Gulp came the sound of a certain Buizel's throat as he carefully made his way around the Pricklemist Hill. And here he was, thinking that this place could not possibly get any scarier or creepier than the Shadowhue Forest. It had taken him tremendous courage to even get through there as safely as he did. Of all of the farther-away locations he could visit to do some exploring and try to get more courage for himself, he had to pick this one. This one with mist so thick he could barely see where he was going. And what's worse, there were rumors about that this place was coveredin Ghost-type Pokémon. The thought caused a shiver to run down the Buizel's spine. He hoped that he wouldn't have to worry about something like that. He knew that Ghost-type Pokémon existed of course, and that they were just ordinary Pokémon like himself...but the fact that they were ghost-like at all still scared him somewhat. Normally, he wouldn't have ever stepped one paw inside of this kind of place. And yet, here he found himself, miles outside of his comfort zone. He had been told that wandering outside of that zone would be the best way to raise his usefulness.
Ultimately, Jet was here for one purpose. To garner up some more courage that he could then put to use as part of Team Mizuchi. At the moment, he was the only active member on the team. That had been extra motivation for becoming stronger and trying to become more fearless, like his team leader or his friends. If he was representing his entire team, he could not be such a coward. He had to come and face his fears. Or at least, so he was told. He let out a small sigh and continued to wander around somewhat aimlessly.
Still...couldn't he have gone ANYWHERE else, rather than jump straight into a place with an atmosphere this creepy? He was definitely not used to jumping into the thick of things. But oh well. He was here, so there was no point in turning back now. He couldn't wimp out of this. So, with that thought, he pushed himself forward. He was determined not to let his fear get the better of him. Besides....
What was the worst that could happen to him out here, fog or no fog?

| Jet listened to the furious roar of the Aerodactyl he had set free. Despite the shiver that the cry sent down his spine, he felt himself bear a small smile. He was actually rather glad that he had beena ble to save the Aerodactyl, even though he had no doubt that he probably would not have gotten the same treatment. He slowly tried to get back to his feet again, only to spot movement out of the corner of his eye. The Fletchling was coming back around for another attack. But this time, Jet was ready. Thanks to the rain, he was able to spin around quickly enough to slam an Aqua Tail at the incoming bird Pokémon. The Fletchling, taken by surprise, was thrown through the air like he had been struck by a baseball bat, eventually smashing into the ground on his back and staying there, unmoving.
Jet did not have long to celebrate the defeated Fletchling, however. The Zangoose was charging him once again and he didn't even notice the white Pokémon's approach in the mist. The only thing he was able to witness was a flash of red and a pair of glaring, pink eyes before he felt sharp claws scrape against his body. "Agh...!" he cried out in pain as his body was thrown down onto his back again at the Zangoose's feet.
Meanwhile, Pterra's sudden freedom seemed to take the Kricketot by surprise. It could not get away as the Fossil Pokémon rushed him down. Just before the pain of the Aerodactyl's fangs came down around him, however, he began to glow a soft, white aura. That did nothing to protect him from Pterra's attack, however. He let out a squeal of pain as the Fire Fang sank into his body, dealing obviously-critical damage.

| Pterra dropped the kricketot to the ground as he heard a cry come from the buizel. Though he hated that he had been saved by the little weakling, he wasn't one to forget a debt. He rose into the air and dove for the Zangoose, his maw opening wide for purple flames to spew at the Zangoose.
The Zangoose shrieked and backed away as the purple flames struck it. Its limbs started to tremble as paralysis overtook it, and Pterra bore down on the weasel-like pokemon, his jaws crackling with electricity. He bit down on the Zangoose, causing it to cry out in pain.
(sorry this took so long; still going to be here and there for the week)

| Jet looked fearfully up at the Zangoose as he mongoose Pokémon approached him. He was lying helpless at its feet, meaning that it would be able to do whatever it wanted to him while he was down. He gulped at the thought, realizing that he could be in some serious trouble now. Especially with those claws bearing down on him like they were. One strong stab and it was all over. He visibly flinched, preparing to be taken down completely due to his exhaustion from fighting a losing battle against the Aerodactyl.
Just then, however, something miraculous happened. The same Aerodactyl that he had been fighting, and that he had subsequently saved, was actually returning the favor. The fossil Pokémon was coming down at the Zangoose and saving him. His eyes widened slightly at the sight. He wasn't sure what to think. He had been so sure that the Aerodactyl wouldn't bother to save him, due to the kind of outlaw he was. "W...wow..." Jet murmured in awe. "Th-thank you...!"
Meanwhile, the Kricketot's body continued to glow as he fell to the ground. He managed to land on his feet, however. And though he was disappointed that the Aerodactyl had switched targets, he was still ready to strike back in just a moment....
{Heheh. that's alright. As it turned out, I wasn't here for the week anyway~ xD}

| Pterra rose into the air, carrying the zangoose with him. He faintly heard the whispered sounds of the buizel below him stammer out a grateful word or two, but the ancient predatorial pokemon was far more concerned with the struggling, sharp-clawed form in his talons to acknowledge the murmured thanks.
He didn't notice the bug below that was still charging up an attack, as the aerodactyl suddenly dove, tossing the zangoose to the ground with a sudden force from the dive and gravity. The zangoose let out a pained howl as it thudded into the ground and rolled with its momentum several feet. It lay in a heap for a moment before forcing itself to its feet and racing away, casting fearful glances over its shoulder at the angry aerodactyl, who glared after it venomously.

| Jet watched in awe as Pterra rose into the air, carrying the powerful Zangoose with him. Now that the Aerodactyl was not attacking him, he had to admit how strong and cool he seemed to be. It was just such a shame that he had to be a villain. If he could have used his strengths for better causes, perhaps the two of them could have even gotten along a bit better. However, he soon shook his head. He could not be focusing on what the Aerodactyl was doing. He had other Pokémon that he needed to be battling right now. And if Pterra was going to take on that Zangoose, then maybe....
He turned to look at the Kricketot a few yards away. That was the same Kricketot that had tied Pterra up not too long ago. And Jet had been forced to help him at the cost of one of his Sticks, not that it was a terrible loss. He needed to help as much as he could now that he was this invested. And he knew just where he could start. He got down on all fours and began to rush forward. he came at the Bug-type Pokémon, but did not approach. He realized that the Kricketot was preparing...something. But in the heat of the moment, he did not think about what it could be. He just wanted to stop him. So, he spun himself around and unleashed a visible blast at him. He was using his Sonicboom attack, sending the shockwave to cause its damage.
However, the Kricketot did not shy away from the sonicboom attack. Instead, he took the attack and tanked it, just like he had with Pterra's earlier attack. This entire time, though, the Kricketot's aim did not falter. He rushed...directly at Pterra. He leaped upward, launching himself like a missile and trying to slam his body powerfully into the Aerodactyl's back, his Bide attack finally getting released. The attack had absorbed the damage done to him by the Fire Fang and Sonicboom and attempted to double it all if it managed to successfully strike Pterra, hopefully while he was busy being distracted by the Zangoose.
