| I'm back only to notice that all of who I know that might not think that I'm a bit... off, except Mada, haven't been on for a week at the least. I wonder what's happened, but not really.
I'm going to go someplace else, unless something occurs here that puts it back on the list of Pokemon Roleplay sites that are still active. It's marked dead on multiple sites, despite how this place is still actually going. It might just be based on the content your serving as almost all pmd roleplay sites are dead despite having a group or two still on it aswell, except 2 which have full blown communities. but they have humans as canon and, well, meh.
-------
Don't put my character up for adoption. I might be back... just, maybe. Depends on those I know and/or if things happen here. (I'm still not saying this place is actually dead. I'm just not feeling it like I should, for very specific reasons. :P

| Well, if my repeated rebounds and returns to this site are any indication, its that this forum has large periods of inactivity due to most of its members still being in school. So until the last official day of school, I don't think we can expect another resurgence of activity. That being said, the forum has still had frequent flare ups of activity over the last 7 months.
Luckily, PMD is such an enticing concept that people are still coming back, though I suspect the site suffers from lack of new members, simply because the approval process is so complex. But that -does- weed out all but the most dedicated of writers. It's a double-edged sword, really. We have quality roleplays going, but most of them never get finished. Least in my experience anyway.
Right now I'm just in a creative block when it comes to Pokemon writing, myself. Which is why I've been inactive, but I still check in periodically. You could do the same if you want. ^^ | |

| I'm in no writer's block. No where close. I have written down nearly 40 different characters and a mini world in which my lonely self has made. ...and the activity of this site is pretty obvious after being here for about 2 years, school sucks.
I'm just not feeling that this site allows what I tend to Roleplay. (They have ears everywhere. XP) | |

| Any site that's marked us as 'dead' has absolutely no idea what qualifies as a 'dead' site, since there needs to be a lack of reoccurring people, posts, and newbies in order for it to be dead. There's been well over 10 members online within the past 24 hours, we haven't gone more than a week without any posts period, and we still get newbies incoming at least a few times a month. We're not dead, we're just not popular and small. I hope you're able to find what you need elsewhere though. | |

| Aye, Aye!
I know that, which is why I said that I know you guys are not dead. I actually find it funny, but seriously though, they probably upped the requirements to be "Active" due to the amount of sites with similer to this site's population... I'm seriously unsure of how to word that properly... (the amount of posts per user on in the last 24 hours compared to the actual number of users?) I found a surprising amount of thread with groups still active but are either just as big or smaller than this site, (but waaaaay more hidden in searching, which doesn't help them)
(On a more 'meh' note, though...) You guys ARE the first 'pmd forum' on google's list. I'm surprised Your not booming in the fan-base. XD I mean the pokemon community is going ridiculously strong! (but just not on site's you'd expect. and yea, mst wouldn't be into text-based RPing just randomly on a random site. :c )
I really do like the structure of this place in comparison to the few that I found that didn't do "humans"... but they were also not exactly "PMD" though... and TBH, this site sortof feels a little off in the PMD side aswell, but that's mostly how the current peeps do their characters. I'm talking they do straight up Pokemon worlds.
When I figure out the difference between psmd and pmd1/2 and the like, (I really would keep the kiddish nature of pokemon but that's where I ket getting slapped, in my mind anyway.) If I get bored or something of the other sites, I'll more or less stop by and say hi... and see If I could try again. >u<;;
Getting slapped that hard after being honest with what I do really hurt... :c and I gotta pipe down on text emotes... TBH, again, I like scoldings better than judgements... but this is your place. If you got to do it again, I won't blame you. (...much... considering where im at. :l
aaaand now I'm making this long... and spaced the fudged out. I'll end it here. | |

Typically, only ONE warning is issued; however, we felt that maybe there was some miscommunications occurring and we tried to help clarify it with you. After repeated failed attempts to correct the issues, we started going through the official strikes. If you read the rules once more, you will find we have a written policy on how long bans are when they are issued through strikes. I hope you understand that we are not trying to alienate you from the site. However, if one cannot follow the rules, action has to be taken. ----------------- Anyways, regardless of the the reasons for your departure. I wish you the best of luck. Hope you come back to visit us again. | |

You... uh... deleted the post. Which was the whole thread, actually. It was the LookingForGroup thing. It said how I tend to veiw the roleplaying stuff. I figured the official stuff happened because of that thread. Also, I'm used to Forums being community based and not so mmo-ish. I haven't seen such... um... WORDS! Authoritive... Restrictive... I can't really find the right word. It's like I joined a group in D&D that accepts new peeps but if they can't keep up, the world trolls them. I'm not saying the users who were already here, I'm saying the environment. It's actually pretty common once things hit Lvl6, 12, and 18 (or 30, 60, 80 in pokemon I suppose), due to the extreme level differences and start of legendary items. The only other thing I did that day would be the berry suggestion. I'm use to seeing it give 100 in PSMD instead of 10 in the main game. It just felt weird till it was explained. I facepalmed to myself after that. Not much to talk about in this subject, it was just my mind being the usual idiot. I literally can't help that, I've tried on multitudes of levels, and even asked but been ultimately denied in a rather bad way. When it comes to authority figures... I don't mind being told 'no' but I also expect a point in the right direction before something happens. Bluek-- Rex has been fun. I'm just incredibly nervous I'd do another F*** up somewhere if I even try to RP here. I'd ask to RP with one of you guys but I'm not as realistic. :P - This was pretty much the stuff that I thought gave me that month off:
I THINK like the anime; I see things like the anime. I can't get that out of my head, when it comes to Pokemon. I've seen the pokedex entries, most of them are so broken when looked side by side to others. Most would distroy the world if used in such a realistic way, and alot of them don't even need to evolve to do it. Elgyem being one, Beheeyem being the top in my top 10 that can screw with anyone's character in a RP. (I stay away from these kinds of characters, or I try to hinder them to balance it out... Because abra's final evolution in it's mega form is another top in my top ten... of ultimate FUs in RPs)
I mean, I can definitely RP with Pokemon in a normal manner but some Dex entries influence the behavior of pokemon which just screws up my way of thinking. Gengar being the only one to stick out... mega-gengar being another top 10 to ruining any one character in a RP. (I laughed at Whiscash as that one would not be fun to be with.)
If I went with only the dex entries, the physical shape of a character gets seemingly ignored... *the tail of a Kecleon can do the same stuff as the tongue, and they can climb walls... IF the structure itself is soft/supports the idea. IE: wooden beams/scaffolding, despite no real description to the structure to go off of. I think of the guild as like PSMD's but if I went by the PMD guild, a kecleon could grip the cieling because of VINES!* but if I go against the dex entries I end up in trouble, I get super confused trying to pick a side. XP
I'm not actually complaining, I love figuring things out, including my own behavior... I've taken so many different kinds of medical drugs because of my parents trying to fix my behavior at a young age (BEFORE ASPERGERS) that I cannot remember half my school years. I ultimately stopped taking the the moment I reach 18 of age. So Yes, if I act under 13 I have a reason... sortof. I really can't help it. You'd need to see what I mean to know. I don't care though, if you need to do something, by all means do it. It's just rather disappointing.
I'm just not used to things here, and without actual help on figuring out how things are to be played... I'll need to get used to my characters' cans and cants elsewhere. | |

| If you would like more information on exactly what happened for your bans, please contact an administrator for that information. It will not be discussed any further in this thread.
Some of our staff have experience with the type of disability that you have mentioned. It is definitely understood that your disability has almost no effect on ones written communication if the writer stopped to review their own message.
I will say though, having any disability is no excuse for not following the rules. If anything, contacting a staff member privately and mentioning that you may have difficulty with something due to a disability would have helped you in the long run before all this nonsense had happened.
For example, if you had informed staff about your particular disability before you began participating on the site fully; we could have provided at least some assistance for you. | |

| Alright, this is just sad. For anyone who's curious, Yooka constantly neglects to follow the rules and provokes staff members whenever he doesn't get his way, and he is conscious of all of it. He has Asperger's and blames it for all the "misunderstandings," as he calls them; and for the record, that specific disorder is not a valid excuse for this kind of behavior at all, but even if it were, we still couldn't allow someone to go around doing whatever they want. He ignores the rules and acts as if they don't apply to him, then makes excuses and gets aggressive and immature when he gets in trouble for it. He's leaving because his next ban is permanent and he doesn't want to behave, and I can't imagine he'll find a place lenient enough for him not to get banned there too, let alone one that's worth going to. He is not a victim or a pity case, and I'm sure he understands all of this, but I want to make sure anyone reading this thread understands as well. The post he mentioned being deleted was one in which he was openly expressing his negligence to the site's rules and simply stating his constant rule-breaking as a matter of "preference," as if following the written rules and listening to the admins is optional. He then encouraged other people to act the same way, and after his long list of offenses, that's where the line finally had to be drawn.
He's honestly been given far more chances than anyone is supposed to get, and he met the requirements for a ban a long time ago. We all tried to help him time and time again, but he just doesn't seem to care.
Sorry, couldn't stand watching everyone so scared to really say anything here. The only thing stopping him from staying out of trouble is that he can't handle the word "no." I don't know if he seriously doesn't care or just has no idea what it means, but that doesn't change that he causes too many problems to keep track of and outright refuses to behave. We can't let that kind of behavior go just because he has a disorder and wants to blame everything on it. Again, even if it were true that there's something seriously wrong with him that makes him incapable of behaving (and it's not), we can't make someone exempt from the rules and let them literally do whatever they want and act however they want. There's no world where that would be fair. | |

| The word I was looking for was "filtered" I'm going with Coaster's word on this one. End the thread and I'll try the PM thing again from here on. (Looking at my first post ever aswell as my introduction thread. I guess I didn't say anything about it, and I utterly failed to express myself correctly. https://pmd-roleplay.forumotion.org/t5404-hmm-what-to-do ) Mr EVs response was extremely unnecessary, I'm not leaving and I did find a site. I'm just unsure if it'll really help me figure out how to RP in your type of playing, the PM thing continues to bug me for some reason. (EV's post was like a last minute word to insult me, or something, after coaster said the thread was ending or ended. I'm just giving a response saying I'll give the PM thing another shot. It's that type of attitude that makes me nervous and question what to really do. Like right now if I should give my response or just PM this to Coaster instead. Seriously, and I'll say this again, sortof, If this isn't allowed then just delete the post! It's not like the PM would make much of a difference outside of Lord EV not seeing my response, and yes the other site also said the same things as EVs... but they told me a few things I could do to prevent that.) I do care. I did after EVs started doing what he just did now a long while ago. It's just how your taking my words now. I'm NOT trying to be aggressive or offensive right now. | |

| I actually find Lord E V's response to be 100% accurate and true. As I have said in my last post, you should have mentioned the issue earlier so that we could have better assisted you with any miscommunications. However, you failed to do so and have now paid the cost of that mistake. You are extremely fortunate that you have not been permanently banned already.
Now regarding what I meant by messaging me in pm about the bans. Technically, EV had struck the main point of the matter. | |
