A Knight, A Spy, and a Princess

Ramira padded along silently once again, thinking over the past events that had happened at Small Pond when she met a certain Tyrunt by the name of Victoria. It had been really interesting, as she had called herself a princess when introducing herself. 'She's gotta be founding some new kingdom or something....' The Zorua thought. The dark type could probably ask later, as they were already at Blackmist mountain, and she was sure Victoria had other things to tend to at the moment. Maybe she didn't, but the Zorua could never really tell with anyone.

Once again Deimos had found himself at the base of the mountains known as Black Mist... He had slowly but surely began to better understand these mountains, it wasn't particularly much but this was what he originally set out to do. His first reaction was to focus on the beaten path until he reached a point he viewed as satisfactory from which to depart. He didn't particularly know of any sort of Kingdom that could be present, that was far from his mind.

In silence he walked up the path, keeping a careful eye on his surroundings in order to avoid being surprised by any ambush that could have been set up, better safe than sorry after all. Deimos wasn't aware at this moment in time that Ramira was here, this was one of the rare occasions in which his thoughts weren't being controlled by how he felt.

Victoria huffed as she approached the mountain, the absol of this region had begun to peak her interest. She had heard of them before, but never thought that they had made homes and built tribes here. The small dark colored tyrunt huffed as she walked along, wondering if she could make some kind of treaty with them, get them to help her kingdom or perhaps assist in recruitment. Maybe they could send some of their knights over to protect her kingdom until it gets on its feet? She would definitely have trouble building it up if someone were to come along and try to destroy the seed before it could grow. So what to do?

Ramira's eyes seemed to sparkle when she saw the mountain fully. "It's so pretty...." She muttered with no sarcasm. The mountain was definitely huge, and very, very rocky. Well, actually, all mountains were. The Zorua facepalmed and told herself not to say something about a mountain or other landform that had the same feature as any other. Getting over her small moment of stupidity, the dark fox noticed a familiar white shape a little further ahead. "Deimos..?" She whispered, thinking if Victoria heard her randomly mutter such things at random she would think the Zorua was crazy.

Deimos slowed down for a moment, taking a better look at his surroundings to try and identify an area to check today... There would have to be some place that could be checked... But where? As he did so he noticed a familiar face behind him... Ramira? What was she doing here. Deimos changed his priority rather quickly, walking over to and gently smiling at Ramira. "I most certainly was not expecting to see you here..." Deimos commented, being completely truthful as he had no idea she had been here potentially before he had arrived.

Victoria was lost in thought, not really paying attention to where she was going. She continued walking onward, worrying for her kingdom and not noticing the absol and the zorua nearby. The tyrunt huffed in frustration, where was Veriq when she needed him? The tropius was almost always around, but whenever she actually had a question he would always disappear. She knew it was not on purpose, for the tropius would likely lay down his life and everything he had for her, loyal to the bone, but what was the use of a tactician when he was not around to discuss tactics? It was not like she had some sort of adviser or something.

"Oh, really? I didn't expect you to be here either, love." Ramira responded with a grin. She definitely didn't know Deimos was planning to come here. Why, though? It just seemed so.... random. The Zorua didn't know if he knew she'd be here or what, but it was just kind of a strange coincidence. Sadly, she had pretty much no time to ponder over this, as an Absol with two Pokemon following behind it jumped from a ledge, a smirk on its face. 'What the... who is THAT?' Ramira thought, now utterly confused. Why would an Absol just come out of nowhere when.......? Nevermind.

(Well judging from how you both started off I guess we can just say they split up at some point and now they both found their way to the mountains)

To begin with Deimos was still smiling but as soon as he heard her response, a sudden surge of red came across his face, clearly visible due to his white fur... Love... He'd never had someone call him in such a way before, in a way it felt a little embarrassing to hear that in such an open environment. It faded relatively quickly however, Deimos trying as best he could too keep it in control. "Love you as well" Deimos responded, going off of what she had called him he figured it had been appropriate to say.

It didn't take long for him to sense a sudden change in the airflow and resistance as a trio of Pokemon showed themselves. Deimos shook his head and then turned towards the new arrivals, a calm, collected look upon his face. "Can we help you?" Deimos asked, figuring that he might as well check to become certain of their intent, to see if happened to be filled with malevolence or if they were just another group of travelling Pokemon.

An Absol, a Mightyena, and a Cubone approached the group, a solemn face on the absol while the others seem to glare with hatred and intimidation. The absol approached the group, it glanced to the other absol, interest sparking in its eyes while it seemed to detest the zorua.
"You have invaded my turf, state your business," the absol spoke.

Meanwhile, Victoria was still wandering about, but seemed to have finally taken notice of a group of pokemon. One of the pokemon was a familiar face, that Zorua that had traveled with her to Blackspear. She noticed that some locals seemed to be around the zorua, was she being attacked? The tyrunt watched from afar for a moment, before approaching, "What's going on here?"

"Fantastic! Another intruder..." the cubone moaned in sarcasm.

"I've only come to see the mountain itself." Ramira said, giving the Absol a glare. She then proceeded to do the same to the other two Pokemon, but it seemed the Mightyena wasn't affected. The Zorua didn't know about the Absol yet, either. He seemed really calm. Why? The Zorua didn't move, a frown now forming on her face. What did these 3 Pokemon want, anyway? Money? Items? His group seemed more like they were out for dominance than anything else. This made the Zorua irritated. Who were they to think they were more powerful than others?!

Deimos did the equivalent of a shrug when the Absol demanded he state why he was here, claiming it to be his territory, that much he considered a lie, he'd travelled this path numerous times before and they never were here before. He took note to the look of hatred Ramira was given... What did this individual have against the Zorua species? "Merely passing through is all" Deimos spoke in order to respond to the question, technically what he was saying was accurate since he was merely here to explore and better understand the mountain.

He heard another individual now speak, clearly not one of the trio in front of him due to the Cubone's words. Glancing towards this new individual he recognized it as a member of the Tyrunt species, the colouration seemed a bit different than he had read it being however.

"Then could you please pass through and sight-see on that way? I can't trust strangers to not take food, so please get moving or else my friends and I shall have to make you do so by force," the absol responded, giving a glare at the tyunt as she approached.
Victoria did not seem to mind the glare. She just blinked in confusion as it seemed that her question was ignored. She looked to the familiar zorua, then to the absol that seemed to be with the zorua. They were being driven out of this territory...she thought for a moment before speaking up, louder to make sure she was actually heard and could not be ignored accidentally, "I apologize for being on your territory, we will make leave as soon as possible, me and my peasants...right?" she looked to the two, expecting the zorua to recognize her and nod along with the other absol to go along with them. It would be disastrous if she were attack an absol for reasoning that could have been avoided, she was here for peace, not war.
(Author's note: She's calling them Peasants because that's what she calls friends, she's not being rude that's just her terminology)

Ramira nodded. She didn't really care what she was called at this point, as long as she got away from these dreadful bullies. Stepping back, she walked over more towards Victoria, and stood her ground there, but looked peaceful. On the inside, she was roaring with fury. How could they just drive them out like that?! Last time Serena was here, she hadn't said there were any territorial Absols! What on earth was wrong with this trio altogether?! This was extremely, madly, insane! The Zorua's fury died down after a bit, fortunately, because at that point she would've attacked the trio themselves.

"I see... I apologize for any problems our presence caused" Deimos spoke, trying his best to handle the situation politely instead of showing aggression, he didn't want to cause needless violence. Deimos turned back towards the path and started walking... They clearly were not wanted in this particular location. Deimos mentally did take note of what the Tyrunt had called him... Why a Peasant? He was by no means some random Peasant, he just happened to be a traveller was all. He also took notice of how Ramira reacted to her presence... Did she know the Tyrunt or was she just playing along? Deimos couldn't tell.

Victoria seemed to lack a single yes from the two, but the zorua's walking near her spoke the body language of agreement. She turned, moving to lead the two away from the territory, in the opposite direction. She could feel the stares of the other pokemon drilling into her back as they watched them leave, but she did not mind. She did not blame them, for they were merely protecting their territory. Food around here must have been scarce and difficult to come across, so it was only necessary to be territorial, especially against the feral pokemon who only care for themselves.
