First topic message reminder :

[Energy: 19 (Base) - 10 = 9 left]

It was a simple day outside of Rainfront Town... Wingull were flying above the ocean, while many fish were swimming underwater. Among the fish, however, was an Oshawott. His name was Tempo, and he usually spent his spare time exploring the ocean, even though he couldn't stay under forever. Like other water types, it was go to place when he just needed to feel free from the responsibilities of the world.

The Coral Forests was basically a location originally thought to only be imagined in dreams, too! It amazed him by just how many colorful pieces of coral were surrounding him... He's glad to be a water type, thus allowing him to dive to this place...

After swimming around the beautiful coral forest for a bit longer, he felt his chest tingle a bit, and his lungs begging for air. He has been under for a while, so another breath wouldn't hurt. He attempted to swim out of the forest, but he realized that he was lost, with no easy way to escape... ~No... Please... Don't let me be trapped in here...~ The otter thought to himself, panicking... He was rather weak, so breaking through the coral wasn't an option... All he could do was wait for some other Pokémon to notice his predicament... or for the water to take his life... "Someone... Please, help me..." He cried out, in a desperate tone...

Hearing Sy agreeing to it, he suddenly felt a little woozy, and all of a sudden, his mind focused on her... She seemed to be doing the thing that she did to the Kingdra, which meant it's most likely happening to him, too... He suddenly giggles a bit... "You know... I never noticed this about you... You're kinda cute, you know that?" Tempo said, seemingly lovestruck...

In another part of his mind, he couldn't believe how this happened! How in the world could a Pokémon cause someone to fall for it? He never saw anyone on the beach or in the ocean use such a technique before... But this seemed like an excellent experience for him... But he doesn't know how long it will last...

Tempo seemed to have grabbed a tight hold of Sy's back, almost like he was hugging her... In fact, he was hugging her! "S... So, Sy..." He said, the nickname suddenly becoming more awkward in context. "How about we explore... together?" He said...

PostSubject: Re: An Otter in Distress   An Otter in Distress - Page 3 EmptyFri Jun 02, 2017 1:31 am

The vaporeon's enchanting words seemed to have an immediate effect, and suddenly, Tempo was no longer home. Sy'rin barely had a grasp on the moral ideal of free will, but she at least understood it well enough to know she wasn't supposed to do such things to friends. Or at least, she didn't like to, as it made them act... unauthentic. However, since Tempo was now being very affectionate, she figured she would just enjoy it while it lasted. After all, the oshawott had specifically asked for this, so there was surely nothing wrong with making the best of the situation. "We... were already doing that," she responded, trying not to say anything offensive about her friend's sub-intelligent behavior even though she figured it probably wouldn't matter even if she did.

Of course, having Tempo be partially braindead for this venture would be a bit of a drawback, but other than that, it seemed like a good deal. He would presumably be unconditionally friendly and happy, at least toward Sy'rin, which meant she didn't have to worry about any more weird situations with him getting mad at her for no reason. With the one drawback of dulling the oshawott's mind a little, there seemed to be no drawbacks to this situation. In fact, it seemed so good that Sy'rin couldn't help but contemplate... extending it. But she quickly suppressed the thought, figuring the infatuation would last long enough for her to get more than enough enjoyment out of it anyway. She still didn't know how long it would last, but she at least knew it generally lasted long enough to get a fight over with, which was plenty of time.

Since Tempo was already latched onto her in an overly affectionate hug, Sy'rin decided to simply start swimming in no direction in particular. She made sure not to back downward, wanting to avoid the depths in general after what had happened last time. Plus, she now had an ally with... some immediate issues, which meant he would probably be just a bit distracted in a fight. That was another downside to this situation: fighting would be marginally more difficult. However, this simply meant they would need to avoid fights, and while Sy'rin wasn't the greatest at this, she figured it would be easier with a Tempo who was basically enslaved to her and thus would listen to her every word. Or... alternatively, maybe he would just keep hugging her and completely tune out the world around him. The vaporeon's purple form swam elegantly through the water toward a section of the forest the two had yet to explore, easily carrying her friend along with her due to how adept her body naturally was in an aquatic environment.

"Oh... We were already exploring, huh? I guess I was too busy being distracted by your beauty..." Tempo said in an affectionate tone, clearly not aware of what he's saying, but he doesn't care... His lovestruck state made it that way, of course!

Despite his current condition, however, he seemed to notice Sy wasn't diving into the depths of the ocean... "Hey, Sy... Why aren't we heading down into the depths? Wouldn't our beautiful time together in this beauty of a forest be more interesting if we were deeper into the ocean?" He said, as if asking her out on a date... It seemed strange doing this, but that must be what Attract does to Pokémon...

Something else that's strange is the Oshawott's lack of attention to something that's important to his life: Air. At this point, he would've already started feeling a bit of discomfort, but it seems like his mind is completely taken over by the elegant pink Vaporeon... He felt like could stay down here forever...

Sy'rin wasn't surprised in the slightest at the oshawott's behavior, as she already knew the gist of how this infatuation made those affected act, but she couldn't help but find his words a bit funny. He wasn't much of a poet, using variants of the word "beauty" an awful lot, but it was flattering nonetheless. Even though she knew it was all fake, she still enjoyed the compliments. She was fine with fake and fun, which as perhaps a rare trait. She just didn't care much whether things were fantasy or reality, especially after actually getting into a fantasy. With how this was going so far, she almost wished to prolong it, but there were a few reasons that told her that wouldn't be a good thing. The most important of those reasons was that in this state, Tempo probably wouldn't be very capable of defending himself.

The vaporeon looked down into the depths as she thought about how to respond to the currently handicapped oshawott's question. "Last time we went down there, you got kidnapped, remember? We can just stick to the higher levels for now," she explained, feeling weird having to be the voice of reason. Her role was generally to be a follower, not a leader and certainly not a thinker, so this situation was a bit odd for her. Aside from that, she wasn't particularly good at being the reasonable one, and she knew this fact about herself. Still, the cost of this... interesting experience was that she would have to think both for herself and for Tempo. "Besides, there's just as much to do up here," she continued, not bothering to attempt to explain Tempo's situation to him.

Speaking of sights in the safe zone, Sy'rin had managed to spot a particular section of the forest that seemed to be particularly overgrown with coral, making what looked like a beautiful maze, at least from the outside. It was just a bit further ahead and lower down, but it was still in the light, so it seemed fine. "Like that," she raised her left paw to point toward the area she had found, though she didn't know if Tempo was even paying attention. Without waiting for an answer, she started off toward this fun-looking little spot, her entire attention span suddenly being drawn toward it. In the process, she was also forgetting to keep an eye on her friend...

(But those are the ones you rolled. I didn't think I could use those...)

The infatuated Oshawott listened to Sy's explanation of why they weren't going to dive under. "Kidnapped, huh? Well, that won't really matter when you're here, now will it?" Tempo replied... He listened to Sy as she pointed to another location in the forest, and it caught the attention of the Oshawott.

"It looks like a cute hangout spot..." Tempo said, and saw Sy dart towards the location she pointed to. Tempo follows in hot pursuit, not wanting to lose the girl he was madly in love with... at least for now. He swam ahead of Sy and turned around to look at her. He made a cute face and stared intently at her, but his face seemed blue from a lack of air, but he seemed too busy being infatuated to start drowning. He still seemed to be in pain, however...

An Otter in Distress - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: An Otter in Distress   An Otter in Distress - Page 3 EmptyWed Jun 07, 2017 7:03 am

Sy'rin sighed at the oshawott's continuous oblivious behavior, though it wasn't quite a sigh of frustration. She was wondering it the flattery was really worth having to tolerate... everything else about this situation. Most of it was easy enough to simply repress, so she decided that yes, it was worth it. She stopped as Tempo swam in front of her, simply staring at him as he remarked on how the area she had picked out would be a cute hangout spot. She didn't quite see how the area was "cute," but she was in agreement on it seeming good to hang out in, hence why she had chosen such an area in the first place. It seemed like it would potentially be very fun, though she hadn't chosen it for any reason related to it seeming cute, and she didn't entirely understand how an environment could even be described as such. She thought some pokemon were cute, like oshawott, but environments didn't have any adorable eyes or tiny bodies or... animation, so there wasn't much that could be said about their inherent cuteness.

She stared at the hopelessly lovestruck oshawott, about to respond in semi-agreement when she noticed something a bit... off about him. She tilted her head to the right as she stared, noticing the furry little critter's state seemed to be a bit... off. He seemed perfectly content, yet still, he looked similar to... well, someone suffocating. Sy'rin knew how suffocation looked, but she was used to seeing it coupled with fear, or perhaps with no emotion at all if the victim was unconscious. It reminded her of death, which should have given her some concern for her new friend's life, but instead, it simply made her... interested. The emotion faded from her face as she stared absentmindedly, lost in thought about how she wanted to see Tempo's current state continue. There was something about seeing someone in a dying state that made them appear distinctly better, at least to Sy'rin, and in this case, the one struggling also seemed to be enjoying it.

Actually, he wasn't "struggling" at all, apparently very accepting of what was happening to him. So, surely, it was not within the vaporeon's rights to attempt to help him if he did not want to be helped. In fact, perhaps it was in order to assist him further down his current path; perhaps the "correct" thing to do was to help him get what he clearly wanted. This was simply a passing thought at first, but she had become hung up on it, finding it increasingly difficult to think about anything else. The more she thought about how Tempo appeared to be drowning himself, the more she simply thought about... drowning him.

Then, a sudden spiraling current of water snapped her out of the haze she was falling into. The spiral seemed to be pulling the water downward, prompting her to look down toward the source only to find what appeared to be a larger version of the seadra from earlier as the culprit. She wasn't entirely sure what this thing's name was, but she knew it was the evoltuion of seadra, or at least, she assumed as much. It seemed to be sucking the water down toward it, somehow with enough force to create a whirlpool! "Tempo, swim up!" she shouted before taking her own advice. Or at least, she attempted to, but it the whirlpool was proving to be a difficult obstacle to overcome. She was managing to slowly inch herself upward through the pulling force, but how would Tempo face under the same circumstances? After all, his body wasn't quite built as well for swimming, he wasn't in the best state of mind, and his appearance suggested he was low on air.

Sy'rin was beginning to get the feeling she would need to do something in order to ensure the safety of her friend, and fast.

(You can use whatever you want as long as you have the permission of the person who rolled it. Feel free to use any pokemon I rolled. But I just used the kingdra so there's that.)

An Otter in Distress - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: An Otter in Distress   An Otter in Distress - Page 3 EmptyWed Jun 07, 2017 2:18 pm

His pain got to the point that not even his infatuation could distract his mind from it... Though usually when it gets to this point of pain and discomfort, it usually means if he doesn't get a breath now, it won't end well for him, but his infatuation might buy him another minute or two...

Something started to pull on Tempo, as well... A whirlpool caused by what seemed to be the evolution of Seadra was pulling him down! It seems like Sy'rin is able to keep herself up, but Tempo, despite being able to keep up with her normally, is too weak from breatholding... His body needs fresh oxygen in order to work properly, and without that, he's a sitting Ducklett... Soon, he's sucked to the Kingdra, and he was smacked to the coral...

...causing him to inhale...

He chokes on the water his body wasn't built to breathe, and panics... With his fading vision, he finds Sy once again... Attempting to swim back to her, and, while begging for his "love's" help, he passes out... It's far from his first black out during a dive, allowing his body to sort of adapt, so he has some time to get some fresh air before he dies...

He saw a Carracosta before he blacked out, though, and it dragged him to Sy and put him on her back before swimming off... What he didn't see was him pointing to what appeared to be a cave... Carracosta can't breathe underwater, either, so could he be pointing to an air pocket?

An Otter in Distress - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: An Otter in Distress   An Otter in Distress - Page 3 EmptySun Jun 11, 2017 2:41 am

Sy'rin had failed to pay enough attention to her surroundings to notice Tempo being sucked in toward the seahorse, but when the whirlpool suddenly began to die down, her attention was drawn to the scene. The large aquatic creature had ceased its previous attack to swat the oshawott, and it seemed to be enough to completely knock him out. But why had such a weak hit been enough to do him in? Was the thing really that strong, or... Suddenly, Sy'rin remembered a very important detail about Tempo: he was drowning. "Right, that's probably it..." she muttered to herself, still being a bit inappropriately nonchalant. She rushed down toward toward the unconscious oshawott to grab him and drag him back to the surface, but she was pulled off her course by another whirlpool from the sea dragon. She took in a deep breath and fired out a beam of freezing energy toward the foe, causing the water along its path to freeze. The kingdra was struck in the chest, unable to avoid the beam, its body frozen partially thanks to the water around it.

Sy'rin turned her attention back to her friend in need only to find he was being... delivered to her? Apparently, some random bystander had decided to help a bit. She decided to meet the large turtle halfway, picking up her unconscious cargo with an inappropriately cheery "Thanks!" The turtle then pointed toward... somewhere before swimming off, neglecting to say anything. "Man, the locals here really aren't very talkative," the vaporeon muttered to herself as she tried to figure out what the helpful individual had been pointing to. It took her a moment, but she managed to notice there was a cave in the general direction she had been pointed toward, so she assumed that was supposed to somehow help. Looking back at the partially frozen dragon, she doubted she would be able to get all the way back up to the surface with it around, which meant her only option was to head to the cavern for protection.

Sy'rin bit onto the oshawott's scruff to ensure she wouldn't lose him as she darted off in the direction of the cave. It didn't take her long at all to reach her destination now that she had proper motivation, and as she neared the entrance to the cave, she saw that it seemed to go upward. More importantly, she could see the surface of the water, meaning there was a safe area inside where Tempo would be able to breathe! The vaporeon took off toward the inside of the cavern, but just as she did, she felt the water pulling her back once more. She gasped, causing her to release Tempo from the hold of her mouth as she realized the assailant had freed itself already. She was beginning to exhaust herself from all the swimming, making it more difficult to fight off the whirlpool, but she still managed to grab onto the oshawott once more to ensure he wouldn't be pulled in again.

Sy'rin knew she couldn't overpower the pull of the whirlpool, and the serious nature of the situation was beginning to dawn on her. In a desperate attempt to help her friend, she spun around and tossed him through the water and up into the cave with what felt like the last of her energy. Sadly, while she had managed to toss him to the outer edge of the whirlpool, it was still growing, and she hadn't thrown him quite far enough up. Seeing the oshawott lifelessly float in the water finally made her realize that he was going to die, and it was arguably her fault. She was fine with the idea of killing, but she didn't want someone so fun and nice to die, especially when she had barely gotten a chance to know him! But she needed not only to get him to the air, but also to somehow get the water out of his lungs... The violent intent that had previously clouded her mind began to return, and along with it, she now felt a certain... refusal to give into the situation. She took in a deep breath and exhaled, causing a pulse of force to ripple throughout the water in the direction of the oshawott. Without waiting to see the result, she repeated the process.

She fired yet a third pulse through the water, and at that point, she began to feel lightheaded. Thankfully, the first two pulses had knocked the oshawott far enough for the third one to fire him right out of the water. It would probably hurt him... a lot, but it was the only option, and the force of the attacks along with the inevitable hard landing he would have on the surface would hopefully be enough to knock some of the water out of his lungs. Sy'rin's vision began to blur as she drifted down toward the aquatic, dragon-like creature; she had exhausted herself trying to save her new friend. She closed her eyes and allowed herself to be dragged down toward the enemy, content with the current situation as long as it meant Tempo was alright.

...Then a thought ran through her head: what if he wasn't? What if she had just made a new friend, only for this glorified horsea to take him away from her? Her eyes shot open and her body instinctively camouflaged itself as she spun around to face the creature. The desire to inflict harm was still fresh in her mind, and now, she had an appropriate target to vent it on.

(Will Sy'rin reign victorious, or will she fall to the power of the kingdra? FIND OUT NEXT TIME ON POKEMON Z. I decided to cut the post off here to avoid making it overwhelmingly long.)

An Otter in Distress - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: An Otter in Distress   An Otter in Distress - Page 3 EmptySun Jun 11, 2017 11:36 am

Everything was dark... This feeling of drowning wasn't new to the poor Oshawott, as much as he doesn't like to admit, but it still scares him that... this might be his last dive before his death... He could barely feel Sy'rin grabbing him, but even though he's getting help, he doesn't know if she can get him to wake up in time...

He felt a pulse of water hit him, even in his unconscious state... And another one hits him... And another, but the third one managed to get him to cough up water... He begins to regain consciousness, once again, and get the breath he so desperately needed, but he's in immense pain from the Water Pulses... Plus, drowning has made him super weak... Afterwards, he checked under the water, once again, and saw Sy'rin fighting the Kingdra, once again... Despite drowning just a couple of seconds ago, though, he still seemed madly in love at Sy, and he knew he needed to help, somehow...

"C'mon, Tempo, think... What can I use around here to help Sy out?" He thought to himself. He checked his bag, but he didn't find anything useful in it... He can't take it on himself! What's he gonna do, tackle it to death? It would exhaust him, and it wouldn't even make a dent on it... After thinking for a while, he remembers he knows Assurance, so he should be able to help out a bit... He checked underwater, again, and saw Sy was gone... "H... Hello?" Tempo asked, worringly... Where could she have gone? But then he remembers their first meeting... She must've turned invisible, but he still worries for his love's safety... He dives under again and uses Assurance on the Kingdra.

An Otter in Distress - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: An Otter in Distress   An Otter in Distress - Page 3 EmptySat Jun 17, 2017 12:22 pm

(There's no logical way for Tempo to even reach the kingra to hit it with a contact attack, let alone get out afterward, and there's no way Sy'rin would stand by and let him try.  With that in mind...)

The foe grew focused as Sy'rin cloaked herself in the water.  It ceased its whirlpool, probably in confusion, but it didn't matter.  She knew she wouldn't be able to get close or land any hits without caution, but she was pretty sure she could manage.  All she needed to do was sneak close enough to the seahorse in order to get a good aim at it, then she could hopefully completely freeze it and reach Tempo in time.  She was fairly certain she wasn't actually strong enough to beat this opponent, but that didn't mean it was immune to freezing.  She just needed to hurry so she could get back to the oshawott and make sure he was alright.  Fortunately, the strategy she had in mind didn't require much time since she didn't have to actually beat the foe in order to "win," which meant she would hopefully be able to end it quickly.  She hoped there would be another way out of the cave, as she got the feeling that once she got inside, the sea dragon would wait for her to come back out.

Just as she began to creep slowly toward her target, she heard what was perhaps the worst thing to have heard in this situation: Tempo.  The little idiot was going to ruin her plan and get himself killed all at the same time!  She immediately bolted to intercept the oshawott before he could even near the opponent, prepared to get him to leave by force if necessary.  She didn't always take the lives of others seriously, but when she did, she was deadly serious.  "Tempo!" she exclaimed in a hushed tone as she neared the oshawott, trying to avoid letting her opponent know where she was while still making it clear that she was serious.  "Get out of here!  Go back to the cave where I left you!  You're just gonna get in my way!" she placed herself in front of the oshawott as she spoke, prepared to hit him with another water pulse if he tried to continue down toward the dangerous foe.  She remained cloaked, though, partially in the hope that it would ignore Tempo in favor of keeping an eye out for a greater threat.

The only sign of the vaporeon's form in the water was a slight violet shade to the "water" where she actually was.  It was a bit less perfect than what a normal vaporeon would have been capable of, but regardless, it was hard to notice even when close up, so she never worried much about it.  She just hoped Tempo would be able to figure out that it was her.  Otherwise, she intended to get him out of harm's way by any means necessary, even if that meant having to knock him out and drag him to safety.  Besides, for all she knew, he was still being affected by the infatuation, which meant there was a good chance he wouldn't even go willingly.  Either way, Sy'rin wasn't interested in wasting time trying to talk Tempo into listening to her, especially since she doubted the watchful enemy would let him simply sit there for long.

As the lovesick Oshawott tried to find and attack to Kingdra to save Sy'rin, he is suddenly grabbed by... nothing? It must've been his love, Sy... He hears her say to get out, as he might get himself killed trying to help. "You sure, Sy? What if he kills you instead... I can't just leave you..." He begins to say, but while he can't see her, he knows that Sy is being dead serious... "Alright, I'll head back..." He begins to swim back...

As he swam back inside, he couldn't help but worry about Sy'rin... What if SHE gets killed, instead? It's a possibility that Tempo didn't want to happen, but... he feels like her chances of survival will increase if he just hangs back and waits for her to finish the fight... Instead of just twiddling his paws, he decided to find a hidden part under the ocean and practice holding his breath... Plus, it gives him a good view of the action.

An Otter in Distress - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: An Otter in Distress   An Otter in Distress - Page 3 EmptyFri Jun 23, 2017 1:43 pm

Sy'rin sighed in relief that the love-struck idiot wasn't too out of it to at least listen to her. Assuming he would stay true to his word and stay out of the way, she turned her attention back to the opponent. Fortunately, she looked back just in time to notice its attention drifting toward the oshawott who had interrupted. "Great," she muttered as her body began to reveal itself, which may have seemed like a bad move, and it was. However, she had little choice since she needed to make sure her opponent stayed focused on her and ignored Tempo. It instantly began sucking in water, whipping up a whirlpool that threatened to drag the vaporeon in, to which she responded very minimally. Her body became cloaked in the water once more, but aside from that, she did nothing. In fact, she didn't even do so much as attempt to get out of the funnel of water, instead allowing it to pull her toward the foe.

The attacker seemed to have figured this trick out as it kept the whirlpool up even after its target had disappeared from view. It clearly knew she was still within, but this was just what she wanted. She couldn't actually fight it, and it was going to catch her eventually, so she figured she'd simply speed the process up. As the whirlpool drew her close, she opened her mouth in preparation to attack. She didn't expect to do a great deal of damage, but she had something else in mind. Her body revealed itself once more as she let loose a freezing, blue-hued beam, freezing the water along the short path to its target. Due to the close proximity, the foe was unable to react in time to move it, and thanks to the water around it, it began to freeze instantly. However, the beam was also freezing the water around Sy'rin, threatening to take her in its icy grip as well. She continued her assault nonetheless, aiming to freeze her opponent as thoroughly as possible before she would stop.

As the ice reached her and began to freeze her paws, she finally stopped her attack, though by this point, the opponent and the water around it had been frozen solid. The vaporeon easily pulled her paws out of the ice gripping them thanks to their watery structure, then darted over to the once-dangerous heap of ice as quick as she could. She placed all four of her paws against it as it slowly drifted downward, then pushed off of it, sending if down even faster. She doubted this would hold the attacker long, but it would hopefully be long enough to get very far away from it. Without wasting even a moment, she took off in no direction in particular. "Come on, Tempo!" she called out for the oshawott as she swam, though she doubted he would have dared to stray far from her with the state he was in.

Sy'rin looked back but once as she swam, just in time to see the frozen seahorse land on top of a large outcropping of coral, on top of a rather odd pile of rocks. When these rocks suddenly pushed the icy structure off of them, got up and started hitting it, however, she realized it was actually a barbaracle. This meant the opponent would likely be freed from its prison a bit sooner than anticipated, but at the same time, it would also have something to distract it for a while, so she was satisfied with this outcome.

All Tempo did was simply stay back from the action to avoid getting hurt... or worse... The battle was an amazing sight, honestly! Watching the Vaporeon outwitting the Kingdra with clever movements... it only made Tempo love Sy'rin more...

Once the battle was seemingly over, Tempo was called over to Sy'rin. He swims as fast as he could towards the graceful Vaporeon. "That battle was amazing, Sy!" He complimented! During their escape, Tenpo suddenly lost her lovey dovey feelings for her. Admittedly, it was fun while it lasted, but he's glad to have full control over himself, again.

After he snapped out of his lovesick state, he checked behind him to see the Kingdra frozen and a Barbaracle seemingly trying to get it out of its frozen prison. Needing to get out of there before they attack again, Tempo began kicking forward at a quicker pace, letting go of Sy'rin.

Sy'rin looked over to her little friend with a cheery grin in response to the compliment. Regardless of whether it was genuine or due to the infatuation, a compliment was still a compliment, and she adored attention even if it was fake. The intense situation from mere moments prior was already behind her thanks to her unstable emotions, and now all she cared about was the attention she was receiving. Well, that and making sure Tempo was safe. She had decided this place was a bit too dangerous for the oshawott, or at the very least, it was too dangerous for her to be asked to protect him. She wasn't particularly strong and certainly wasn't qualified to be a guardian, so she wanted to get him out of the area. She didn't like having to deal with the chore of watching out for someone else. Plus, with the constant interruptions, the forest of coral was becoming less and less fun by the minute.

The vaporeon got one last look at the scenery as she swam toward the surface, spotting a few familiar pokemon swimming along a bit further down. There was a seadra and a skrelp, from the looks of it, but they weren't bothering anyone. There was also a pink, heart-shaped little fish in the distance, but she didn't remember the name of that one. Seeing peaceful passerby here and there amongst the beautiful environment almost made her want to stay, but she had seen enough of the area already and was about ready to head out. "We should probably get going soon. We've almost died enough times for one day, and I dunno about you, but I've satisfied my urge for sightseeing," she spoke, voicing her opinion on the matter. It wasn't like she could force Tempo to leave, nor was she interested in trying to, but she did want to get out of the area. She wasn't afraid by any means, but it was becoming a chore when her goal had been to relax.

She wasn't sure where her next goal would be, as she had a tendency to simply wander until she found something interesting enough to captivate her attention. Still, she wasn't against the idea of coming across this entertaining oshawott again in the future... though hopefully not in an aquatic environment. Having to constantly save someone from drowning was not something she fancied. She didn't exactly plan to seek him out; she felt no particularly deep connection to him, though this was typical for her. Still, though, she had enjoyed his company thus far, at least for the most part.

(Well, that's all the pokemon handled. We'll have a page after your post. How 'bout we end the thread there? Seems like a good spot.)

(Sounds good!)

Tempo swam with the pink Vaporeon to the surface, as well. He didn't want to die, today. Arceus knows he nearly did about three times, already... As much as he loves to swim, even he has his limits, and he's starting to become exhausted. Sy'rin seems to agree with him, too, as she says that she's done enought sightseeing for the day... as little as they really did, honestly... Seeing some of the Pokémon nearby reminded him of bad times in his adventure with Sy'rin, but at least he gets to live another day. Plus, he has a new friend! He also sees a cute little Luvdisc. He's glad he didn't encounter it during his... love trance...

As he breached the surface, he pants a bit to get some air and swims to shore. "Thanks for joining me on this swim, by the way." Tempo says to his new friend. "If you're up for it... maybe we can hang out again, together!" He seems cheerful, despite... well, nearly dying. "You'll know where to find, me, I'll bet..." Tempo heads off towards a cave near the beach. His home, so to speak, as dark and depressing as it is.
