Within the training grounds of the Grassveil Dojo, a Togepi named Cirrus was beginning her preparations for Move Tutor training. Having only recently returned to Grassveil Town from a long trip, she had been attempting to calm and steady herself with some breathing exercises. The girl very much doubted that a Heal Bell could be easily performed under pressure...
"...deep breath in, deep breath out..." she thought to herself, repeating that mantra in her head as she inhaled and exhaled in accordance. "Now... It's time to give this a shot..." she muttered with her eyes closed, feeling calm and serene.
With her preparations completed and her mind calmed, Cirrus stuck her stubby arms outwards and began to mentally run through the motion that she had become quite taken towards; quickly throwing her arms upwards to generate the necessary bell chime noise, letting them gently sink back into their original horizontal position, then rinse and repeat until the move's status cleansing effect took place.
Throwing her arms upwards, both in unison as she pictured, the Togepi could indeed hear a chime in the distance. It was as though Dandy the Furfrou had just received a visitor to his dye shop as notified by the bell there. Letting her arms sink down to their original starting point, Cirrus threw them up again to create a second chime. This one was rather more audible and extremely pleasing to the young Togepi.
With a third arm throw, the sound lasted much longer. It was as though there were a veritable armada of bells ringing now as a gentle light blue outline enveloped Cirrus's whole body. As she was bathed in this soothing and status healing result, waves of a similarly coloured light were expelled outwards from her very body which would cause any and all in her company to be relieved of their status conditions. Burn, poison, paralysis, sleep, even freeze. All would be gone in a heartbeat.
Once this Heal Bell and all its associated sounds and noises had dissipated into her memory, the Togepi took some time to review her methods for and progress on the move's tutor purposes. She had a great grasp upon her own Heal Bell but she quietly agreed that another attempt would be a necessity. Knowing the move itself was fine, using the move was good, using it in front of a willing crowd for purely demonstrational purposes was great, but Cirrus was beginning to understand exactly why a Pokémon needs to truly know a move, both inside and outside, before they pass the dojo's course and become able to teach the move themselves.
"Well, I'll just have to keep trying." Cirrus came to her conclusion. She thought that she had known the move, but it appeared that she hadn't known it. Point blank refusing to let this discourage her, derail her previous and upcoming efforts, or otherwise spoil things, the Togepi took a dive straight in to another attempt. Taking a shot at what she thought it would mean to use a move to its fullest extent, she hoped to make this feel more like a normal thing. Second nature to her.
Cirrus hoped that it would become as easy as breathing by the time she concluded this training.
