Today was finally the day! After a long journey over to Pricklemist Hill with almost nothing to do other than fight, run, and repeat, Raze was glad that he arrived at last. It wasn't long ago that he had promised his friend Cana that he would meet her over there. The static buzzed inside of him in excitement and in preparation for the event. This is going to be the best! Can't wait to get there, maybe there's something out there I've never even heard of! the Minun thought with a hyper disposition. After all, this was the first time he'd explored the areas away from both his home and Grassveil. What was there not to be hopeful about?
Though he ignored it, a lot of things. Outlaws, disasters, and his usual slip-ups were always factors in situations such as this. "...I'm getting way too serious about this." he said to no one in particular. Why was the Electric type worrying about this? Before the small, black and cream-colored mouse was a large, misty hill. All he had to do now was meet his friend outside of the area. Seeing as he was a bit early, Raze dropped his bag and took inventory on his current possessions. I'm the first one here, I guess, so I might as well. It was still fairly early in the morning, so that gave him quite a while to discover all the hill had to offer.

It was finally the day that Cana was going to meet with Raze. She was pretty excited about it. Although the last time with Raze didn't go so well, she still had a lot of fun. Having the Trap Scarf she got from the Minun tied around her tail, she ventured forward. They were going to meet at the entrance of Pricklemist hill. She could already see it in the distance. There didn't seem to be as much mist as the last time she was there. That was a good thing. At least it would be much harder to lose eachother in the mist.
As Cana moved closer she could see a silhouet at the feet of the hill. Is that Raze? She started moving faster and she soon noticed a Minun sitting there. Something was strange about him though. All the parts of his body that were supposed to be blue, were some kind of black color instead. She never saw a Minun with these colors before. Who is this Minun? Have I met him before? Maybe he is a friend of Raze? Cana didn't realize the Minun in front of her was the one she was supposed to meet up with. The Fennekin didn't know what to say to him and just decided to greet him. "Um....Hello..." She was a bit nervous to talk to him.

Rouge could feel it in his bones, this time for sure he would find a nice cave to live in. He smiled openly as he approached the mist covered hill. Before continuing, Rouge took a deep breath. 'This air feels cleansing' he thought as he rested his club on his shoulder. he didn't see the silhouettes of two Pokemon ahead of him as he walked, as he was preoccupied with the idea of finding a nice empty cave. In spite of this seeming like it was going to be a good day, every step gave Rouge a creeping feeling that something was going to go awry.
He continued walking, the pep slowly leaving his step, a slight worried look replaced his smile as he passed the two Pokemon. could this place be haunted? perhaps he should turn back? No, he must continue to find a new cave. He was going to have a great day... right...? He stopped dead in his tracks and shook his head in an attempt to clear it. He looked into the colorless mist ahead of him. the sense of dread was strong, but this was just something he had to overcome.

After hours of tireless travel, Ashen finally arrived at Pricklemist Hill. The last time she had been in the area, she had gotten horribly lost, but was luckily guided home by some kind strangers. This time, however, the young Houndour was confident that she could navigate the foggy dungeon on her own (or at least, she had convinced herself that she could). Practice makes perfect, after all! If she wanted to become an explorer, she would need to have a well-developed sense of direction. The way she saw it, if she couldn't make it through, she would not be prepared for the Grassveil Guild.
As the little fire type began her ascent, the fog grew progressively thicker, getting to a point where she couldn't see anything more than a meter away. I should be more careful this time around... Last time, the ferals used the mist as cover, and ambushed me. I'm not going to let that happen again, She thought, attempting to use her acute sense of smell and sensitive hearing to detect foes before they attacked.
"...I'm getting way too serious about this."
Ashen stiffened, hearing the faint sound of a Pokemon's voice in the distance. Her curiosity was peaked; why was the stranger randomly talking to himself? She couldn't hear anyone else, so she could only assume that he was alone. The hound Pokemon quietly padded over to the source of the noise.

Well, this was certainly much more difficult than Bambi had originally planned.
At the start of that day, she had been rather excited to start traveling to Pricklemist Hill as her first exploration. Why? Because her mother actually approved of it! The Cinccino said that if Bambi successfully made it through to the end of this dungeon, then she would finally admit that she was ready to be independent. Not only that, but Bambi would also be able to help the Cinccino through the tough times they were in.
However, the young chinchilla Pokemon never accounted for how tiring the long trip would be. Sure, she never let that damper her spirit. She was young after all. But she was so exhausted that she was at a major disadvantage from the start. Crawling on her belly on all fours, the normally rambunctious child had to take a rest at the very top. This was indeed much harder than it looked.
The exhausted Minccino still managed to get excited over the new place she entered. It was true that other Pokemon had no doubt been here before, but she felt as if she had discovered some kind of distant land. She was less than a year old, after all, so her experience of anything was rather low. The Minccino breathed in the expansive, fragrant smell from the green foliage, and it seemed to soothe her.
Though she wasn't a Grass-Type, this was her element: a forest filled with plenty of trees to climb, and Minccinos were no slouches when it came to climbing. If it wasn't so foggy, and if she wasn't so tired, then she would most definitely have climbed up one right now.
But for now, unaware of the other Pokemon in the forest, she had to take at least a short break.

Raze was startled at first by the voice from behind him. For the past few minutes, he had felt that he was being watched, but now this? He turned around and let a ball of electricity form on his hand. This wouldn't do any damage, but it would send a message to the very least. His vision drifted up to the face of the culprit... revealing it to be Cana. He let his hand drop to his side and sighed. "Sorry about that, Cana, you scared me there. I got a dye, looks cool, doesn't it? Black looks good, in my opinion. Really good for stealth, you know?" he said. Though the feeling of many eyes watching him remained, it bothered the Minun less now that his companion had arrived. With how well the last exploration went, he had high hopes for this one as well.
"Heh, you ready to head out? I don't really see why we would just be sitting here for something, unless you invited someone else. I came alone, so we shouldn't be expecting anyone I know." the Cheering Pokémon said with a shrug. It's not that he didn't want to bring anyone, but he couldn't find anyone who would want to go to Pricklemist in that particular time. Whatever, their loss. This is gonna be- Raze thought, only to be cut off by a black figure in the fog. He charged himself up and allowed the sparks to show, almost as a warning sign. Seeing as the air was filled with mist, which was made with water, his attacks became slightly stronger due to the water in the air. Of course, the Electric type didn't know that and wanted to instantly use Spark on anything that approached if it wasn't friendly. "S-Show yourself! I've got thunder and I know how to use it!"

| The Fennekin was surprised. "Huh? Dye? You...dyed yourself? i didn't know you could do that. I thought you were someone else." Cana was actually relieved that the Minun in front of her was Raze and not someone else. She actually never heard of other Pokemon dying themselves before. Maybe that was because she lived in such a small village? Either way, she was surprised by this.
"Hmm?" Cana turned around. She could see a silhouet nearing them. The Fennekin wasn't able to see the Pokemon very clearly but it seemed to be carrying some kind of club and was it wearing a skull? She never saw a Pokemon like that before. What is that Pokemon? It doesn't seem to be paying attention to us. Why is it here? Cana quietly watched the Pokemon.
Raze, on the other hand, didn't seem so intent on waiting to see what it would do. Sparks where jumping from him and he told the Pokemon to show itself. It scared the Fennekin a bit. She backed away from the Minin. It was then that the Fox Pokemon picked up a scent. It smelled a bit like....charcoal? No, that wasn't right. It was probably the scent of a Pokemon. Did it come from that weird Pokemon she saw or did it come from a different pokemon? Was Raze even talking to that Pokemon? Cana had no clue.

| Rouge realized that there was a voice behind him, but it sounded rather unfriendly. He gulped silently and turned around slowly, looking upon the two Pokemon. A small, black eared Pokemon and a equally small dog. These were curious looking Pokemon to him, as well as something else... some weird glowing orb in the black eared Pokemons hand. It was rather... beautiful to Rouge. He let his club fall to the ground and drag it behind him as he walked forward, trying to show he mean no harm.
"N-no.... H-arm..." Rouge had been practicing his speech heavily over the last few days. He gave the best smile he possibly could to try and continue to show he was friendly. He only hoped they would get the message. Rouge soon heard steps coming toward their location, these steps sounded muffled, and unlike what he had heard before. Turning towards the noise, readying his club for a fight. Rouge had no way of seeing though this fog, but no matter what he's be ready for any fight that would happen.

"S-Show yourself! I've got thunder and I know how to use it!"
Ashen froze in fear, able to see sparks dance off of a Pokemon's body in the distance. How should she respond to the threat? Run like a coward, or stand her ground? Decisions, decisions... What would Mom do? She'd probably nail him with a Fire Blast, but I don't think I'm strong enough to beat an electric Pokemon... Still, I have to be brave... She thought, ultimately deciding that fleeing the scene would do her no good. Clearing her throat, she was about to make an equally threatening statement, when she was interrupted by the utterances of another Pokemon.
"N-no.... H-arm..."
The Houndour's ears perked up upon hearing a familiar voice. Is that... Rouge? She thought, tilting her head. What is he doing here? I thought he was looking for a cave to live in... As far as I know, there aren't any caves around here... Curious, she continued to use all of her senses to monitor the situation, ready to jump in if things got dicey for her Cubone companion. As long as she remained undetected by the strangers, she would lurk in the mist... At least, until she knew whether the electric Pokemon was friendly or not.

| It only took Bambi a moment to hear some kind of commotion going on nearby. Well, it was hard to miss with all of the little sparks of lightning dancing around. This made her really wonder what was going on down there. Deciding that it was better to check it out rather than sit around on some hill, Bambi got up on all fours and slid herself down the hill a little, until she realized that this would hurt her with all the rocks and debris everywhere.
The young Minccino landed belly first on the ground and let out a cute little giggle in the process. Then she heard a young male voice threaten to use a Thuder on someone, and she was up on both of her feet. A Thunder attack? As naive as she was, Bambi took Electric-Type Pokemon very seriously. After all, her father was one, and a tough one too.
Still, the voice didn't seem to come from a large Pokemon, and this fog really made her curious. Abandoning and sense of caution, Bambi ran on both feet out of the cover of the fog, perhaps scaring the crud out of some of them, and almost found herself running into the Houndour.
All of these Pokemon... She'd never seen them before! Well, anyway, she had landed on her bum in front of some strange looking dog, so might as well say hello. "Hi!" Bambi said in her sweet, childish voice. "I'm Bambi. Who are you? What Pokemon are you? Huh, huh, huh?"

The mouse wasn't very easygoing about this so far. There was some random figure in the fog, he was at least a few days away from Grassveil, and there was probably a million Pokémon here already. Pivoting on his heel and facing the source of the shaky voice, he let his arm drop down and withdrew the electricity. A Cubone stood where the noise had generated from with a smile on his face. "...Whoops, sorry about that! Guess I'm a little shaken up today, first time over here. I'm Raze, what-" he began, only to be cut off by the creature's alert stance. Something was approaching, and by the sounds of it, it had the intention of sneaking around to not alert them. "Okay, maybe that'll have to wait for now; we're still not alone? I swear, now I know how Pilot felt last time..."
How could Raze forget the first time this had happened? In Pecha Forest, he had encountered a lot of Pokémon, which had turned out well. It may have been his nerves messing with him, but the sense of uneasiness lingered. The Electric type still felt that this was different, even though he hoped it would play out similarly. Why am I so paranoid about this?! Either drop your guard or fire an attack, you idiot! What's the worst that can happen if you're wrong, a little scrape? Man up and do it! the Minun urged himself as he prepared a Discharge. However, a dialogue cut him off, like many times before, as he instantly doubted himself. "Wait, what? Hold on, I think we're okay for now... Hello? Who's there?" he called out in response. Apparently, a Pokémon named Bambi was talking to someone...? Yup, this is weird. I swear, I'm some kind of Pokémon magnet when I go out...

| Before she could comment about there possible being another Pokemon close by, a third Pokemon had appeared. What was happening here? It was just like that time in Pecha Forest. Back then she had just gone to Pecha Forest for the first time to explore and before she knew it, she was surrounded by Pokemon. One of them happened to be Raze. That was how they met. For some reason she had to think about that day again.
That was, until Raze called out to the the other Pokemon. She was hoping they were friendly. All these Pokemon made her nervous. She moved closer to Raze and looked at where she could smell the Pokemon were coming from.

| Rouge stepped slowly towards the small squeak of a voice. The fog was thick, but it didn't take long for him to not only see the shape, but to see the face of Ashen. He immediately dropped his club and ran towards her calling out.
"A-ash-en!" Rouge exclaimed happily. he was always happy to see a face he knew would be friendly. He noticed the small creature next to Ashen, who was this? he could have sword he heard an introduction, but he hadn't been paying attention to what was being said, but more of the fact that there was something there. He shifted on his feet, three new pokemon? and they seemed friendly enough, though it was odd that there would be some any here... he had heard this area was very foggy, and thus there may be a cave no one knew about. He looked back to the other two Pokemon, they were obscured by the fog, but he knew they were still there.
He heard something move out side of his view. Rouge turned around walking slowly towards the last location of the sound. He didn't like the looks of this, nor did he like the sound of it. He readied his bone once again. He would be ready for anything.

"Oh, h-hello..." Ashen murmured to the young Minccino, taken somewhat off guard by her sudden appearance. The child's animated behavior amused her, causing her maw to form a warm smile. "My name is Ashen, and I'm a Houndour... What's your name?" She asked the Pokemon in a soft tone, perhaps in an effort to avoid being detected by the electric type that had threatened her moments earlier. However, given the Minccino's loud and squeaky voice, it was likely that she was already exposed. At this point, all she could do was hope that the potentially hostile Pokemon from before turned out to be friendly.
"A-ash-en!"
"Eh!?" Ashen rasped, suddenly remembering that Rouge was there. "Oh, hey Rouge," She greeted the Cubone, her small tail wagging slowly. Between the Minccino and her travel companion, the fire-type's cover had been completely blown. However, with a formidable partner in Rouge at her side, she knew that even if the electric Pokemon wanted to attack her, she would be able to fight back. I don't have anything to worry about... Maybe I should calm down a bit.
