Rinko Test Contest: BlueKat12 vs pokepikoo

Aand I have nothing really to say here other than reminding you that you are in the modded condition, where the battle thread will go on for four pages, with each of you posting in turn and then a mod posting to describe how the moves and techniques affected each other and the battling pokemon.

In the interest of preserving a format that isn't biased to the person who posts first, each duo of posts can be posted in any order and I won't randomise someone to go first as long as you can decide between yourselves (or someone just posts, either way |D)
e.g, you could have kat, pikoo, mod, pikoo, kat, mod and it wouldn't matter as long as both of you post only once before the mod posts. If any of this is confusing please tell me and i'll try and clear things up |D

But anyhow, when you're ready; this is a single battle and only one pokemon will be used by each co-ordinator.

The audience's elated cheers filled the roofed contest arena as the MC announced which two co-ordinators would be battling for their place in the final round of the contest. The hall was brightly lit by the daylight, through a large glass roof. The field itself was mostly sandy, with areas marked out for the co-ordinators to stand. As both competitors took up their positions on opposite sides of the field, the female MC called with gusto for the match the begin.

This time the trainer came out on foot, as they sent out a pokeball that exploded into an eruption of leaves that circled the pokemon as it came out into the arena. A skiddo made its way onto the field, it bleated happily, bouncing around in a circle that seemed to be more out of excitement rather than a part of any appeal. The skiddo looked to the opponent as if remembering this was a battle contest, the skiddo jumped and turned so it was facing its opponent.
"Bulk up and Seed-bomb!" the trainer commanded.
The skiddo gave a cheerful bleat as it began to glow a tint of red and its face grew a bit more determined as it raised its attack and defense. As it did so, seeds sprouted from the collection of leaves around its neck and was launched at the pokemon. The seeds exploded near the opposing pokemon with mix of red from the bulk up, yellow from the seed's explosion, green from the mix of red and yellow, brown from the mixing of red and green, and yellow-green from the mixing of Yellow and green! The mixture of colors seemed to spread throughout the battle field as the seeds seemed to spread around rather than focus on just attacking the opponent, some of the seeds went straight up and right back onto the skiddo, and raising its attack even more due to its ability to absorb grass type attacks and raise its own attack. Although this came at the sacrifice of doing damage to the opponent of course!

Pikoo and his pokemon Espurr saw their opponent's pokemon, Skiddo use the Bulk Up, seeing it's attack and defensive power increase. He saw this as a good opening move, allowing the Skiddo to get a decent power advantage right at the beginning. Then he saw the Skiddo use Seed Bomb, launching several seeds at his Espurr before they exploded into a veriety of different colors, keeping with the theme of the contest as the other seeds that hadn't exploded continued to fly through the air. Those could be used to Pikoo's advantage though.

"Alright Espurr, gather up those seeds with Confusion." Pikoo said before the Espurr's eyes began to glow a bright shade of blue that began to surround the flying seeds. The Espurr then used the Confusion to launch them all in the air above it.

"Now use Disarming Voice." Pikoo said as the Espurr looked upward and then let out a loud streak, sending out pink sound waves towards the seeds. When the waves reached the seeds, the seeds exploded into an assortment of rainbow colored sparkles as the ones that had exploded before hand had, but this time with a tint of pink from the soundwaves. The sparkles then showered the Espurr, making it's body shine with multiple colors as it gave an nice smile, for the cuteness factor.

"Lets keep going Espurr. Use Barrier." Pikoo said before the Espurr became surrouded by a cubed shaped see through Barrier around himself. This move would be able to increase Espurr's defenses dramatically, which would help his pokemon's frail defenses. However, defense wasn't the only reason that Pikoo had Espurr use that move.

"Alright, now use Thunderbolt." Pikoo said as the Espurr then began generating a large about of electricity that filled the cube shaped Barrier. The barrier then shattered due to the Thunderbolt, which would result in several yellow, electrified shards of the barrier being sent flying towards the Skiddo.

"Bulldoze and Leech Seed!" The trainer spoke, wondering why the trainer shattered the barrier that was raising the defense of the pokemon which could possibly ruined the defense raise.
The skiddo gave a bleat and charged forward, its head lowered both to attack with its horns and to protect its eyes from any flying shards that might be flying about. The ground had dust kicked up from it that powered the attack with the ground type attack as the skiddo attempted to run over the espurr.

While the Skiddo charged towards the espurr, green seeds sprouted from the skiddo's leaves that would attach themselves to the espurr, sprout vines and completely encase the espurr in a glowing green and slightly brown aura from the Bulldoze.

"Hehehe, fell for it. Now Espurr, Leer followed up by Confusion." Pikoo said as his secret strategy to get the Skiddo close to his Espurr was a complete success. Then the Espurr's eyes began to glow in a radiant red color as it used Leer, hoping that the intimidating look it gave off would lower the Skiddo's defenses. Shortly after that, the Espurr's eyes began to glow in a blue shade as it used Confusion which mixed with the red shade of the Leer to create a purple like glow, which complemented the pokemon's fur very well. The purple glow then surrounded the Skiddo before it could get it's attack off, lifting it's feet up off of the ground a little bit. Espurr than pushed the Skiddo back towards the area where the trainer was, hoping to deal some damage and possible confuse the pokemon.

The skiddo had looked up, checking to see where its target was, only to receive a leer and shake a bit. The glowing aura also surrounded the skiddo and sent him back to the other side of the Arena. Damage was dealt, but the skiddo managed to keep its head on straight and avoid confusion. The skiddo received a command from ts trainer once more and the skiddo began to glow red as it used Bulk up once more before charging towards the Espurr again, using Bulldoze with a reddish brown cloud of dust following him. His force of attack felt stronger as the dust cloud was bigger, but not enough to coat the battle field and prevent the site of the reddish skiddo as the brown mixed with the red glow to make a brick like color.

Keep on coming and I'll keep pushing you back. Espurr, use Confusion followed by a Barrier." Pikoo said as the Espurr's eyes began to glow in a blue shade once again, the blue aura surrounding the Skiddo as well. Espurr then used the power of Confusion to push the Skiddo back just like before, stopping the Bulldoze attack before it even made contact. Then the Espurr became surrounded in another clear cube as it used Barrier again, raising it's defensive power in case of another physical attack.

The purple aura surrounded the skiddo, although not pushing it back as successfully as the first time, it managed to slow the skiddo down enough to only attempt to smash the barrier and destroy the defensive boost. The dust that had been trailing the skiddo began to catch up and cloud around the skiddo.
"Milk Drink then another bulk up!"
Time passed before the skiddo leaped out of the cloud of dirt and seemed to be looking much healthier than before. It bounced about in a circle happily as more red began to surround the Skiddo, another Bulk Up being put in place as the skiddo's muscles flexed with the bouncing.

"Ugh, Barrier's gone but that wont stop me. Use Psyshock with Confusion!" Pikoo said before the Espurr began to generate a large ball of psychic energy in front of it. Then the Espurr's eyes began to glow in a blue shade yet again as the Psyshock became surrounded by the blue aura before getting lifted into the air. Espurr then used the power of Confusion to break the Psyshock apart into a quintet of smaller Psyshocks which then began to fly toward the Skiddo in multiple directions.

The skiddo was struck with the duo of attacks, but it remained strong thanks to the Milk Drink from earlier. The kid gave a bleat of determination as it began to grow red once more, a green cloak surrounding it as the skiddo charged towards the espurr once more, planning to charge into it and set off the Seed Bombs in a kamikaze fashion, some of the seeds would strike him and raise his attack even higher with his bombardment of seeds along with attacking the espurr with the grass type attack, hopefully making it unable to counter the attack in the same fashion it had when the battle begun.
