» Personality: Tempo calls himself an explorer of the ocean, mainly because he spends most of his free time swimming around some body of water, though others may see him as either a daredevil or just downright crazy... A seemingly very brave Oshawott, he is never seen backing down from a challenge. Unfortunately, this makes him seem reckless, and usually ends badly... He's also a Pokémon who helps someone in need when they're in trouble.
» Likes:
-Swimming: He's a water type, so swimming is a must. However, his love for the water is enough to even rival most water types, and calls himself an expert freediver.
-Music: When he's not in the water, he usually spends his time listening to someone playing music or singing some of his own.
-Exploring the Unknown: This otter can be quite curious, sometimes, and will not pass up the opportunity to explore somehwere he's never visited.
» Dislikes:
-Drowning: Despite his expert swimming skills, he's still not a fish. He can hold his breath for about 12 minutes, but unfortunately, due to his reckless nature, he's nearly drowned more times than he would like to admit...
-Being Trapped: His brave nature makes him end up in plenty of dangerous situations, all of which are scary to him, and would hate to end up in one that will kill him.
-Being Useless: He loves to help out others, but if he's forced to watch someone get hurt without any way to help, it will crush him...
» History: Ever since he was a child, he was always interested in the world around him. Not even his parents, a Samurott and a Floatzel, could stop him from exploring the world, no matter the dangers. However, this led to trouble during a walk on the beach, where a Dratini challenged him to swim to the end of a cave. He knew he couldn't back down from a swimming challenge, and dives into the cave, unaware of his limits. He barely made it halfway before he couldn't hold his breath any longer, and blacked out... His parents saved him, but he insisted on diving into the cave again to prove that he could reach the end, resulting in his persistent nature. With some breathold training (originally 5 minutes, when he was young) and some swimming technique practice, he eventually reached the end of the cave, and the Dratini gave Tempo a music note charm as a reward. When the two swam out of the cave, the Dratini was attacked by a Walrein, mercilessly killing it while Tempo just stood and watched in horror, before drowning, once again... A rescue team was dispatched, and defeated the Walrein and rescued Tempo, but after that day, he vowed that he will save any Pokémon in danger, no matter how powerful his opponent is...
» Other: The purple music note charm he recieved from the Dratini is attached to his scalchop.
