Music = Shadowhue Forest
Radar had never really liked Shadowhue Forest.
Understatement.
Radar hated Shadowhue Forest.
It's always been scary and creepy, and it made him feel really uneasy. The lack of light always made him nervous, too. Can you imagine? A Dark Type afraid of the dark? ridiculous, right? But...the dark was really quite...uncomfortable...for Radar. He was fine with the dark, a lack of light never scared him...he just preferred things to be filled with light than cloaked in darkness. It was just a personal preference, that was all. Just a personal preference...
There was only one reason the Murkrow was there in that creepy, spooky forest, and that reason was; Yigo.
After this is over... Radar thought. ...it's just Yigo and Radar Fun Time... Radar had forgotten all about not wanting to come to Shadowhue Forest, blindly rushing in because; hey, him and Yigo get to do something special and fun. Great! Yeah, never mind the fact that Radar'd rather be in Pecha Forest, where it was nice and safe and nothing would happen to him...instead? He was in Shadowhue Forest. The most awfullest, creepiest, most hella uncomfortable-est forest there was.
But...Radar was here to forage.
“So, umm...” He began, walking, starting to nervously fiddle around with his wings. Once again, don’t tell him he does that...he can’t help it, no need to make him self-conscious of it. Radar looked at the Sandshrew with him in this spooky, scary forest, feeling nervous before, but...seeing Yigo made him feel a bit better. At least he wasn’t alone in Shadowhue Forest. “See any berries around?” Radar was desperately trying to make small talk right now just to keep his mind off of the creepiness that was Shadowhue Forest.
He really didn’t want to be there.

| Rage. Rage was a powerful emotion, one that was hard to deny when it takes route. It seemed Shadowhue had grown accustomed to making it's visitors feel it in full force. Rage could bring forth events that one would regret, regardless of intent care. Deimos knew this well from encounters in the past, though right now, he didn't have a single care in the world for caution. Before him lay a wounded friend, a confused ally and a horde of those with the intent to tear them away from the realm of the living, off to join one he knew so well. That... That was his breaking point, especially considering they had advantage against him of all things. They weren't even taking him seriously it seemed.
While Tina had done well charging off to rescue Yigo, Deimos glared around at the enemy while slowly advancing on the scene from behind, wanting to leave a message such pests would never forget. While Tina's scene of acrobatics and avoiding getting struck was amusing enough, with one of the Ariados getting its just desserts due to a sudden reversal, it did little to quell his anger.
With one Ariados already dealt with by its own web, the Absol glanced around to observe the rest of the scene, noticing a duo preparing an attack from above and a familiar voice in the distance just begging for another round against his Spectral claws. All the worms were coming out of the woodwork today. He could no longer tolerate how the situation was escalating.
Instead of just sitting around and taking the hits, Deimos calmly advanced towards the voices with nothing but destruction on his mind. If he could get close enough... Then maybe he could prevent the shrew getting harmed. Though he'd only heard rumors about his stones unfortunate side effect from his family it was more than enough to know that overdoing it could absolutely mean unintended losses.
"I don't care how many of you decide to come crawling out of the woodwork. It's time for a little carnage" Deimos announced loudly, before invoking his last resort. Carefully letting down his 'bag' and retrieving the orb from within, Deimos glared at the stone, calmly grasping it with his palm and turning his glare towards where he assumed the voices where coming from. Hopefully, this would be far enough to not harm the others.
A harsh growl was released as the stone burst to life, releasing a burst of light and color that on the battlefield one would reckon had no place. This wasn't just a Volbeat setting up a light-show however. As the stone's light poured out blindingly, Deimos let out a harsh growl once more, his face and horn contorting with rage as the circular stone engulfed him with a cocoon of light, a single sigil standing out among the chaotic light and energies. No longer could he be ignored. No. He refused it.
The cocoon rapidly expanded outwards as his body contorted and shifted within, shifting and shaping it into something greater. Soon enough however cracks began to form within the structure, revealing ashen fur within. The cracks spread rapidly, the chamber shattering in another brilliant ray of light as a monstrous pressure was released outwards, surging across the forest floor like a tidal wave.
A harsh growl of anger was emitted from within the light, before a lone figure emerged with a face of stone. Whereas Deimos before kept his fur clean and in line, that could no longer be claimed to be the case. Upon his back emerged wings of brilliant silvery fur, whipping up gales of pressure with every motion. His horn had fattened, with a second beginning to form out of the other side of his skull, his claws ever sharper. Though physically the changes weren't huge, the aura of intimidation unleashed by his presence screamed overwise. Nearby, the sound of something falling out of a tree overhead came crashing out, breaking the sudden silence Deimos had wraught. A certain familiar bug might recognize it as a surviving scout from a prior battle, motionless. Dead.
With the silence shattered, Deimos glared at the Noctowl above and an incoming assault. Slashes of wind? Is that all? The newly changed Absol unleashed a vicious howl, shattering the silence and whipping up harsh winds. The weather changed in an instant, the air slashes being obliterated by the coming storm as snow and ice wracked the forest. Blizzard had been unleashed upon them, its instigator long gone from sight amidst the white storm set upon them.
Using the cover of the storm, Deimos silently advanced upon his companions, wanting to deal with the most immediate threat first. The birds can wait. Blocking them from assaulting Yigo further was all that mattered, despite feeling the anger within screaming at him to rip and tear. That... Sounded fun. | |
