| First topic message reminder :
Tropical fluttered his wings nervously as he looked up at the scattered remains of the ruined mansion that dominated the dark skyline. His eyes narrowed in worry as they darted to the black clouds that prevented the sun from shining down on the land. Tropical's normally sunny disposition and positive attitude had faded with the sun. He had worried wrinkles pulling at the corners of his eyes and across his forehead, and his typical carefree grin was replaced with a concerned frown.
The disease that had followed the black clouds across the land was a serious one, affecting the very minds of the pokemon, turning them into even less than feral pokemon, driving them to insanity and violence. Tropical's own mother had recently been affected by the disease, explaining much of the worry on Tropical's countenance. It had driven him to this sunless place that stank of rotting wood, where the air trembled with a dangerous energy.
When his mother had contracted the disease, Tropical had gone into a frenzy, trying to find a way to reverse the madness and cure her sickness. He had traveled to the lower lands and found Xatu giving strange advice: a riddle, almost. He had stuck around for a while, trying to get more out of the mysterious but wise psychic. He'd managed to catch some mumbled ramblings, but that was all she wrote.
Tropical had never really been one much for riddles, preferring to garden and bake over anything else, but Xatu's words seemed to be rather straight-forward. After asking around and examining some maps of the lower lands, he concluded that the 'house of haunts' that Xatu spoke of had to be the Ruined Chateau, given that it was an old mansion overrun by ghost pokemon. He hoped to piece together more clues once he was inside and had the chance to look around.

| As Lance was dragging himself across the wall to keep him upright, he saw Sosio in one of the rooms. He got off the wall and walked over to her, almost falling over a couple of times. Getting over to her, he looked at her worriedly. "Sosio, are you ok?" He said with a weak voice. He didn't see anything, but from what it looked like, Sosio got hit by an attack. The attacker, more than likely a ghost, probably went back inside the wall. She was also acting weird, but he ignored that. "Sosio, follow me. We need to find Tropical!" Running towards one of the doors. | |

| Tropical backed away from the candle, which suddenly had eyes and an evilly-grinning mouth. It hopped towards him, the flame on its wick engorging as it prepared for another attack. Tropical winced at the thought of more fire, and blurted out, "WAIT!" The pokemon gave no sign of hearing him and fired another stream of embers towards him. Tropical gave a cry of shock and tumbled out of the way just in time for the flames to barely miss him. Tropical shook his head. "Wait, we don't need to fight!" He pleaded with the candle-like pokemon. "Can't we -" he ducked from another burst of flame "-talk about this?!" The pokemon wasn't interested in talking though, and kept shooting flames at him, sometimes missing as Tropical dodged, but mostly singing his leafy body, leaving the tropius in a lot of pain. "LEAVE ME ALONE!" He finally cried with a huge flap of his wings, blowing a huge gust of wind at the fire pokemon, causing the flame to sputter and the pokemon to fall back in surprise. The pokemon stared at Tropical with wide eyes, clearly not having expected the tropius to fight back, but it quickly recovered and attacked with renewed vengeance, flames spewing from the pokemon and covering Tropical's body. Tropical screamed in pain, his leafy body nearly giving way to the fire. Someone had to come help him before he collapsed! Where were his companions?! - Silver carried out 5 launched of one Ruined Chateau :

| Sosio: {3}
"SQUAWKAIDDLYDOO!" Sosio shouted, cocking her head back, her wings out awkwardly, beak left open towards the ceiling as she stared blankly at the wall behind her. Everything's upside down? THIS PLACE IS SO CRAZY! she thought spontaneously, keeping her current position as she stretched her legs forward one by one trying to follow Lance. She strut like this, unable to see what was in front of her, and occasionally bumped into a wall or two, but somehow managed to keep the Riolu within earshot for her to follow him.
A strange lack of senses had come with the confusion for Sosio, especially common sense, and every one felt sort of buzzed. Even the loud cries for help were drowned out by the weird feeling in Sosio's head. From what she could make out that the strange blue Pokemon said, he said something about a "Tropical". "What tropical place are we going to?" she inquired about, finally lifting her heavy back-drooping head to a slightly more normal position. In turn, however, she was hunched, and her wings were still out and crooked as if she didn't know how to rest them on her side. What she didn't realize, however, was that she was gradually beginning to forget things, the first being ever meeting the Tropius.

| Lance looked back at Sosio. "You sure you're ok?" She didn't look very healthy. "If you need help, let me know." When she didn't know who Tropical was, he looked at her. "Not a tropical place, Tropical. You know, big leafy dinosaur? He's kinda hard to forget..." He continued walking around, trying to find Tropical. "Tropical! Where are you?" He shouted out. If the Riolu didn't find him soon, he didn't know what would happen... | |

| Tropical fell back against a strangely-placed bookshelf in the hall, and the bookshelf trembled under his weight before collapsing on top of the poor plantosaur, scattering items everywhere. The litwick scrambled back to avoid pieces of falling wood, and then shot several bursts of flame at the pile covering the tropius. Tropical burst out of the pile in a panic, frantically stomping at the fire with his feet. He extended one of his vines and grabbed the nearest thing to it, before launching the item at the fire pokemon. Tropical just wanted the pokemon to stop LIGHTING HIM ON FIRE, he'd just wanted to distract it for a little bit. Unbeknownst to the tropius, another orb from inside his bag had been hanging out. In his haste to get away, his bag had tipped, and the orb came crashing out of the bag, shattering on the floor, unintentionally activating it. | Sosio: {3}
Sosio continued, stumbling over her own feet as she walk-dashed after the blue and gray bipedal dog. The beat at which her feet hit the ground with a muffled thump was inconsistent and random, mostly because her legs would twist around each other, the soles of her feet still managing to hit straight, but the rest of her was simply not functioning. Her wings, still out, would involuntarily flap slightly by 10º from the sheer force of beating her feet onto the ground. "OOooooh so we're going to dinosaur times? That place is VERY tropical..." Now, she accidentally landed her left foot behind her leg, twisting it around her right and fell like a stiff tree to the ground, the only thing moving was her head as to bend it up a little to see what was in front of her rather than to faceplant. Her wings were sprawled out on the floor, but if they had been plastered to her side like they usually were, it would've looked like she had been shot down by invisible weighted ropes. She suddenly began struggling and flopping as if those ropes were existent, trying to get up. "AH! AAAA! AAAA!" she shouted, looking as if she were in pain, but in reality she heard a voice in distress that others might not have.

| Lance looked at Sosio. He could tell something was wrong. She was walking funny and acting strangely. "Sosio? I think there might be something wrong with you. We need to find you help quickly!" He said, as she fell, and now looked like she was in pain. Lance knew it might be quicker to leave her here and find Tropical, but then he might not find her again. So he picked her up and continued walking. "TROPICALLLLL!!!!" He shouted out, even louder this time. Where could the living plant be? | |

| (Ignoring Yamask and Drifblim because Trawl Orb :3)
Tropical stared in horror as the results of the tossed orb sunk into his mind.
When the orb had shattered against the litwick's body, the shards of shattered glass had flown apart at first. Then they had changed directions, redirecting themselves until they flew at the fire pokemon, embedding themselves in the pokemon's waxy body. The litwick had started to shriek and scream in utter terror and pain as the shards of glass begun forcing the pokemon's body into a different form.
The litwick started to shrink, and the waxy body turned hard and shiny as the shape began to turn into that of a sphere. The pokemon's fire burned out, and the transformation was suddenly complete. Where once a poor pokemon driven insane -either by the mystery dungeon or the disease- had stood, now lay a seemingly innocent, glittering blue orb.
Tropical let out a wail of horror at what he had done. How?! WHY?! What had he done to the poor litwick?!?! His legs trembled beneath him before giving out, causing him to slump over as he stared at the blue orb blankly. He didn't even notice the sudden appearance of a group of items, drawn to him by the orb that had fallen out of his bag.
He barely even heard Lance's desperate call for him, only a low moan escaping him in response.

| Sosio: {3}Sosio whipped her head around to look at the Riolu so quickly that her legs faltered and gave in below her, eyeing the emanation Pokemon with inspecting eyes. A random classy accent in a deep voice broke out of her throat for no apparent reason: "There's nothing wrong with me, my good sir. If anything, there's something wrong with you."She got up slowly, standing before the Riolu with a disapproving glare, and suddenly broke into a clumsy run through each room, whooping and hollering. - OOC//:

| Lance was taken back with Sosio's random outburst, and then she started running. But thanks to the large amount of noice she was making and the way she was running, he easily tracked her down. She was no longer cooperating with the Riolu, so he tackled to the floor, and clubbed her with the bone-hard white thing on the back of his paw, attempting to knock her out. He heard a loud wail, and it sounded like Tropical, but he had other problems.
(OOC: Any problems with me temporarly knocking out Sosio?)
