Got Milk?

"Milk! Get ya' milk here! Fresh every day!" Maryam shouted over the bustling crowd before her. Today was an unusually slow day for her, having only sold a few jars as time to close up shop fast approached. She desperately tried to think of some way to attract more customers. "Special offer! Today only! Add yer' own berries for free!" ... Nothing. She couldn't tell if no one was interested, or if they just couldn't hear her. 'Probably the latter,' she thought to herself. "... Hopefully the latter." she mumbled under her breath.

A half hour had passed and still no luck. She could see the crowd slowly grow thinner as Pokemon finished up their shopping and headed home for the day. There was still hope, but not much.

Mille stood for a moment, glancing upwards toward the sky as she double checked her mental timetable for anything else she had planned for next Monday. When she came up with nothing, she turned her Amber gaze back towards Maryam with a grin.

"I'm pretty sure Monday afternoon works for me!" She confirmed with an idle flick of her tail, "I'll close my stall a little earlier so I have time to clean up. We could meet in the square? Near the big fountain?" She suggested. The fountain was pretty big so one couldn't miss is, even if they didn't know where it actually was, so Mille figured it would be a good landmark.

"I'll be relying on you to lead the way to Pecha Forest though," Mille added, sounding a little sheepish, "I'd heard of it before, but I haven't had chance to go there myself yet or see where it is, so all of it will be new to me..."

"Alright!" she almost shouted but caught herself. "Yep, meetin' near the fountain works for me! I'll be sure to clean up early too." She said, pausing and looking at the sky as it started to dawn a more orange hue. "Speakin' of, I should get cleanin' myself!" She started to put the unsold jars of milk into her makeshift refrigeration unit.

As she finished she turned her attention back to Mille. "Oh of course! I know the way by heart. Don't you worry Sugar, we'll be sure to get there without a hitch!" she smiled reassuringly at Mille, knowing for a fact that Monday will be fun.
