The egg-saturated house rumors!

Why, oh why, oh why, did Cirrus even consider going out of her way to pay a visit to Pricklemist Hill, within the boundaries of the neighbouring town of Rainfront? She had never left the wider Grassveil area before and this hill was seriously spooky...

"Cirrus, pull yourself together." the Togepi muttered to herself. "You're here looking for healing herbs, not to look like an idiot..."

That was her motivation. Some herbs simply couldn't be found in her local area. To really find those varieties, one had to look elsewhere. Regardless of how one disliked admitting it. Biting her tongue, she made to continue onwards.

Myrriou wasn't quite sure either, she assumed by the talk of the townsfolk that there was a house on this hill, and not having anywhere to stay in Grassveil as the rain seemed to be setting in, the little Mawile rustles through the grass with not too much care for stealth anymore now that she is over wandering around the darker more dangerous parts of the region.

She hums to herself, a little audible if anyone around the bushes, ferns and thorns were close enough to hear her. "Mmm, a nap in a house~"

She hoped it was not lavish, but not broken down either, maybe she could camp herself around it if she was lucky, she didn't really fit into Grassveil that much. She was too used to moving from place to place, and almost never living in towns.

She didn't hear the humming, but all the rustling created by Myrriou was most definitely audible. The started Cirrus almost jumped, ready to utilize her Double Team to create the illusion of an entire group being present should it prove a necessity to scare off what sounded like a feral.

Just in case it wasn't a feral making that noise, she decided to call out. "Hello? Who's there?"

It would be truly wonderful to see some non hostile backup emerge from the bushes in the form of an explorer, she thought. This dungeon was already beginning to give her the creeps and the Togepi had only just entered it...

Myrr pauses for a moment, hearing the little soft voice coming from outside of her bush. She and her extra head pop out of the bush first, locking on to the little creature that seems to be part of the egg it hatched from.

She ponders for a moment, not knowing what kind of Pokemon it was, but just by the way it looks, she didn't think something so small and cute could be of any harm. She gets all of herself out of the bush, looking down at the little thing, she doubled its height, and the mouth on the back of her head watered and dripped saliva most of the time without her doing anything.

She puts her hands on her hips, trying to smile well. "Im here." She said in a soft tone.

"Oh?" she exclaimed in surprise before turning around to see what the newcomer was. This was definitely not a species she'd seen before.

They looked normal enough. Docile, cute, and judging from the soft tone of voice, had a gentle side to them that essentially proved them to not be feral. The drooling second mouth was the standout feature. It looked as though it could swallow her whole, and Cirrus had to wonder if it were a controllable part of this Pokémon's body or its own distinct entity and personality altogether.

"Hello. I'm Cirrus, a Togepi." she replied to the Mawile. She kept a gentle voice, if this Pokémon turned out to be as nervous as she was, then she'd rather not startle them.

Myrr wasn't unused to having to deal with ferals, but anytime she got a chance to be nice instead, she took it, slowly inching her way forward, shuffling her stompers in the grass, patting the little egg Pokemon on the head. "Im Myrriou, a Mawile." She points to the head on the back of her.. head. "And thats also me, kinda, but he likes to do his own thing, I like to call him Pool sometimes because he makes a lot of goo." She giggles, stepping back.

The wind let a breeze ripple through the trees, and a few specks of rain from the gathering clouds ahead start to fall on the two of them. "Uh oh." She murmurs. "Good thing there isn't an Absol though, that would be bad."

"Hello Myrriou and Pool." Cirrus said, acknowledging the both of them in turn with a smile and giggle. Myrriou seemed fun to be around, perhaps coming all the way out here from Grassveil Town wouldn't be so bad after all.

That was her thought before feeling those little droplets of rain however. She wasn't a big fan of the rain, normally she could have weathered it out in the comfort of her mother's nest but those days were done. "Uhh, rain..." The Togepi's most ridiculous thought so far suddenly occurred to her. Take shelter in that house. She almost couldn't believe what she was thinking...

"Any plans? I don't really want to be caught in a downpour..."

Myrriou ponders for a moment, she was used to bad weather anyways so the rain plunking off her head didn't seem to bother her in the slightest. She spotted the house a little further up the hill, exactly what she was looking for.

She looked down at the little Pokemon, Cirrus was her name, she assumed she couldn't run very fast to escape the rain and by the look on her face she didn't like it either. She quickly scooped her little egg shaped form into her arms, scurrying up the hill as fast as she can, covering her a bit from the elements at play in the wind and sky. "Come on! Lets go to that house, its dry and maybe spooky and fun to explore." She teased, making a silly face at her

Myrriou's assumption was right on the Poké. Cirrus was most definitely not the fastest being in the world on two feet, so she was rather glad to be carried by the larger Pokémon and thus sheltered from some of the oncoming rain.

She wasn't 100% pleased that they were headed straight towards that creepy looking house however but decided on the spot to just sit through this in the hope of ghost rumors being nothing more than that. She could hande a little bit of teasing regardless.

As they got closer to the house though, a nearby Fletchinder decided that it would be truly hilarious to try and spook the duo with a shrill squawk.

Myrriou bolted up the hill, but was startled by the bird screech nearby them. She tripped and let of of Cirrus, stumbling into the ground like a fool. She was angry, getting up to look around and find the Pokemon that made that noise. "What was that for!? You jerk, come apologize!" She rushes her way over to pick up Cirrus again, spotting the bird off in the distance above the trees.

She holds up her hand, it glowing with a purple colour as she levitates rocks and clumps of heavy dirt in front of her to use as projectiles, glaring at the bird and shooting a couple of them at it. "Do you hear me?"

The bird definitely wasn't expecting such an aggressive response to his simple prank, immediately fleeing in panic from Myrriou's retaliation in the form of a Rock type move. "Nice, that scared the bird off." the impressed Togepi said in reply. This exploration could actually turn out to be quite enjoyable if every attacking feral were to run off in a similar fashion after one move, Cirrus thought while dusting herself from having been dropped.

Two hostile looking Linoone then approached the duo before they could get any closer to the house and growled at them, soon initiating a battle by kicking sand towards Myrriou's face with a Sand Attack. Feeling that the Mawile might need backup, Cirrus begun using Metronome.

Myrriou flinches in surprise regaining her balance, trying to get the sand off of her face, which the rain was helping to do and shooting a frown angrily at the pair of Linoone that decided that picking on them was also a good idea. What kind of hill was this? Is the house that important? She thinks to herself, hating having to fight so much like this. The top of her head turns a bit silvery as she winds up and charges quickly at the Linoone on the left, bull rushing into it if it didn't move in time with her Iron Head attack.

The Linoone indeed didn't move in time and ended up taking the hit from Myrriou's Iron Head, flinching in raw and abstract fear as a result. Cirrus took this opportunity and aimed herself towards the Linoone on the right as she called out what she hoped to be a good offensive move from her use of Metronome.

All of a sudden, she felt fiery energy building up within herself. Squirming free from the Mawile's grip to avoid the possibility of harming her teammate with that warmth, Cirrus leapt up as the energy begun to gather in her feet. The result was the Togepi landing on the Linoone with a Blaze Kick that, despite being somewhat dampened by the steadily growing rain, was a critical hit as a result of Super Luck.

As a result of those two hits, the Linoone duo ran off.
