Together in Petcha

Maximus the Growlithe ran slowly (or walked quickly) into Pecha Forest, glancing back behind his shoulder to make sure Starfire, his new companion and team mate, was following. His eyes were bright and excited, reflecting how eager the young Pokémon was to begin exploring. His own team: Team Cloud Nine! Max wagged his tail happily. While Grassveil was a nice enough town, he'd been awfully bored lately.... But surely exploring would be a nice change from his old, slow-paced life! It was true that Team Cloud Nine hadn't officially been signed up at the Guild yet, but surely that could wait. Max slowed and looked around at the forest. He'd never actually been here before and was eager to start getting to know Pecha--and his team mate, Starfire.

"Max wait for meee!!!!" Starfire cried out running as fast as she could to catch up with her friend. Skidding to a hault she nealy ran into the slightly larger Pokemon. "Max do you want to take the lead? The forest is sooo pretty." she said quickly.

"Sure!" replied Max, grinning. He took a step back as the Vulpix nearly ran into him. "It really is, isn't it?" he agreed, looking around again and taking better notice of his surroundings. He continued walking but more slowly, looking around at the ground for items and such. :3

Starfire was looking at the sky off in her own daydream. The day when she would evolve into a Ninetales and Max would be an Arcanine. With their powerful moves they would make an awsome team. "That will be so cool." she thought out loud.

Max looked over at Starfire, trying to picture her with the cream-white fur of a Ninetales with himself standing beside her, a tall Arcanine. He found it almost difficult to imagine ... it seemed so far off.... The Growlithe gritted his teeth with a new determination and inspiration for his team. They'd make it, no matter how long it took. Team Cloud Nine would be a name honoured and respected by all!
"What'd be cool?" Max asked, drifting back to the present and looking at the Vulpix with mild curiosity.

Starfire was shook out of her daydream and looked over at Maximus. "Huh? Oh, I was just thinking it would be awsome if we evolved. With my FLashfire ability and, what's your abillity?" she asked looking at him.

"Also Flash Fire!" he replied, smiling. Starfire was seeming more and more similar to him all the time. Max grinned with a slightly dreamy look on his face. "Yeah, it'd be awesome to evolve. It'd make the team even more awesome!"

"Petcha berry!!" Starfire shouted running over to the pink berry and hopped on it. "Thiss'll be awsome if one of us gets poisoned. Maybe after we leave Petcha forest want to go to the guild and sign up as an exploration team?" she asked.

Max's tail wagged at the thought. "Yes, we should definitely sign up!" he agreed with a nod.

(I don't know what to say. ;A;)

Starfire started to bounce around Max, "Well what are we waiting for? Come on!" she laughed and started running ahead.

Max followed, tail wagging. "Should we sign up right now, or would you like to finish the dungeon first?"

(I love how these posts started out long(er) but then got really short. xD
Do you want to finish anything here or just go straight to the Guild?)
