And Seal Your Doom Tonight

The door to the next room was opened, followed by a seemingly random gust of wind. It was as if the house was telling them to leave. Luckily, the two eeveelutions were too far back to really be knocked away by the wind, however the lucario who'd opened the door did not have the same luxury. It was fine though, as the apparent friend of Kira, a surprisingly nice gyarados had caught her.

Sova looked at the group members, one by one. It didn't seem like anyone was interested in leaving, himself included. "Guess it's unanimous. Onward we go.", he stated as he approached the open door.
The first thing that caught his eye was that there were no doors in this next room. There were long tables to the left and the right, lined up perfectly with each other, leaving enough space between them to move through. In the center of the room between the two sets of tables, there was a red carpet leading to what appeared to be a large throne in the middle of the room.

Dusk followed the glaceon through the door, eager to see what was on the other side. She was a bit disappointed at first, seeing only tables and a few chandeliers full of candles. Then she saw the throne, fit for a king.... or queen. There had been nothing like this in any of the previous rooms, no throne. Maybe there was more to this room than what was clearly visible, something special about it!

"Roomy.", Sova commented as he looked around the room, which had an eerie silence to it, making his voice seem.... small.
If this was a throne room, there was probably better stuff lying around than in the other rooms. It was a bit of a downer that he'd have to share with so many others, but at least he didn't have any problems with any of them. There could have been much worse groups of individuals for him to have to share with.

The gyarados moved into the room, he was rather surprised to find that this dungeon was just one room. He blinked, looking around, sure it was a rather large room, but it was merely one room. The large water type remained silent, waiting for the others to look around. He was too big, he would probably crush anything of importance. He glanced down to the eeveelutions and the Lucario. The Glaceon and the Umbreon seemed to be taking in the sights, while Kira moved forward and towards the throne.

Kira looked around, analyzing the room before taking some cautious steps forward. She ran her paw along the table, chairs missing in some parts due to being either smashed or flung across the room it seemed. She wondered what had occurred here, what was this strange place? The throne seemed to stand tall above everything else, and she was almost tempted to take a seat upon it. She instead approached it, climbing up some stairs to examine the rustic piece of furniture. Did a King used to sit upon this seat? What kind of pokemon was it?

Not seeming all too interested in the throne, Sova immediately took to looking for "stuff." Under tables, near walls, in areas poorly lit by candles, anywhere that couldn't be openly seen from far away. To his disappointment, he was finding nothing, though. There had to be SOMETHING here if it was a throne room! Especially since it seemed to be the last room in this place. Then again, it seemed the doors in this house liked to just wander off, so perhaps this wasn't really the "last room" so much as it was just a room that currently had no other doors in it. He looked back at the one door he knew was there to see that.... well, it was no longer there. "Well, I hope none of you were planning on leaving the way we came in....", he commented.

Dusk was more interested in getting a good look at everything in the room than finding treasure. Treasure would be a welcomed bonus, of course, but she was happy with just the exploring aspect. Figuring the throne seemed to be the most interesting thing in the room, she followed Kira up to it to get a better look, becoming a bit mesmerized as she approached. It really looked fit for a king.... or a queen. She turned back towards the entrance when it was mentioned that they couldn't go back the way they came. "What, why n-", she began, but stopped as she saw that there was no longer a door out.
How would they leave, then?

Kira looked to see that the door was gone. Great. Her hope sunk as she realized, this could have been a trap. What if they were locked in here for the rest of eternity, or until they were starved. Either one worked out for the house either way. It was probably stupid to come here. This house was literally a walking trap, it decided when you left and when you came in. They could be kept inside here for as long as this house wanted.
"Stupid.." she muttered to herself. What would Tally have thought of her if she saw her trapped like this? What if a rescue team had to be sent after them, a freaking RESCUE TEAM to save a RESCUE TEAM. Just wonderful.

Proteus glanced at the door, but was not too worried about it. He was confident that if need be, he could easily just bash down the wall full power. The red gyarados looked towards the throne, approaching it and wondering just what to look for in this strange room. Hidden doorway? Hidden chest? What secrets could this place hold for them? He remembered his discovery back at the Submerged Tower, would such a frightening pokemon appear here? Or even the amount of pokemon?

Sova noticed the lucario's frustration, though it didn't seem like anyone else was too worried, himself included. "Well, it's nothing to worry about, we'll figure that problem out when we have to, but till then lets not.... worry.... about....", he began, but trailed off as he felt an ominous presence. Maybe it was just some little bit of fear that he didn't know he could feel, just his mind playing tricks on him, but it was at least enough to distract him for the moment.
Still, he couldn't shake the feeling that something was about to happen....

Dusk stared at where the door had previously been for a moment, not really worried, though she was wondering how they would manage to get out. This house hadn't trumped them so far, surely it wouldn't now. Her attention was taken away from the wall that was now lacking a door as the glaceon spoke up, seeming to get distracted by something mid-sentence. She didn't notice any ominous presence, possibly due to her new dark typing making her less sensitive to ghostly presences, but she certainly noticed that two of the group seemed a bit worried.

Almost as if on cue, a swarm of strangely shaped gray creatures suddenly erupted out of the floorboards near Proteus. The monstrously sized pokemon recoiled in surprise, before attacking blindly at the attacking enemy. Flames erupted from his mouth, and the fiery red pillar of flames shot at the unown as they flew upwards and straight into it. The beast gave a roar, sudden electricity shooting towards him as one of the Unowns used Hidden power on the frightened gyarados.

Kira was not as swift to react, having suddenly been grabbed by rather large hands. She cried out in fear, turning her head and suspecting another confagirius to appear, but it was a Dusknoir. The reaper of the underworld plucked her off the ground, she attempted to fight back, but all she could do was flail her legs and struggle with her arms as she had no defense against Ghost types. She tried to use Blaze kick, but failed as the dusknoir merely held her out farther than her legs could reach.

Dusk hesitated for a moment as little.... living letters broke through the floor and began flooding the room. She noticed both of their new allies were in trouble, but since she liked Kira more and figured the massive gyarados could take care of himself, she decided to help Kira. She maneuvered behind the dusknoir holding the lucario and leaped up at it, only to be knocked out of the air by a large blast of fire from a nearby Chandelure who'd phased through a wall. She flew into the ground with a thud, struggling for a moment to get back up after the hit.

Sova's fur immediately flash-froze into spiky armor as unown swarmed out of a newly formed hole in the floor. It seemed for a moment like the appearance was over.... then even more came, effectively doubling the number of the little alphabet pokemon flying around. Who to help first, he wasn't sure, since they all seemed in trouble, but he had a duty to help Dusk. She was who he'd come here to protect, after all. He took off towards the umbreon, but a disorienting and excruciatingly painful blast of mixed colors from a small group of the unown knocked him off his paws and propelled him into a wall rather hard. A mixture of Hidden Power Fire, Fighting, Rock and Steel. He fell to the ground and groaned with his eyes shut from the pain and a mixture of anger and embarrassment welling up in him from being so easily dealt with by these enemies in front of so many allies.

He growled and slowly pushed himself to his paws, refusing to just give up and lay down. He was beginning to feel the sensation of drifting away that he always felt when.... it took over, but he was not going to let it. He couldn't, not now. The small group of four unown began spinning in a circle, creating a multi-colored orb of energy between them and clearly aiming it for the glaceon. He quickly created a Shadow Ball and fired it at one of the unown, but the small target avoided the attack easily. He then took a deep breath and concentrated his body's temperature-cooling on his lungs, dropping the temperature in that area of his body so low it would have easily frozen most non-Ice-Types inside-out. He then exhaled and blew as hard as he could, propelling a misty breath at the orb in the middle of the four unown. It hit the orb directly, causing an explosion that knocked all four of the little pests out and sent them falling to the ground.

Dusk finally managed to get back up and decided to not attempt to jump at the dusknoir again. Instead, she screamed in its general direction, though the sound of the scream was completely drowned out by a beam of dark energy, shot straight at the dusknoir's back. Her hope was that this would force the enemy to release Kira, or at least distract it. Then again, she was kind of new to this attack, so she wasn't completely sure it would do much.

For a moment, Sova thought he could finally get to helping his allies, but oh no OF COURSE NOT THAT'D BE TOO EASY. Just as he turned his attention back to the others, it was taken away by the sound of a hole being blown in the ceiling. He looked up to see a large, blue hand being pulled back through the hole, into the darkness before an even larger, bluer golem leaped down, slamming into the ground in front of the glaceon. "Get out of my way....", he muttered, but the very large creature simply stood silently in front of him, blocking his path.

Kira remained struggling against her captor, who laughed at how helpless the little fighting type was. She struggled and struggled, but could not free herself. The dusknoir cried out as something struck his back, and turned to face the Umbreon, Lucario still in his large hand. It made a growling sound, before it sent forth a burst of purple fire that lurked forward to burn the eeveelution that had dared to attack him.

Meanwhile Proteus had noticed the large creature that was just as big if not bigger as he. He decided to focus on that one, considering the others might have some difficulty with such a large creature. He had been struck with the Hidden Power, but he no longer cared. He attacked the Golurk, trying to wrap his body around it and prevent it from moving while he used Bite.

((NOTE: I am only posting to finish this thread series with Sova, after this i'm done rping here.))

Just as Sova prepared to fight once more, this time against a much more dangerous-looking foe, the gyarados decided to take it on instead. Normally, he would be agitated to have a possible challenging battle taken from him as if he needed help, but making sure his teammates were alright was top priority, so he was okay with it.... just this one time. He bolted around the two large creatures, leaving Proteus to deal with the golurk, spinning and swatting a sableye out of the way with his icicle-coated tail as he ran.

Then, as if the universe just wanted to mess with him, yet another obstacle appeared. Two swords wrapped onto a sheath of sorts fell from above and he managed to stop just in time to avoid being impaled, instead having the swords stab into the ground directly in front of him. The two living weapons pulled themselves out of the ground before immediately beginning to slash at him, forcing him to back away. "I really don't have time for you at the moment, so can we just skip the fighting and get to the part where I win?", he requested of the newcoming enemy, though it was clear to him that this wasn't going to work.

Dusk felt accomplished for a moment to see that she'd managed to hit the dusknoir, though this proud moment quickly faded as the being simply turned and fired odd-colored fire in her direction. Had she even hurt it? It seemed like her attack was only a mild discomfort to it. After getting over the initial surprise, she tried to move out of the way to dodge the attack, but it managed to just graze her side enough to leave a lingering burning sensation. Her fur was already black, though, so no real physical change was visually evident.

The pain of the burn distracted the umbreon just long enough for one of the flying alphabet-pests to hit her with Hidden Power. Though it was only a neutral Ground-type hit, it was enough to knock her off her paws and onto the ground. She rolled out of the way just as another Hidden Power came at her and crashed into the floor, just barely avoiding it.

Sova growled at the dual-blade pokemon before blowing an icy mist at it.... or.... them, whichever. The attack seemed to do a fair bit of damage despite the resistance, causing it to hesitate before counterattacking. One of the two blades began to glow an eerie red before jabbing forward at the glaceon. He ducked to avoid the attack, then sidestepped to the right just as the blade came down over him, leaving it to slam into the ground and apparently get stuck there. While one of the two blades was stuck in the ground, he bolted for the second one, which was holding the sheath-like object, and swatted his tail at it. However, the blade collided with him, shattering an area of the icy coat around his tail and leaving him with a light wound. Before it could strike again, he backed away and created an orb of darkness in front of his face before firing it at the blade, knocking it out of the air and to the ground.

As much as the glaceon wanted to finish this fight, he had other things to worry about, so he left while his enemy was down to go assist his allies. He reached Dusk, who was on the ground, just before a sableye, swatting it away with his tail. He regretted this action shortly after as he was reminded of his tail wound by a stinging pain. He then turned his attention to the enemy that seemed to be the most threat at the moment, a dusknoir who was currently holding Kira captive. He created yet another of the dark orbs of negativity in front of him and sent it flying towards the ghost, hoping to simply overpower it into dropping his ally.

(Because Sova's a whiny bitch so deal with it everyone.)

The dusknoir merely chuckled as the orb of darkness rocketed towards him, and moved the lucario to take the attack. Kira screamed as the orb struck her, but it had also struck the fingers of the beast. The grip loosened, and she was able to break free and give a round-house kick into the dusknoir's skull with a Blaze Kick. She snarled, a blue illusion of a sword surrounding her as she relaxed her body into a special pose using Swords Dance before she leaped and kicked the Dusknoir once more, sending it crashing into the ground.
"Run you guys! Down that hole!" she called.

Proteus was still constricting the golurk, blasting Water Pulse after Water Pulse at its noggin until it staggered in confusion. He heard the call of the Lucario and released the beast, figuring that they were retreating now and away from the mess of pokemon. The golurk attempted to attack the Gyarados, but ended up missing and collapsing, making the room shake as the Gyarados slipped into the hole and waited for the others.
"Put Dusk on my back if she's unconscious!" Proteus recommended.

"Woops," Sova nonchalantly commented as he realized his attack had hit Kira.
However, it seemed to have worked out, so he just shrugged.  "Not what I was going for, but I guess that works," he thought to himself.

Being berated with attacks and having to keep up with such a chaotic mess had finally gotten to Dusk and for a moment, she'd zoned out, finding it difficult to keep track of everything happening.  Sova was suddenly near her, Kira had been released, they were.... fleeing or something?  She didn't really snap back to reality until she heard her name spoken by the gyarados.  She shook her head in an attempt to escape the trance-like state she'd fallen into before hopping up off the ground, ignoring the pain of her injuries.  "I'm fine!," she insisted.

The umbreon quickly bolted towards the hole, having heard Kira's directions.  However, she stopped as she realized Kira didn't seem to be coming.... nor did Sova!  "H-hey, aren't you two coming!?," she questioned, worried about leaving her allies.

Sova completely ignored Kira's order and was about to reply to Proteus when the umbreon in front of him got up.  "Guess she's fine," he stated with a shrug of his shoulders.
As Dusk questioned if he was coming, he chuckled.  "What, and let her have all the fun?  No way.  Besides, I've got some unfinished business with....," he paused and looked around, as if counting the enemies in the room or looking for someone in specific.  In reality, he was just making a joke.  "....Everything here.  Now get going," he finished.

Dusk hesitated to reply, but she eventually spoke out.  "No, I'm not leaving without y-," she began, being cut off by the glaceon bolting at her too quickly to react to.
She felt a sharp pain in her side, before everything went black.

Sova, not in the mood for trying to convince the umbreon to get to safety, decided to simply just take matters into his own.... paws.  He darted for her and with one swift headbutt to to the side, knocked her to the ground and out cold.  His icy armor began to fall apart as he pushed his head under the now-unconscious umbreon and lifted her onto his back before moving towards the hole.  "Okay, NOW she's unconscious," he commented as he moved to pass his cargo to Proteus.

The gyarados glared at the Glaceon, giving quite an obvious look of disapproval for attacking the teammate. The monstrous creature retreated anyways, taking the ex-fluffy and retreating into the pathway they had discovered. Proteus found himself in a large and long tunnel, there was a light at the other end of the dark passage way, normally one would say not to go towards the light but he figured it was different here considering there was a mob of angry pokemon behind him.

Kira prepared herself, delivering a good Blaze Kick into a ghost pokemon, but when she moved to use it again a chandelure intercepted her and powered itself up. She swore under her breath, but that swear changed to a scream of terror as the chandelure glowed a bright red before a pulse of heat erupted from it in an Over Heat. The lucario was blasted back and into the hole, skidding across the ground slightly before falling into the pit unconscious.

Given she didn't exactly have much of a choice in the matter, Dusk was carried away. She was for some odd reason dreaming about walking through a forest with a strange pain in her side. Oh whatever could be the reason for that?

Sova merely rolled his eyes at the glare, as nonchalant as usual. He was surely going to get severe backlash for what he'd done, but he didn't have time to think about everyone's precious feelings. Lives were more important than feels to him, after all. The instant the gyarados was out of sight, he spun around and faced the many dangerous enemies filling the room. He first aimed to finish his fight with the Doublade, bolting towards it as his fur once more began to freeze over into a coat of ice-armor. The two blades had recovered by now and one immediately attempted to jab itself at him once he got in range, which was exactly what he was hoping for. He sidestepped to avoid the attack and continued running to get to its hilt before it could retreat. He bit onto the hilt and swung the blade-pokemon into its ally.... other half.... thing? As the two blades collided, he released the one he'd held onto, allowing them both to crash to the ground.

It seemed he was finally going to get to cut loose, but just as excitement began to flood his emotional state, fate once more taunted him. He noticed the chandelure preparing for an attack and immediately recognized it as Overheat. Bad. Bad. BAD. BAD!! He did his best to quickly freeze the air around him into as thick of a Blizzard as he could, swirling it around him and almost completely shrouding him from view just as the blast of heat erupted from the fire-ghost. It just barely managed to burn through his snow-shield, luckily not doing any severe damage to him, but he had a much bigger problem now. He could have sworn he'd heard a scream just as the blast went out. Sure enough, Kira was no longer in her previous position and the only place she logically could have gone was the hole....

"Well, looks like I'm gonna have to cut this short," he commented loudly enough for everything in the room to hear him as his Blizzard reformed and picked up in power. A few of the ghosts in the room attempted to break through it, but to no avail. Melee attacks actually ended with them merely hurting themselves. After about ten seconds of preparing the Blizzard, he let it loose, coating the entire room in white snow. The candles lighting the room went out all at once from the force of the wind and, of course, the snow hitting them. He then bolted straight for where he'd remembered the hole being, trying to get to it and help Kira before the enemies in the room recovered from his attack. As he neared the hole, the candles began to.... re-light themselves, apparently, revealing that some of the enemies were indeed still standing, raising up out of the snow in an eerie fashion.

The glaceon leaped down the hole, rather than attempting to deal with everything in the room. If he were alone, perhaps, but.... he had others to worry about at the moment. Specifically, if he were to die and Kira was in the hole knocked out, she would likely follow. Sure enough, he almost immediately found the lucario, allowing his fur's armor coating to melt away so that he could carry her without harming her. He pushed his head under the lucario to lift her onto his back before running in the opposite direction of the room, towards what he noticed was a light of some sort. An exit! It was at this time that he realized how much of a pain running with just his natural speed was. Why again did he decide to choose glaceon for his evolution? It certainly wasn't the movement capabilities.
