Dusk sat down and took to silently worrying that she was going to feel like this forever. Wait, worry? It seemed like her temporarily dulled emotions were beginning to return to normal. What a relief, she definitely didn't like whatever had happened to her. She then began observing the room, it was very large. It was a lot like the rooms they'd previously been to, lit by candles and such. Her attention was taken to something more important, though, as Sova awoke, seeming rather startled.
Sleep always included nightmares for Sova, the only exception was sleep when he was knocked out. Even then, only sometimes. This time, he'd avoided the.... usual nightmares, though a more bittersweet dream decided to visit him today. At first, it was just him, in the guild, with a leafeon.... his mother. They were looking at the bulletin boards, picking out a mission to do. This was by far the best dream he'd had in a very long time, but sadly, it didn't last. The walls of the guild seemed to freeze over, turning into an icy cave in seconds. He looked back to his mother, only to find the normal green and tan coloration of her being changed to a red and black, menacing coloration.
The dream that used to be a happy one was suddenly nothing of the sort. The.... thing lunged at him and just then, he leaped up out of his sleep, exclaiming, "NO!!"
He then fell on the floor because he'd leaped up off of his ride. 10/10 would jump again. "Ooow....", he muttered as he looked around, trying to figure out what'd happened. Yet another nightmare, though honestly, it was still pretty good compared to his usual nightmares.
Dusk's ears perked up as the glaceon sprang to life, then to the floor, but still to life! For some odd reason, she was happy to see he was okay. Well, more okay than he was, albeit having fallen on the floor. "Sova!", she exclaimed she rushed over to him, wanting to make sure he was okay.
The sudden turn of events had completely snapped her out of her emotional haze.
"Meee....", Sova muttered in response to the umbreon as he got up.
"Uh.... where are we? Still in the chateau?", he questioned as he surveyed the room, spotting two doors.
Of course, he had no clue which one they'd come from and which one they were going through.
