In Comes the Third Side…

Tallulah stared in wonder at the pretty waterfall illuminated by the glowing blue mushrooms. Then she heard a plop, and turned around to see Acro, who had just tripped. Tallulah held out a paw to him. "Need some help up?" she asked, smiling. There was something, nagging at her in the back of her mind, something directed at Acro. She scrapped that thought, but she decided that now was a better time than ever to tell Acro her full name.

"By the way, my full name's Tallulah," the Buizel stated, keeping things short, straight, and to the point. Kind of like her nickname...

Tallulah didn't hesitate to save the Archen. She dived into the water and looked for him, but couldn't find him. The Buizel swam back up. "I can't find him either!" she exclaimed. She was worried, but she really had a hunch Acro was going to be okay. He was a tough little Archen.

Acro groaned and found himself on solid rock, he wondered why he didn't drown. He looked up to see who or what had saved him, expecting to see two buizels looking down at me. He found himself alone and in a cave that extended into darkness. The waterfall roared behind him, his friends must be on the other side! He turned to the waterfall and shouted over the waterfall at the top of his lungs, "George! Tallulah! Behind the waterfall!" his voice must have been a whisper to them though. He grabbed a rock and chucked it as hard as he could at the waterfall, it flew through to the other side and hit George on the head.

"Ow! What the?" George felt his head and saw a rock on the ground. "Wait, where'd that come from?" It suddenly hit him like a rock in the head that just hit him. "Behind the waterfall!" He didn't know if Acro or some random pokemon threw it but it was thrown from the other side of that waterfall. George suddenly ran and jumped into the water appearing in the cave on the other side. "Hello."

Tallulah chuckled as George was hit in the head with a rock. She figured it out, too: there was something behind the waterfall. She jumped through it right behind George and ended up in some kind of cave or ruin. She was relieved to see her current partners there.

Acro greeted them, not knowing he had it George in the head. He spoke, "Check it out! I told you there were some secrets! This must be someplace with some kind of treasure inside!" Acro grew giddy, he shook water off of his feathers and ignored his aches and bruises from the landing. He looked at the mouth of the cave and said, "Let's go in!"

George got into the cave after climbing up a small ledge. He looked around, it seemed quite dark. Although George always trained in Serene cave as a kid, he was used to dark caves. George turned back to help Tally up. "So, These are the Monochrome Ruins. Well let's get started."

Tallulah smiled. "Okay then. Secret places are always cool." she said calmly, coming up ahead and following behind Acro and George. "Monochrome Ruins, eh? This shouldn't be that hard..." Tallulah wasn't afraid at all. She felt the excitement of an explorer.
