Tec was floating through the forest the locals had named the Pecha Forest, due to the amount of Pecha Berries in said forest, a fitting name indeed. Some wanderers had named a local settlement called Grassveil Town with the forest being close by. Deciding that exploring the forest would have higher priority in terms of learning about the local "wildlife" as one might call it, he entered the forest.

Now however, he found himself lost. Surely, it was advanteous as he would be able to map the forest in his mind, in order to not get lost again but he had to admit that if several feral Pokemon would now decide to attack him at once he might be overwhelmed. Staying on the safe side, he observed his surroundings, looking ouut for anything that might try to jump him.

[Energy: 20 - 5 (Dungeon Entry) = 15]

Mei could smell a whiff of Pecha berries at the entrance of the dungeon. She knew what a Pecha berry was like, and was expecting lots of those pink and round helpful berries around every corner. The Eevee grinned a little to herself. This is going to be fun! She thought. The Eevee started to track deeper inside the forest, keeping close towards the shadow of the trees. Although she didn't mind open spaces, she preferred the darkness much to the light. The forest was really bright, unlike Shadowhue. But it didn't matter. As she walked, she kept her nose up, alert for sounds of other Pokemon which she didn't want to meet.

A Vulpix took confident steps through the tall grass, the tall green plants brushing against her red fur. She held her head high, her brown eyes focused on the objective she needed to accomplish today in this forest. The lady needed Pecha berries, and she needed them fast. She had too much to do in such little time, she has no time to dilly dally around and waste what little precious time she had left before the deadline.

She jumped on top of a boulder, tails waving erratically. She frowned, scanning the brightly lit grassy clearing with keen eyes. So far no good, it the time she has been in Pecha she's found absolutely nothing, no fruit from the trees of life. The Vulpix huffed, one eye twitching iritibly. "Still nothing? What has this forests trees fallen into a famine? Never to bare fruit to one who so desires it's gifts? Nonsense, there has to me something of aught." She jumped down and trotted to the center of the clearing, even the burning Sun's rays was not calming down the fire type, in all actuality it made her want to set something ablaze! 

She shook her head roughly, she has no time for such thoughts! It is unproductive and against her nature!

It could have been considered nothing more than a simple stroll, hadn't Tec been so observant. In a clearing illuminated by the sunlight, he could see a Vulpix, a Fire-Type fox pokemon. He had seen some of them before but this would be different since he would actually be able to talk with this one, gathering and/or confirming existing knowledge.

Deciding to make his move, Tec slowly floated through the brushes, "stepping" into the clearing while trying to seem as harmless as possible. Many pokemon are easily startled when Pokemon are jumping out of the shadows or out of brushes, especially when they are as exotic as Tec, for he has seen no other of his kind around yet. Trying to break the ice, he spoke a simple word to show that he wasn't simply a feral. "Greetings."

Mei's ears twitched. She could hear something, somewhere close to her. It sounded like two or so Pokemon, although she wasn't sure. The Eevee had blended into the forest shadows, and doesn't exactly have an intention to step out yet. The Eevee crouched down, concealed within the ferns of the forest. She was glad there were mushrooms near her to musk her scent. She didn't mean to eavesdrop, but there was something in the voices that she heard that sounded--mechanical. Mei flattened herself lower on the ground. She didn't want to get mistaken as a feral Pokemon. Through the weaving grass blades, she finally spotted the Pokemon. It was a Vulpix, and another one that she couldn't name. Foreign Pokemon? Mei's eyes narrowed. This was new. What were they up to?

The Vulpix's head snapped over to the voice, her brown eyes narrowed in surprised and stress. She let a scowl stretch across her pretty snout, straightening out of the hunched position she was formerly in. These, odd pokemon was nothing of the likes of What she's seen in her life! Sure she has met construct pokemon before, but something about this one made her think that it's- though she is pretty sure it's a guy- a pokemon that is completely new to this area. The vixen finally realized how rude she was being, causing her to let out a shaky sigh.

"Ah yes, I apologize for my lack of manners,"She cleared her throat, "Greetings, I don't beloved i've ever encountered a pokemon such as you. If you mind me inquiring, What kind of pokemon are you?" The vixen didn't relax at knowing that it wasn't a feral, she has far to many things to be alert about.

Tec nodded as he heard that question. He was used to that as he was, while certainly not unique as he hatched from an egg, meaning that there have been others of his kind as well, a rare sort of Pokemon. "My species is known as Porygon. We aren't very common, though I do not know where we are coming from as I myself merely hatched at a beach without any more of my kind around."

Looking around, he could see some bushes shaking before a Pokemon, namely a Pineco, jumped out of it, glaring at the two. "We should be careful, there is a threat over there. It would be very appreciated if you are able to use a Fire-Type move against that Pokemon over there." While keeping his eyes on the Pineco, he reinforced the edges on his body with Sharpen.

Mei's eyes darted towards her left at the sound of the rustle. It took a complete five seconds before the Pineco revealed itself towards the other Pokemon. Mei stiffened. She could feel its aura--a restless kind--radiating. It was pissed because of something, and it was going to throw it around at other Pokemon. "Watch out!" Mei called, jumping out of her hiding place and ramming onto the Pokemon with a tackle. She regretted it almost instantly. She should have stayed in the bushes.

For the second time today, the vixen snapped her head over to the bushes fast enough to almost give her a whiplash. She gritted her teeth and looked around her, besides the odd pokemon next to her, the lady couldn't tell if any other pokemon out there was friend or foe. She glanced at the porygon out the corner of her eyes. "I'm afraid I can't help you with this battle, I do not participate in battles for any reason. So I'm going to get out of your way. She informed him, taking a few steps back away from the pinecone, "Also, let me note that pineco are very explosive.

As she was about to find a place to hide out the duration of the fight, a brown blur smashed into the blue pine cone, knocking it a fair distance. The vixen blinked, "An Eevee?

Tec followed with unmoving eyes the events that played in front of him, mainly the Pineco getting Tackle'd by a brown blur that revealed itself to be an Eevee. Having Sharpen'd himself enough, Tec was waiting for the right moment to strike. He knew the problems tha come along with Pinecos, mainly their tendency to explode.

As if on cue, the feral pokemon started glowing white. He knew what that meant, it was about to Self-Destruct. Deciding to act now and save the Eevee, he charged into the Pineco, using Tackle to send it into the brushes, right before it exploded. As the Pineco blew up, Tec got caught in the shockwave and sent into a nearby tree.

Mei stood up, shaking a little bit, her fur ruffled and messed up from the explosion. She had just as well nearly missed an explosion that could have caused her life! Her head quickly whipped to the left, towards the direction of the Pokemon who pushed her out of the way. It was the pink thing again. "Um.. thank you for that." Mei said, starting to back towards the direction of the bushes. She felt a little bit uncomfortable in the open, under the stares of other Pokemon. Especially after the near explosion experience.

"Oh My!"

The vixen quickly rushed over to where Tec got knocked into the trees, ignoring the shying away eevee the psychic type saved. She skidded to a stop in front of the pink Pokemon and nudged him with her nose. "Are you okay Dear? Do you need an Oran berry?" The fire fox Pokemon reached into her small bag, before pulling out an Oran berry just in case. She wasn't entirely sure if the forgien Pokemon could actually eat with no visible mouth, but she's seen some Pokemon eat despite obvious physically differences.

Tec was simply sitting at the base of the tree, his head shaking a bit from the impact with it. It took a bit of time for him, as he slammed head-first into the tree before he managed to notice his surroundings again. In front of her was the Vulpix he spoke to earlier and at the edge of his vision, he noticed the brown blur from earlier, an Eevee if he remembered correctly. Focusing onto the fox in front of him, he shook his head a bit in order to make out what she wanted before he noticed the Oran Berry in her paws. "W-Well, thank you for your concern. And yes, I think an Oran Berry would be doing good right now, thank you very much. However, since he had no paws to pick it up, clearly a design flaw of his species, he had to eat it straight from her grip. A small line formed itself at the underside of the beak-like form that made up his head and something akin to a mouth opened. Quickly, he took the berry before the mouth closed again, showing no trace of it ever having existed in the first place.
