Pokémon: Rise of Novrii

In 20XX, scientists and engineers have worked together to create a Star-smasher; it "smashes" a star, then harvests the materials within it. Civilization flourished from the new availability of the previously "rare" metals. However, with this burst of positives came a crippling negative.

The Millennium Comet was destroyed during a recent smash; the comet's destruction disturbed Jirachi's natural cycle, putting it into a rage. Along with this, another legendary, Novrii was discovered.

During Jirachi's rage, it began attacking the people that had developed the Star-Smasher. Novrii felt indebted to the people that had awakened it, so in-order to protect them, it began searching for candidates to defend them. However, it didn't search for the most powerful trainers; it looked for those strong of heart. Powerful trainers would just kill Jirachi; the others would quell the rage, and return Jirachi to it's sleep.

A shady character with a cloak stands in a stone temple, staring at an etched drawing of an unfamiliar Pokémon. The person wears purple-black clothes, the same color scheme through the outfit. The only variant is a large silvery star on their chest.

"I believe...." The person begins. "It's time to put my plans in actions."

The villain of this RP is a new team known as Void Gazers, or Team Void.

Novrii looks similar to Cressila, but has a more grey-blue scheme, and appears to have small stones orbiting around it.

Pokémon of any Gen. are allowed, but more should center around Hoenn's.

I don't use personality, since it gets known throughout the character's actions. For example, a multi-personality sociopath would be identifiable through his/her sociopathic actions and mood swings.

Anyway, you're good to go; I don't get why a whip would be that useful in a Pokémon storyline.

Appearance: Caleb is fairly short and thinner than most his age, weighing in at a mere 118 lbs. He has black hair that reaches to his shoulders and blue eyes that are emphasized by his pale skin and a dark shading that constantly surrounds them, most likely due to his insomnia. His nose is long and thin, which gives him a somewhat misleading threatening look. (Copied and pasted from another RP)

Bio: Born in Johto, Caleb was banned from the league due to his father's relationship with team rocket - IE: as a grunt. Determined not to let that get him down, Caleb ran away from home (stealing about 20000 Poke from his father's stash) and took a boat to Hoenn, where he managed to get a trainer ID from Birch. He's since gained notoriety as fifth fastest trainer to get eight gym badges, and with so few Pokemon too. The reason that he could be chosen as a defender, perhaps, is that he is devoted to his Pokemon, just as his Pokemon are devoted to him.
