. After spending some late hours outside playing, Ronaele started to shiver from the cold the night brought, and started wishing for some sort of warmth. The girls were about to cross a street, so as instructed they held hands, and a small sort of spark appeared in the air above them, before growing into a fingernail sized flame. Enchanted, they stared at the light giving apparition, letting go of the other's fingers when at the exact second they dislodged themselves, it disappeared. At first they were crestfallen, but the two soon began a race to get home to be the first to tell their mother about this thing that appeared in the sky. Their mom realized that at least one of her children was a Mage becoming slightly saddened by the news, for despite the fact that a Mage could do things mortals couldn't dream of, the danger of having the ability to use magic almost easily balanced, even outweighed the benefits. She explained what had happened, and finally educated them about their part heritage (outside of earshot of their father of course).
At age 13 the twins finally figured out their magic abilities and limitations, creating a small set of rules, for example the fact that they both had magical abilities, and that they were complete opposites, but the most important one was that they either have find a way to physically 'connect' themselves (like holding hands) or to use their magic at the exact same time for their magic to even work. Their mother tried teaching them as much as she could, for her children were both manipulators, while she was an illusionist, until finally they decided to make their own way in this world, leaving the nest. Before the two went, their mother and father gave them both necklaces with the key back to their house (So that they could always return home) and wished them good luck. Those necklaces became their magical item, and they would soon find them to be one of their useful possessions. And that's where these two are today.

Eleanor has platinum blonde hair which she puts a headband on to try and tame the unwilling beast that is her hair (with little results). Her eyes are a navy hue, and her complexion is sort of sandy colored, although a bit more on the tan side. Generally Eleanor wears a long sleeved shirt which is folded up to her elbows, but in colder weather it's put back down. Also she typically wears denim shorts with leggings underneath, and puts on combat boots.
Personality: Eleanor is still fun-loving like her sister, but is slightly more logical, and a bit more down to Earth.
