» Personality: For generations, Lapras’ have journeyed around the world and the depths of the ocean making them curious creatures, naturally. Neptune is no exception to his ancestry. He strives to uncover secrets and to discover treasures. He will dive as deep as he needs to into the sea to understand her secrets. While he is more comfortable in the water, he allows his curiosity to wander out onto the land. He refuses to limit himself and what he can accomplish. This can sometimes lead to him possibly biting off more than he can chew, but he has the “whatever happens happens” and a “I will cross that bridge when I get to it” kind of attitudes.
In social settings, Neptune does well in conversation and enjoys getting to know others, after all, getting to know someone can lead to adventure and acquiring more knowledge. Neptune is also very good at picking up on the emotions of others and wants to ease feelings of sadness, nervousness, or any other unpleasant feelings. Other Pokémon may perceive him to be a little bit too nosey, however, this is not entirely his fault. Neptune is just curious by nature and is always wanting to expand his horizons.

» Likes: Neptune enjoys a good mystery to keep his curious mind active and sharp. Whether it is an unknown dungeon or a simple riddle, he is more than happy to dive deep into it.
Neptune enjoys the art of storytelling. His stories are usually very grand and exciting (and usually exaggerated, but he would never tell anyone that).
Neptune also enjoys discovering something new (whether it be new to the world or just new to him). It provides him with a sense of accomplishment and that he did something remarkable.

» Dislikes: He dislikes being stagnant. He is on a never-ending journey of discovery and cannot stand the feeling of being stuck somewhere. If he feels like he isn’t going anywhere or accomplishing anything, this puts a serious damper on his mood.
Neptune does not like ugly noises. Being a gifted singer, he is very particular about how things sound, and he probably cringes more than others at the ugliest noises.
Neptune hates it when he feels ignored. He wants everyone to listen to what he has to say and the stories he must share. He becomes extremely irritable when Pokémon ignore him.

» History: Where he comes from, Neptune does not know. Did his biological parents purposely place his egg in the Hidden Abyss? Maybe some thief took him and then dropped him into the dark place. These thoughts have plagued his curious mind. When he emerged from his egg, Neptune looked around for signs of the ones who were supposed to love him and care for him. The faces that would guide him through the ocean and show him the ways of the world were nowhere to be found.
The baby Lapras sat and waited on the floor of the abyss for days, hoping that maybe his parents would come back, thinking they had just left temporarily. He cried out and sang beautiful strings of notes to let his parents know that he was there and that he was ready to meet them. Whenever he sang, they never came. Eventually someone did come. Two Pokémon actually. A Milotic and a Primarina swam down to baby Neptune after hearing his song.
“Are you okay? Where are your parents?” the beautiful serpent asked him. The Primarina called the Milotic by name.
“Victoria, look…..” the Primarina pointed to the remains of Neptune’s egg. Worry sat into the faces of the two Pokémon and the Lapras could feel their worry which made him nervous.
“Oh no…. Ariel, we can’t just leave him here, he’s just a baby.” The couple seemed to already know that Neptune’s parents would not be returning. The two swam a short distance away to talk, Neptune could not understand their whispers. After a few short minutes, the two came back to the lonely Lapras.
“Well, you can’t stay here by yourself,” Ariel said to him “why don’t you come with us to our home? We have a daughter you can play with and it is a safe place for you!”
“And maybe someday we will be able to find your parents, and if not, we will be your mothers.” Victoria told him in a calm manner.
There was something comforting about the two that Neptune could not deny. He felt a connection to these Pokémon, and he wanted that connection to last. His feelings of nervousness transformed into feelings of hope and joy. After being alone in the dark abyss, he finally saw the faces of the two Pokémon he would call Mama (Victoria) and Mimi (Ariel). He left the abyss with these two and was brought to the beautiful Rainfront Town where he would grow up.
He met his brand-new sister, Aurora, who was just a Popplio at this time. The very next day he received his name, Neptune. The family all seemed to think it suit him. He felt lucky to be in such a loving environment and to have somewhere he could call home. However, as time goes on, Neptune will always wonder where his biological parents went. Maybe this is where his curious nature comes from. While he searches the unknown depths of the ocean and the expansive land, he may very well be searching for answers for the mystery that is his ancestry.
He has had a few mini adventures that were able to entertain him, and even a bigger expedition accompanied with his sister that lead to their discovery of an egg which was then brought home and hatched. The Chinchou that emerged immediately became Neptune’s baby brother. This discovery built an excitement in Neptune and a desire to go out and see more of the world. He wants to see what other mysteries and adventures await him beyond Rainfront Town and how he can make his mark on the world. Perhaps even find and meet his biological parents. His adoptive parents conclude that nothing will ever satisfy this Lapras’ curious nature.

» Other: Neptune has a dream of someday opening his own guild in the ocean so that water-type Pokémon, especially those who cannot leave the sea, can have their own adventures as well.

Sorry, your Character Bio cannot be approved due to the following reasons:

1.) NATURAL FEATS

This is small and not my main reason for denying the application, but add a feat mentioning your character's ability. This is mostly to show you aren't planning to portray the ability in some problematic way.

2.) PERSONALITY

Lapras as a species are noted to be extremely compassionate and empathetic, but not naturally curious adventurers. It's fine for your character to be like that, but there's nothing to indicate that's the natural default setting of his species.

3.) UNDA DA SEA

There is one glaring issue that needs to be addressed before I can approve this character. You're aware that making your first character a lapras means the majority of areas on the site will be inaccessible to him, right? You'll be restricted to the aquatic environments, of which we currently don't have a particularly large amount, until you get another character. You mention him venturing onto land in his personality and history, which is, to be blunt, a bit ridiculous. As a lapras, he'd struggle to do so much as move on land and wouldn't be able to accomplish much more than getting himself stuck on a beach. He would need some kind of move to help him realistically traverse land, and you'd have to get staff approval before applying something like that.
