A Vacation into Winter..?

Keyami sat on the banks of the frozen body of water, staring at the ice. "Alright!~ Time to skaaate!~" He leaped onto the ice (thank Arceus it was safe for him to walk across), and promptly fell on his face. "Yoooow~" He whined, trying to get back up and ending up sliding around on his stomach and getting a faceful of ice.

Nate walked for a bit in silence, thinking, then spoke up. "Who's AID?" He asked, curious about the names and such.

"AID? Oh he's Annoyingly Intelligent Dude." Keyami nodded as he spoke. He refused to tell Shaman's real name for once one was bestowed a nickname of awesomeness, one was forever known that way. Unless, of course, you grew to the level of the king himself; Keyami. No one has become that worthy yet. "Peasants!" Keyami suddenly crowed, snickering as he drew closer to the exit.

Nate was about to say something about his confusion, but decided not to. They were almost out anyway, and not that he didn't like Keyami, he just found him to be a bit too...excentric. Of course most pokemon in the area seemed that way. "Uh, yeah...alright." He responded.

Keyami seemed oblivious to Nate's somewhat awkward answer. He chirruped something unintelligible back at the Pikachu before skipping onwards until he reached the mouth of the forest. "Heyyyy look, EMWAME! It's the opening~" He then stood there in absolute silence, not making a move to exit the forest. He seemed content to simply stand there with a grin and point at the opening.

Nate nodded his head, and stood there, expecting Keyami to move for the exit. Of course though, once again, his expectations were proven wrong as Keyami just stood there. "You, uh...you going to exit?" He asked once again awkwardly, confused about why they were just standing there.

"Nope!~" Keyami crowed brightly, bouncing on the heels of his feet. He fell silent once more, beaming at Nate for no discernible reason. He blinked and raised an eyebrow after a long moment of silence. "Well EMWAME? Aren't you going to do the super special secret forest dance? You can't leave without doing it!"

"Super secret...forest dance...?" Nate asked, not even sure what to do or how to respond. "I uh...don't know it...HEY WHAT'S THAT!" He yelled, pointing behind Keyami before running for the exit, hoping that the nothingness behind him caught his attention. Nate figured it would, since Keyami was so ADHD, but he also knew to expect surprises from him.

Keyami looked around excitedly before hearing the Pikachu's pitter-pattering footsteps and turning back around. "HEEEY EMWAAAME!" He yowled. He dashed ahead and grasped at Nate's tail, hoping to catch him and stop him. "I NEED TO TEACH YOU THE SUPER SPECIAL SECRET FOREST DANCE OR YOU'LL HAVE BAD LUCK FOREVERMOOORE!"

Nate thought he was going to make it, but felt Keyami grab his tail and fell down. "BUT I DON'T WANNA LEARN THE DANCE!" He yelled, trying to get back up so Keyami wouldn't drag him back. He just wanted to leave, and he didn't care about any 'bad luck' that could come of it.

Keyami scrambled up after having tripped over Nate. He promptly sat down atop the Pikachu and began rubbing his head. "Shhh my pupil. Let Keyami teach you the dance." He proceeded to speak as if he was some sort of old tribal chief or something who knew all.

Nate let out an exasperated sigh, followed by a groan. "I just want to leave..." He mumbled, completely tired from everything. "Just show me the dance." He grumbled to Keyami, and also added "Could you get off me?"

Keyami leaped off of Nate with a gleeful sound. He twirled around before finally coming to a halt. "Alright! First step: Stand with your arms like this." He put his arms out so that they were parallel to the ground. "Now do this." He wiggled his tail about as if it were a leaf in a storm. "Then proceed to do this." He moved his arms about like an octopus. "And finally, we end up like this." He flailed about before dropping to the ground, doing the worm, and then finally rolling back and forth til he came to a complete stop. He stood up and brushed himself off. "And that, my good friend, is the Super Special Secret Tree Dance."

"Do you just make this up as you go along?" Nate asked Keyami, and put his arms parallel to the ground like he had. He then started to wiggle his tail around, attempting to mimic Keyami. Wondering why he was doing this, Nate started to flail his arms around and got ready to finish the 'dance'. Nate dropped to the ground, but instead of doing the worm, which he didn't know how to do, he face planted the ground hard. "MRHMSON OF A..."He muttered, and rolled around muttering random things before coming to a complete stop. "Does that count...?" He asked Keyami, still lying on his back.

Keyami narrowed his eyes and fell silent for a moment. "...Points for effort. I suppose it'll work." His voice showed that he wasn't very pleased with Nate's performance but the Pikachu had passed. "Very well then, EMWAME! It appears that it is here that we shall part ways." He flashed a grin that could trump the Cheshire Cat before scampering off, tail streaming behind him.

"Huh?" Nate asked in confusion, getting off of the ground and watching Keyami run off. "Well then..." He muttered to himself, and walked out of the forest. He had had enough of the area, so he decided it was time to head back to the Grassveil area.
