Mission Taken: Teaching a lesson


Aaron walked up the hill, hyped about his next mission. "Joey, do you see him?" Joey wasn't his real partner, nor was the little ralts that was with the little Pichu. It's a shame that his partner was absent at the moment, So you maybe wondering; why was Aaron doing a mission with a Pichu and a Ralts? It isn't that he's quitting his own team, Arceus no. Aaron and Joey's team agreed on working together on this particular mission because, simply put, Aaron was a bit nervous going out on his own. Aaron still having trouble navigating around and they provide a good clutch.

Now this Mission... What he heard from Joey, the Dewgong parent's son having trouble following the rules and thus they're afraid he could turn into an outlaw. Its their task to make sure they bring him back without wounding him too much. That might be a Problem to Aaron, considering he always gives it his all when he fights. 'Fight as though you were to kill, holding back is an insult.' Now obviously, Aaron isn't going to kill anyone, And his brother gave him some encouraging words of "Don't push yourself or anyone else." Aaron just sometimes get full of himself when he does fight. but for this mission's sake, he'll try to go easy on the little seel.

The sky seemed calm, the air fresh. A perfect day to be at the pond. However, a trio of pokemon were there for other reasons than to hang out. They were on a mission, to prevent a youth from going bad.

Joey followed a little ways behind the dragon type as they walked into the pond area, attempting to stay close to Azeral as they walked. "No, I don't see him anywhere. Azeral? Anyone else nearby?" Joey had finally understood how Azeral had sensed things recently. Being able to feel their emotions. This somehow excluded dark types from what he was told. He figured that maybe she would sense the pokemon.

Azeral walked beside Joey, she had her hood up and was looking at the ground while she walked distracted, she only snapped back to reality when Joey had asked her if she sensed anything. Azeral gave Joey a small nod and decided to elaborate. "There is someone else here with us, i can't tell who or where they are but i know that someone is here, he isn't really having a positive attitude right now." Azeral said limited to only knowing someone was nearby, it was bad but at least it confirmed that someone was here.

Azeral did take a small look at Joey's friend, Azeral didn't even know his name, though she was sure if Joey knew him he couldn't be so bad, right?

Aaron nodded at Azeral's words. "I can't smell him now, but As long as he's here we should be able to find him pretty easily." A Seel having a negative attitude? There must of been some huge disagreement if he were to try and go outlaw like that. The Deino won't judge the kid for attempting to join the outlaws, but he has to realize the huge cons he must go when he is one. Something Aaron hopes the kid doesn't has to find out. "He's a water type so it would make logical sense that he would be underwater." That's something to consider.

Aaron didn't get the chance to introduce himself to Joey's partner. He didn't know her name or anything about her, but she seems nice. Funnily enough, Aaron knows that Azeral's a psychic type, but he's oblivious about the fact that she's also a fairy type. Maybe its because He never met her species before. Regardless, Aaron stop his track, turned around to face Azeral and offer a pawshake. A small smile formed on his face. "I don't think we had the chance to introduce each other. I'm Aaron. Thanks for letting me join you guys. I don't think I could do that by myself being blind and all."

"In the water... hmmm" Joey thought for a moment. The little pichu then let out a slight chuckle. "I could get him out if he is in there..." the pichu said as he giggled a little more.

The pichu knew that it was a bad idea to go and do this though. Anything within the pond would be seriously hurt if he put enough energy into it. It was something he was not willing to risk though. He only thought it be funny to see how the deino would react to his mild suggestion.

Azeral kept walking mildly distracted by something when she saw the Deino in front of her stop and turn around to face her, stopping herself so she would run into him she saw him offer his paw, thinking she understood Azeral shook it like she would a handshake. "I'm Azeral, and don't worry about it, the more the merrier," Azeral said, one she did she let go of his leg and looked at Joey with a small smile, she knew the Pichu was just joking no one he'd end up doing something like that, right?

"Though in any case if he is in the water we'd need a way to get him out." It was obvious none of them were water types and Joey's idea had a little too many variables that ended up in them failing.

The moment Azeral lets go of his legs, Aaron turn back to the previous direction and kept moving. Joey's idea about electrifying the water caught Aaron off guard. "Uh... Well that could work. The Problem is that We'll be end up hurting Our target badly, or some Innocent. Either way, that something we can't risk. Nice suggestion though." Aaron stopped the moment he smelled the water, they were at the pond. Azeral is right, If the Seel is in the water, there has to be a way to lure him out. How would they do that without frying him in the water remains a mystery.

Aaron tapped his feet, A perplex look appears on his face. "Since He's trying to be an outlaw, he would make some sort of rookie mistake of underestimating his victim. If that were to be a case..." A mental lightbulb flashed above his head. "Joey, how would you like to play the role of the helpless Pokemon?" Aaron grinned at the idea, Wow that was smart of him.

Joey froze at the comment about Joey playing the role of a helpless pokemon. "Wait a second... Wouldn't the seel be afraid of an electric type if they haven't battled before." Joey retorted as it was a valid thought. However, they weren't 100% sure if this child was going to be hostile or not. Joey then looked towards the pond. "hmm. I can get him out of there if he is in there..." Joey said as he looked towards the sky for a moment. A few things he could do might not be available to him at the moment.

One of such methods would be to force some lightning to be attracted to general area. That was only possible if the charge in the air was strong enough for him to force its "hand".

Azeral looked at Aaron for a moment, it didn't make that much sense to do something like that to her considering the type, when she was about to say something Joey intervened saying the exact thing she was going to, Azeral then looked at the water for a moment, at any angle Azeral would be able to get to the Pokemon with teleport, no matter where he went she'd be right there.

Azeral stood staring at the water for a sign of movement, she also waited for Joey to do whatever it was he was going to do, she hoped this would work.

Aaron's Lightbulb shattered into Millions of pieces. "Err... Well... Rookie outlaws targets small Pokemons right?" What the point in defending the idea, Joey was right. If there were a tree right now he would so bang his head. He looked stupid in front of them. "Heheheh... Well how about you Aze-" Aaron was interrupted as Joey claimed he had an idea on how he could get him out. "How would you do that then? I thought we agreed we can't electrify the water?"

Aaron was slightly confused. What are they planning? Its obvious that Aaron isn't much use in this situation, but he would like to help out if he could. "Whatever you guys are planning, What can I do to help?"

"Who said anything about not electrifying the water?" he said with a slight giggle.

"I can try to convince it that there is a storm coming... If I can pull enough energy out of the air." he said with a slight smile. "However, I don't feel enough charge for it to work... I am going to try though." he said as he took a few steps back. He then charged up and fired a bolt of energy into the air. The charge seemed to get stronger briefly and then faded.

After a second or two, the pichu sighed. "Nope... not enough. Whatever charger there was... It's gone now!" he said. "Plan B!" he said as he ran forward as he jumped into the water. He was fully submerged as he went in. Shortly after he popped up on the surface.

"I can limit the power I put in." he said as he dashed off and jumped into the water. This was most likely going to catch aaron off guard once more... Considering it was usually a bad idea to mix water an electricity. However, Joey's idea was to limit the amount he used. This would cause the charge to only affect the area around him. This heavily depended on how much charge he threw into it though.

So, to put it simple. His idea is to chase the pokemon out of the water, while minimizing harm to it from his own electrical attacks.

Azeral gave a small sigh, she knew that Joey wouldn't dare use to much power, even he wouldn't risk it that much and if anything did happen Azeral could just jump in look around grab the Pokemon and teleport back out, and the reason she hadn't suggested this happen was, uh well she kinda forgot that she could do that, would of been the call. Azeral watched the water once more and waited for Joey to do whatever he was going to try, and hoped this didn't end with them getting in trouble.

"Don't worry i know Joey can handle this." Azeral said, though she was doubting this would work she hoped Joey knew what he was doing.

Aaron Heart sank when Joey uttered his first sentence. However, it seems Joey was joking When he mention that he could make it look like a storm is brewing. However, he also Claimed that the charge he was feeling wouldn't suffice, however he would try it anyways. "Well it couldn't hurt to try right?" Aaron sat on his rear and listen to the crackling of electricity coming out of the Pichu's body. Unfortunately it soon faded. Then he shout "Plan B." "Plan B, What do you me-" That Splash was the the very sound that made Aaron's heart miss a beat.

"JOEY! This is way too dangerous!" Oh this isn't good. He said that he would limit his electric powers, but that giggling might prove otherwise. "Joey please for the love of Arceus THINK about what your doing!" Azeral's reassurance didn't help calm the little Deino. All he could do now is pray to Arceus himself that Joey won't end up killing any Pokemon in there.

Joey continued to dive deeper into the water, searching for any pokemon in the area. He didn't release any electrical charge at the moment. He wanted to see if the pokemon was even in there first. After about 30 seconds the pichu started making its way to the surface for air. Once he reached the surface he glanced around for a moment after getting his breath. This time he would have a proper breath.

He then dove once more to continue his search. Eventually seeing a white figure in the distance. The pokemon seemed to have spotted him earlier but refused to reveal itself. Joey then took out his badge to show he was an explorer and pointed to the surface. The pokemon refused to move and Joey shook his head.

He then began to release a small charge that could be felt by electrically sensitive beings. He slowly built the charge until he felt the charge linger to about a foot around him. He then began to swim towards the pokemon. As soon as the pokemon felt the charge it quickly bolted away.

Being a pokemon that was meant for water, it had the speed advantage as it swam. Joey stopped charging the surrounding water as it bolted off. He then made his way to the surface. Once he reached the surface of the pond he took a deep breath as he was down there for a good bit of time. "Yep... Can't do that... He moves too fast... Only other option I have is not something we want..." he said with a annoyed sigh as he swam towards the edge of the pond.

"I think he knows he is in trouble..." he said as he got out of the pond. "He won't come up." he said as he turned towards the pond.

Azeral frowned as she watched Joey get out from the water, she figured it wouldn't work so she decided to do the last thing she could think of. "Just wait right here." Azeral said as she walked towards the water, dropping her bag as she walked she then jumped in, Azeral waited a moment before moving underwater, despite her nothing being a water type she managed to see under the water quite clearly, Azeral looked around till she noticed a white figure she thought it was the Pokemon, Teleporting right in front of the Pokemon with her explorer badge obvious on her coat, the Pokemon tried to swim away but was grabbed by Azeral and quickly teleported back to the surface.

Azeral dropped to the ground though out of breath considering she was down there for a bit, this sadly gave the target enough time to scurry away but it tried going away from the lake instead of towards it, the seel was obviously disorientated having never teleported before.
