The Islands in the Sky

Upon hearing of some strange floating islands, Rai was drawn like a magnet. What interested him less than the town on the island was the guild that was there. He hadn't ever thought that the guild could have multiple branches. Though, of course, it all sounded almost unreal. Could islands really float? Well, Rai was about to find out.

After a few days of travelling, Rai took flight in search of his destination. His head was filled with thoughts of excitement, and a little bit of doubt.

The journey was tiring, but he finally had arrived. He had heard the truth; the town was there, with guild in sight in the distance. Rai decided to look around the town, see what it was like.

It was time. Pokkoji had finally become a Butterfree and fluttered over towards the Floating Islands. He had been training a lot to be able to go there. The reason for that was that he had heard there was a guild up there. Even though he was now a Butterfree, he still was not fond of Chikorita and the guildmaster of the Grassveil guild just happened to be the last form of it. He was rather excited about the idea of finally being able to join a guild. There was one problem, he still needed to find a partner to go there.

Of course, Pokkoji didn't really think about it. For now, he just really wanted to see these so called islands. Who would have thought there would be islands floating in the sky? The Butterfree was really excited. After a long flight, he finally arrived to one of the lower islands. What he found there, was a large village. So this was supposed to be Aileron village? The Butterfree looked around in amazement and flew through the town, barely paying attention to where he was flying to. Some Pokemon had to jump out of his way to not get flown into by him. Pokkoji was too busy looking around to see a certain Zubat in front of him. He was going to fly into it for sure if it didn't go out of the way or warn him.

Rai explored the town, somewhat in disbelief that the place actually existed. Of course, all of the citizens of the island were flying types (or somehow could fly). The island was impressive, albeit small. But that was all beside the point. The main attraction that pulled Rai to the island in the first place was the Aileron Guild.

The guild gave off vibes of regality and prestige. Like the town, it was also likely small and with less members. That was to be expected due to the challenge of actually getting to the island. The anticipation of joining a guild was killing Rai; he couldn't wait to go inside. But, then again, he didn't have a partner. Maybe if he looked around the town, he could fi-

His thought was interrupted by the sound of flapping wings quickly approaching him. Rai sharply turned around, and was greeted with a Pokemon about to run right into him. He didn't have the time to avoid it, and then---THUD!!

Pokkoji, not having paid attention to where he was going, suddenly flied into something and fell on the ground. The Butterfree shook his head and looked at whoever ran into him. "Hey, watch where you are going!" Pokkoji yelled in an angry tone, causing some others to look their way. The energetic bug didn't think about that it was actually his fault he hit the other Pokemon.

The Butterfree got up and looked at whoever he collided with. The Zubat looked awfully familiar. Pokkoji just could not remember from where. "Hey, I think I know you. I met you in uh... Where was it again?" If the Butterfree could scratch his head, he would be doing that right now. Then it came to him. "Oh, Shadowhue! You're Rai, right? Right?" Pokkoji already had completely forgotten about his anger. He was happy to have come across someone he knew.
