A Berry Beautiful day. *Attempt Two.*

Aaron enters the Pecha forest. stretching his neck, Getting that kink out of his neck. "Right, two times the charm." It been a while since Silverdawn and him took this mission. And with some few tricks up of his paws, Aaron was sure they could finish this mission no problem. "Alright, Silverdawn. Not only are we finishing this misson, but you're gonna face your fears." Aaron Laughed. He remembered the last time he taught someone how to face their fears. He didn't remember the outcome, but she was really happy from the result. "Now, Remember what we talked about. If we encounter any Nidoran, I'll hang back while you fight it. Don't worry, I won't make the fight go too far, alright?" Aaron pat Silverdawn on her back with his paws. Of course, facing her fears was a secondary objective. Their top priority was to get as much berries as they can before they leave.


"At any case, Let do our best." Aaron took the lead. He been into this Dungeon so many times at this point, he knew what to expect here. Even with his blindness, Aaron was able to navigate the dungeon with relative ease.

Aaron: (20 - 5 = 15)

Energy: 22 - 5 = 17

Silverdawn slithered after Aaron hesitantly. After the horrible way the last Pecha Forest trip had gone, she felt so much shame and embarrassment for causing their team to fail their first ever mission. It had even been a very simple mission! Just collect some pecha berries, and get out of there; that's all they had had to do!

But she had caused the failure of the mission, for her inability to overcome her terror of the Nidoran line. She sighed shakily, listening to Aaron talk about how he was sure that she could face her fears. It was nice that he was confident in her, but Silverdawn wasn't so sure, and her guilt was nearly crippling in its intensity.

"B-but... What if I cause us to f-fail the mission again?" she asked miserably, her head low to the ground in shame.

There was that self doubting again. She have been doing that since they had to forfeit the mission due to her fear. Aaron chuckled at the thought. "Heh, You know, that was the same kind of attitude with an Eevee I help with... Well not exactly, but still." Aaron shuttered the thought of Silverdawn meeting her. He doesn't know how she could handle Alona's sea Pokemon mouth of hers. "She was afraid to fight, yet she wanted to be an explorer like us. So, after hearing some...Earful rants, I finally convinced her to let me help. At first, I didn't think she could do it. But she surprised me in every way." Aaron quickly stopped his pace. "Silver, you'll Surprise me too! I just know it. You just need something to boost your confidence." Aaron is gonna love playing teacher again.

"If you face your fears today, We'll go to this new stand that opened up. I heard that their Berry Smoothie are amazing." First, dangle a reward in front of the student. Make them work for it. If they fail, they simply won't have it. If she accepts his offer, he'll go on to phase two.

Silverdawn let out a shaky breath, turning her head towards her partner, still hesitant. "I... I guess," she hissed softly, still very much doubting her own abilities.

When she heard Aaron mention a reward, her third eyelids slid over her sightless eyes automatically, the ekans equivalent of blinking. She did love berry smoothies...

"I... I guess all I can do is try, right?" she said. "I-if I fail.... w-well... I suppose we'll get to that w-when it happens."

Good, the snake has accepted the offer. Now it time for phase two. Wait for the threat to appear. However, that won't happen for a while. So for now, they would simply search for those berries. Aaron nodded, getting back to walking. "You trying is all I'm asking. If you do succumb to your fears though, I'll help you out. However, no smoothies." Aaron teased. He expected a negative reaction from his partner, but he was being serious. He isn't going to reward her for failing constantly. He would be a bad teacher if that happens, and she'll never learn to face her fears. "Sorry, but I'm determined to help you face your fears. You can't just get a treat for failing constantly." Aaron snicker. This is too much fun! "Alright, now that have been done... Lets find some berries!"

Aaron Knew this Dungeon shift a lot, so the chance of finding some berries are randomized. Their only chance is to keep moving. Eventually they'll find some.

Silverdawn nodded in understanding. She might not like it, but Aaron's logic was infallible. "That's understandable, I suppose," she grumbled.

She cast around the forest at her partner's next words, agreeing that they might as well get going on the reason for their foray into the horrid forest this day: the mission.

She hoped it wouldn't take long to find the berries; the last thing she wanted to do was run into a pokemon of the Nidoran line today. She really, really hoped they didn't run into one. She didn't really care all that much about the smoothie; she was far more afraid of Nidoran than she loved smoothies.

"Good. Now we just gonna-" As soon as he took his next step, he could smell something funny. "Eww. What the hell is... that... Why do I feel... woozy?" Aaron sway side by side, the urge to sleep was on his mind. Was it because of this smell? What was it? The only smell that would be is... "Oh... damn..." Aaron suddenly collapse, snoring loudly. What he just smelled was sleep powder that came out of the Slumber trap. To make things matter worse for Silverdawn, a Nidorino suddenly climbed out of the bushes, gazing at Aaron's explorer bag. While that going on, Aaron was having a pleasant dream about Alona, they started to sing on of her favorite song.

Energy: 17 - 6 (Stamina Band) = 11

Silverdawn froze in horror as the scent of a Nidorino wafted towards her. She let out a hiss of terror when she realized that Aaron had fallen to the ground, fast asleep from a trap embedded in the ground, the weight of Aaron's body having set it off.

Panic gripped the ekans as the Nidorino advanced upon her, growling menacingly. Silverdawn let out a shrill cry as the Nidorino snapped at her, its fangs dripping with saliva. Silverdawn fled behind the sleeping Aaron in spite of herself, cowering from the fear that gripped her.

The Nidorino turned its attention to the weaker target: the sleeping Aaron. The Nidoran rushed at the Deino, letting out a fearsome cry. Something snapped within Silverdawn, and suddenly she rushed over Aaron's sleeping body, and met the Nidorino with a whipping tail, striking the poison type against its snout.

The Nidorino fell back, letting out a cry of pain. Silverdawn hissed angrily and shot towards the Nidorino, slamming her tail into the ground viciously, causing tremors to shake the ground as five huge rocks rose from the ground and struck the Nidorino one by one.

Aaron in his dream state, was finishing up his song with Alona. As soon as they finished, Aaron blushed. He had feelings for her ever since he met her. He doesn't want to deny him the fact that he loved her. He wanted to be with her, be her mate. He doesn't even care about the other Dragon type making jokes behinds his back. As long as he was with him. Aaron started off slow, moving his head towards her next. Soon later, Alona and Aaron was nuzzling each other. "I... Love you."

In reality, Aaron was still asleep, obivious to everything that was going on. He was clearly enjoying his little dream, much so he didn't want it to end.

Silverdawn hissed fiercely as the Nidorino rose to its feet again, growling. She wasn't going to let this Nidorino hurt her friend! Aaron had shown her out of the depression she'd been in; she'd been nothing before Aaron had showed up, and now this Nidorino thought he could hurt her friend? No! She wouldn't let her fear control her any more!!!

She let out a long stream of hisses that slowly became deeper as a strange light engulfed the ekans' body. Silverdawn gasped as her body began to stretch and grow suddenly. She was... evolving! The light cleared after a moment, and where the Ekans had once sat, a huge Arbok had replaced it.

Silverdawn was still blind, but she could feel the energy and power thrumming beneath her newly-toughened skin, and she let out a growl at the now-diminutive Nidorino. The Nidorino took one look at the newly-evolved pokemon with a wide-eyed glance, and then promptly fled into the forest. Silverdawn hissed in triumph, realizing that she had finally overcome her fear of the puny evolution line.

Aaron was still asleep, Snoring happily. In his Fake reality, Aaron stopped Nuzzling the Eevee. It was time to get serious. "Alona... I always wanted to say this... Will you be my mate?" Aaron suddenly dug something out of his bag and pulled out a pink Gummi. Perfect color for her. "With this last piece of Gummi, you'll be what you always wanted. And I'll still love you, even if I get teased." Alona accepted Aaron's Gummi, chewing it greedily. Aaron couldn't imagine how the Eevee evolved, but he can feel it. He was standing in front of a Sylveon. Aaron slowly moved his face towards hers, puckering his lips all the while.

In reality, Aaron still wasn't aware on what was happening. He was too busy kissing the ground unconsciously.

Silverdawn had never felt this way before in her entire life. Ever since she was a very small ekans, still trapped in a hopeless life, tortured by her parents' hate for each other and her, Silverdawn had always felt weak, helpless, and ashamed. She had always felt that the events in her life were all her fault in some way, like some karma from the legendaries for a past life. She'd never felt true happiness for long -every time she thought she'd found it, it was taken away from her.

But now it seemed like a switch had been flipped in her brain. Power coursed through her every muscle, ready and eager to bend to her will. Silverdawn looked back over the course of her life, and she realized that she had been wrong all along. Barely anything bad in her life had happened as a direct result of her or her actions. She didn't have a lot of friends because of her attitude, it was true, but what else could she have possibly done with her experiences?

Her parents were in the wrong for acting the way they did and shunning their only daughter. That Kadabra had been horrid and wrong for taking advantage of her, and murdering an entire town. The original Nidorino had been wrong for spraying her in the eyes with his venom. The Aerodactyl had been wrong for destroying her shop and taking her things. None of these events had ever been under her control, and she needed to stop beating herself up about them, because doing so wouldn't change a single thing. She needed to move on from these feelings and strive ever for a new day, for that's all one can do in life to get happier: try and try and try, and even when you fall, to get up again to try once more.

Silverdawn came down from her thoughts to realize that several pokemon were creeping into the clearing, their footsteps sending clear vibrations through the ground to warn her of their approach. Her tongue flickered out of her mouth to taste the air, and the scents of many different pokemon hit her senses. Zigzagoon, Ledyba, Pineco, Aipom, Tangela -Silverdawn hissed in warning as she used her tail to prod the still-sleeping Aaron.

She might be more powerful in her evolution, but she couldn't take on six pokemon at once! She shook Aaron with her tail desperately. "Heeeey! Wake up, there's sort of a situation here!" She hissed at him loudly.

The little Deino laughed in his sleep, tickled by Siverdawn's prodding. "Alona... Stop...tickles..." After all the prodding and hissing, Aaron stirred in his sleep, shaking his head awake. "W-what happened?" Wait, Why does his mouth taste like dirt? Nevermind that, did he just dreamt about Alona? Why did he dreamed about her? Aaron blushed, trying to get rid of the mere thought of being mates with her and tried to focus on reality. From what he was smelling, There was a Nidorino. However, that smell faded away as it fled. Why was it running away? Aaron was sleeping, so he couldn't of scared it off. And Silverdawn would be horrified to fight it alone. Yet again, they were on their own for this mission, so she have must of scared it off. How though?

That was when he noticed a different distinctive scent coming off a new Pokemon. It smelled like Silverdawn, yet... Somehow, she had a scent of his father. "Well I'll be damned. Not only did you evolve, it smells like you faced your fears. We're so going to have that smoothie!" Aaron praised the Arbok, not realizing they were in danger.

(15 - 1 - 1 - 2 -2 - 1 = 7 *Def Scarf effect, activated.*)

Silverdawn caught Aaron's comments, but was far more concerned about the pokemon surrounding them at this point. "Yes, yes, I'm awesome and amazing and I evolved, but we've got bigger problems right now!" She said hurriedly, waving her tail around the clearing to indicate the pokemon, forgetting that Aaron could not see either.

It seemed like the pokemon had been waiting for some sign of aggression, for when she waved her tail around, they all attacked at once. The zigzagoon charged at Silverdawn in a jerking motion, striking her across the side as she attempted to get the ledyba that was now on her face, off of her.

The two pinecos promptly exploded in self destruct, causing showers of rocks and dirt and twigs to rain down on the clearing, knocking Silverdawn to her side.

Aaron was confused, More problems? "What do you-" Vines suddenly wrap around the Deino, constricting his whole body. "Gah... Really?" It was a Tanglea that attacked him, he could smell it. How is he going to beat him in this situation he was in though? An Aipom jumped on Aaron's back, scratching him with his claws. "Grr... Get Off me!" He can't do anything, not with those Vines holding him in place like that. It hurts, not much, but all of this hurts. Judging from that explosion a few second ago, Silverdawn could be in a more dangerous position. He gotta think of a plan, he gotta... Aaron could hear the Aipom laughing as it kept on scratching. Wait, that laugh sounded... Feminine.

A mental light bulb flashed above Aaron's head. "Ngh... Hey. Gah... You wouldn't hurt someone... ugh... Like me, would you?" Aaron flirted with the Aipom, Hearts came out of the Deino's body and formed into the Aipom. The Aipom suddenly blushed, ceasing her attack. "I-I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me..."
