| Oya zipped and zoomed down to the misty foot of Pricklemist Hill, landing right in front of one of her clients, an Audino. "Good morning mister! I'm the one who accepted your mission over in Aileron!" the little Emolga exclaimed, giving the normal type a thumbs up. The Audino smiled, scratching the back of his head, "Well ok then, please do a good job of protecting me, please." When he had heard that Team Roark had taken the mission, he had thought that it would be Acro who would come. He hadn't even realized the bronze team had an Emolga. Though given the fact that he had never visited Aileron, for obvious reasons, he didn't know much about the team other than it's leader and rank. "Will do! Now, ready to go?" the spunky little electric type said, electricity sparking from her excited cheeks. With a nod from the Audino, the pair began to make their trek up the misty hill. Deeper in the dungeon, Akuroma sat at his desk, preparing a pack to go to Shadowhue Forest. He had everything he could possibly need laid out. Pecha berries, Sitrus berries, and other such useful items. The Gallade continued to shift the items around, placing some back into his storage containers whilst bringing others out. (Oya energy: 18) (Aku energy: 60) _________________________________________________________ Oya of Team Roark as taken two missions to be completed in this thread: They Crave Minerals Objective: Collect 5 Gravelrock They Need My Help Objective: Heal 5 Pokemon with Audino's Heal Pulse.

| Breeze Energy: 16 - 10 (entrance) = 6 Items in Use: N/ABreeze of the Morning Rain, a mudkip hailing from a faraway island in the ocean, paced at the bottom of the misty hill. She had only been in this new land for a few days. After her meeting with the riolu at the beach when she had first landed in this new land, she had gone to the nearest town -Rainfront- to get her bearings. After studying a few maps of the region in the town's library, Breeze had headed out to Pricklemist Hill for some training. She needed to get stronger, or she'd never survive on her own. She needed to learn how to fight and defend herself, and how to hunt, or she would starve and die from a feral pokemon attacking her. So here she was, at the base of this misty hill, nervously pacing. She was anxious about teaching herself how to fight, but she knew that there wasn't really a better place to teach herself how to fight than in the misty surroundings. She was typically shrouded in humidity due to her damp ability, but the mist around her took care of any energy it would normally take her to exude the wet into the air around her. She took a deep breath, and started up the hill. She wasn't going to find a sparring partner just standing around nervously. ---------- Lumina Energy: 46 - 10 (entrance) = 36 Items in Use: Heal Ribbon (+1 energy per page) Vulpix Tag (-1 energy to all pokemon rolls)Lumina trotted up the hill gracefully. The ninetales had never felt better in her life. She could feel the power coursing through her, with every movement of a muscle, from the stretch in her legs as she moved, to the slight twitching in her tails as they brushed against the ground and on small shrubbery. The ninetales had been to this hill several times, but only as a vulpix. She had only recently evolved, after all. The whole world seemed so different as a ninetales than it had been as a vulpix. When she had been in her weaker, smaller form, she had constantly been plagued by strange worries and concerns of not being strong enough. Lumina snorted now at the thought. Even as a vulpix, she had been strong and capable. She couldn't see why she had been so doubting of herself. It was obvious that she was powerful in any form that she took; though the ascension to a ninetales had certainly boosted her powers -particularly psychic powers. So it was that Lumina trotted through Pricklemist Hill confidently, sure that she could meet any challenge that would come her way. | |

| Oya giggled and smiled as she glided around not far from the Audino, scouting ahead to make sure nobody would try and sneak attack them. To Oya, this place was awesome! The mist made it seem like she was flying above a lake made of milk! The Emolga giggled at the thought. After a couple more circles up in the air to make sure nobody was approaching, Oya dived back to the ground, landing next to her client. "Can't see anybody coming towards us, mister. The mist is pretty thick, though, so I guess it'd be hard to see anybody who doesn't stand over it anyways," the electric type said, smiling sheepishly.
The Audino smiled, "Oh it's alright, I'm sure we'll find someone soon enough, hopefully we'll be able to find those in need of help." He was still questioning the Emolga. Though she seemed confident, she didn't seem quite powerful, and appeared to be easily distracted. Even now, she marched ahead of him in such an exaggerated way that he couldn't help but think she though this was all a game.
Elsewhere, Akuroma donned his cloak and gloves, the stone in his left hand glove glinting in the light. He stared at the stone, the power within it seeming to pulse into his body. He had still yet to use it, and still didn't quite feel comfortable with the idea of using it. To the Gallade, it felt like something he should use as a last resort, but then, what if it wouldn't be enough for even that? He sighed, going back to organizing his pack.

| BreezeBreeze padded up the hill, glancing around in the mist for any sign of another pokemon. There didn't seem to be a lot of natives to the area around. She found this a little strange. Back on her home island, even the wilderness was teeming with life at all times. Even when her Tribemates were not around, she could always spot prey pokemon darting here and there in the grass, trying to keep away from her. Though she had never learned to hunt, the prey had no way of knowing that, and did their best to avoid Tribe pokemon -as all the pokemon in the Tribes were carnivorous pokemon. Some pokemon would say that they were cruel and that killing other pokemon to eat was wrong, but Breeze knew no other way. And it wasn't like Tribe pokemon killed for sport. Most, if not all, the pokemon species in the Tribes needed meat to survive. And though it was not in the Covenant, it was an unspoken rule in the Tribes that there was no wasting of food, and that upon the catching of prey, one was to thank their ancestors for the sacrifice of the pokemon to continue the life of the Tribe. But there didn't even seem to be prey pokemon around! Perhaps they were all hiding? Or the area had been over-hunted to the point that no prey remained? Breeze shuddered at the thought. Though she hadn't been alive at the time, she had heard of terrible stories of the Tribe's previous home, which had been so over-hunted that the Tribes had almost died out from starvation. A twig snapped near Breeze, and she was dragged out of her thoughts by the sound. She froze, twisting her head this way and that, the fin on the top of her head twitching. There was something near her -and that something was rather large by the amount of air that it was stirring up. Breeze's eyes narrowed and she called out into the mist. "Hello? Who's there?" --------- LuminaLumina continued through the misty hill confidently. She had no particular reason for her journey to Pricklemist Hill today; she had just felt like exploring in a dungeon. As she walked, her thoughts turned to the Grassveil Guild. She was a member of said guild, and technically had a room there, but she was a loner pokemon, and preferred to spend her time by herself. In fact, she couldn't even remember at the moment why she had even joined the guild. Sure, she liked exploring, but she could do that on her own. She hadn't been to the guild in ages, let alone took a job from the Bulletin Board. Lumina was starting to think that she was better off just leaving the guild for good and continuing on by herself. Especially now that she was a ninetales; she felt like she was wasting her considerable power and talent at the guild. She needed to find something that was worth her time! A twig snapped under one of her paws, and she winced, pulling up the paw away from the sharp stick. She licked at her paw pad, attempting to remove the small splinters that had stabbed into her sensitive skin. Her ears twitched as she heard someone call out to her through the mist, demanding to know who was there. A grin spread across Lumina's face, and she placed her paw back on the ground to stride forward confidently. A tiny mudkip soon came into view through the fog, and Lumina kept her easy grin on her face. "Hello, little fish... Aren't you a little far from home?" She greeted the pokemon, stopping a few paces away from the water type, sitting gracefully with her tails curled around her. | |

| Oya nodded, continuing to plod along happily in front of the Audino, humming a little tune as she went along. The Audino just continued to follow her, the pair having fallen somewhat silent as they continued their search for hurt Pokemon and gravelrocks. Akuroma grabbed a hold of a Pecha berry, beginning to place it in his bag when a streak of black and purple light smashed through his window, knocking him to the ground. Akuroma coughed as he moved up to his hands and knees. As he struggled up, his cabin's door was smashed in, a horde of Poochyena ran in, as well as a Mightyena. The many dark types surrounded Akuroma, growling and snarling at the Gallade.
As Akuroma attempted to push himself up to his feet, the Mightyena fired off another dark pulse. The attack slammed right into Akuroma's chest, knocking him backwards onto his butt. The Gallade groaned, grabbing at his chest where a bit of smoke trailed off. The pack of Poochyena barked and howled in manic delight at the sight of their alpha beating back the Gallade.

| BreezeAt first, there was no response. Then out of the mist came a large shadowy shape. The fog parted to reveal a large, golden-furred pokemon with ruby-red eyes and nine long tails. Breeze recognized the pokemon as a ninetales -the Skyteller of the Tribe of the Glimmering Sun had been a ninetales, so she was familiar with the species. The ninetales spoke then, and was revealed to be a female. As she sat down calmly, her tails spreading out in a fan around her. She seemed powerful and confident in that power. Just what Breeze had been looking for in a sparring partner! "I'm looking for someone to spar with," she replied to the fire type boldly. "Are you up to the challenge, or should I start looking elsewhere?" ----------- LuminaLumina grinned at the mudkip's boldness. "You think you can beat me, little fish?" She teased, not rising from her seated position. She wanted to give off the idea that she wasn't taking the mudkip seriously. A riled rival is always more fun to spar with, at least in Lumina's opinion. The mudkip looked over her with an obviously forced dismissive look. Lumina almost laughed at the attempt -they seemed to be trying the same tactics! "I think its more like, do you think you can beat me?" The mudkip shot back. Lumina did laugh then, throwing her head back in her amusement. "Well, you've got spunk, I'll give you that much, little fish. Tell me, what is your name? I'd like to know who I'm about to defeat in battle." | |

| Oya stopped suddenly at the sound of bushes rustling, her cheeks sparking as she put her tiny furry fists up, ready for a fight. "Heiyah!" she yelled out, jumping at the bushes, swinging her first down onto whatever was causing the rustling. The Audino looked at Oya worriedly as she stood still for a moment. "Um, are you alright?" he asked. At his response, Oya turned her head towards him, forcing a smile as she fought back tears. "Y-yessir. J-just dandy," she said as she pulled her throbbing hand from the bush she just punched at, shaking it to try and get the pain to ebb away.
As she did so, a Zigzagoon popped its head out of the bush, "Well, you did miss me and hit this," he said, pushing a box with a small bag sitting atop it. "In any case, perhaps you should make sure you can tell what you're about to attack. Oh, and I don't feel like fighting," with that, the normal type disappeared back into the bushes, leaving the items for Oya.
"N-noted..." Oya said, placing the items in her bag.

Akuroma, on the other hand, wasn't fairing as well as the little Emolga explorer. The pack had pushed him out of his cabin, the Mightyena leader barking out at his lackeys, who all pounced and bit at Akuroma. The Gallade thrashed around, tossing the smaller Pokemon off as he tried to get his bearings to attack. However, as soon as he'd pull one off, two of three others would jump on him.
As the pack continued to press onto Akuroma, his trashing became worse, until something finally clicked in him. The air around the Gallade grew still, the stone nestled in his glove beginning to glow. Akuroma's irises began to glow and shrink as he felt a sudden surge of power, the air suddenly drawing inward around him as he breathed in. The Poochyena clinging to him and around him were pushed by the wind, until a multi-colored light surrounded the Gallade, the stone on his glove giving a glint just before it too was enveloped by the light.

| Breeze Energy: 6 Items in Use: N/ABreeze threw her head back and scoffed at the ninetales' words. "I should be asking you the same thing," she countered. "After all, I am the one with the type advantage here. But, I suppose it's only polite to let you know the name of the pokemon about to knock the arrogance out of you. My name is Breeze of the Morning Rain. I hail from an island many miles away from this land, across the ocean." Breeze lifted her chin up confidently. She was sure that with her type advantage, she could take the ninetales. She was soon to learn that type advantages were not the only thing that mattered in battles. -------- Lumina Energy: 36 Items in Use: Heal Ribbon (+1 energy per page) Vulpix Tag (-1 energy to all pokemon rolls)Lumina shook her head at the mudkip's gall. "Well, you have certainly got confidence, I'll give you that. But how ironic, to chide me for my so-called 'arrogance,' when it is clearly you who are the arrogant one. You think that just because you have a type advantage over me, that automatically means that you will win? You poor, deluded fool." Lumina finally rose out of her seated position, her tails spreading out like a fan around her, held high as her eyes started to glow, the ruby red of her eyes growing sharper. "I will soon teach you to respect my name, little Breeze. I am Lumina, the fiery light in the deepest depths of darkness. Let me light up your world with fire..." | |

| (Skipping Oya for this post since I don't want to progress through the missions too quickly and I'm unsure on what to do with the Kriketot rn)
Within the light, Akuroma's form began to change, his cloak billowing about as the swords of his arms grew much larger, as well as his crest. A cape-like structure flowed out from his back, billowing underneath his cloak as a rush of wind burst out from around Akuroma, knocking the several Poochyena away from him.
The light faded, revealing Akuroma's new form. The Gallade's blades now sported a golden hue, glistening in the sunlight that fell through the mist onto them. His crest was curved more, and the Gallade sported two smaller crests on the tip of his head. Across his shoulders, Akuroma had two cape-like flaps that were now hidden underneath his cloak.
Akuroma stood there as if he were a statue. The Poochyena of the pack barked and whined worriedly, unsure of what to do. That is until their leader barked out at them, causing the frightened dark types to charge at Akuroma.

| Breeze Energy: 6 Items in Use: N/ABreeze's eyes flashed at Lumina's challenge. She planted all four paws firmly on the ground, ready to meet any attack the ninetales could throw at her with all her might. Fire would still hurt her, but not as much as it would hurt other types of pokemon, due to her water affinity. The mudkip focused on the humid air around her, gathering the water in the air in readiness for an attack, or defense, as needed. She new that the dampness surrounding her would at the very least block any exploding moves that the ninetales could come up with. She waited for an attack with a confident grin on her face, allowing her opponent the first move. ------------- Lumina Energy: 36 Items in Use: Heal Ribbon (+1 energy per page) Vulpix Tag (-1 energy to all pokemon rolls)Lumina examined the confident little mudkip in front of her. Breeze met her fiery gaze easily and powerfully, sure of herself and her type advantage. Lumina could admire the unflinching spirit and confidence in the other pokemon, but it would lead to her undoing in the end. Lumina was ready for an attack by the water type, but Breeze seemed willing to let Lumina make the first move -a beginner's mistake that Lumina would correct. Her tails rose into the air, one after another, curling around small yellow balls of power. She launched the tiny balls of light at the mudkip, extending her will as she did so, intending to create chaos and confusion in the water type's mind as the lights spun around Breeze's head quickly. | |

| Oya growled as she stood between a Kriketot and the Audino. After they had left with the items the Zigzagoon had left them with, the pair marched on through the dungeon. However, it wasn't long before Oya disturbed yet another native Pokemon to this area. This time, though, the Pokemon wasn't so keen on letting Oya get away with it.
The pack of Poochyena dove and jumped at Akuroma, spurred on by their pack leader's orders. The Gallade raised his arm up, feeling his muscles itch with power as he waited for the small dark types to draw closer. The first of the little dark types drew near, and Akuroma swung his arm down onto it. Time seemed to slow for a moment once the Gallade's arm made contact with the Poochyena, everything around him appearing to move at a crawl. There was then a pop of air as the Poochyena flew straight down, the ground underneath it caving in a few inches.
Akuroma had begun his counterattack against the Pokemon who dared to challenge him, and the glimmer in his eyes showed he was going to greatly enjoy this.

| Breeze Energy: 6 Items in Use: N/ABreeze reared back at the balls of light surrounding her head. She hadn't been expecting an attack of this sort -she'd been ready for a blast of fire or a tackle, maybe! Breeze went cross-eyed as the psychic attack began to do its work on her brain, causing her to view the world strangely, the ground tipping and twisting around her and Lumina beginning to appear much larger than she actually was. Breeze stumbled back, falling on her butt, blinking at Lumina. "H-how didja git s-so lar'de?" She slurred strangely at the ninetales, confusion marring her features. -------- Lumina Energy: 36 Items in Use: Heal Ribbon (+1 energy per page) Vulpix Tag (-1 energy to all pokemon rolls)Lumina grinned as her Confuse Ray quickly did the trick on the mudkip, causing the smaller pokemon to go cross-eyed and begin to slur her words, dizzy and unable to move very well. Lumina's eyes flashed purple. "Heh, you never should have challenged me, little Breeze. You have a lot to learn, my dear," she purred before unleashing her next move, a wave of purple, sickly energy towards the mudkip. | |
