From storm to storm

Joey

A pichu had walked into the town alongside a shinx with a ralts on top. The ralts looked to be in bad condition. Having bruises all over it. The pichu seemed to be worried about the ralt's injuries. Joey led the shinx to the Azeral's home. The storm from earlier seemed to be forming again as they walked. Joey could feel it in the air. He looked up in the sky but it was clear as ever. He felt a little worried about it. This kind of thing has only happened to him one other time. The wind was starting to pick up. Although it was very light. By the time they make it to the house. It will probably be extremely windy and the storm might be upon them. If this even is a storm. The energy felt like it to Joey. However he saw no clouds. Not from that point of view at least.

Arashi, along with Joey and Azeral on her back, walked into town. The air smelled of storm, but she wasn't too sure, since there were barely any clouds in the sky. It was an eerie feeling, one she hadn't felt in a long while. "Hey, Joey..." The Shinx said, "...do you feel what I'm feeling right now? About a storm?" It just didn't seem right to her. There must be something going on with the weather, but she couldn't exactly tell what it was.

Joey
Joey looked up at the sky as Arashi had said that. He did indeed feel the immense energy in the air but could not tell where it was coming from. There was no wind to give a hint at the direction from which the energy was traveling from. "I feel it also..." he said. "It is unlike anything I have ever felt before..." he said with a hint of worry. He usually loved storms but this was too out there to be normal. He wanted to try something real quick. "Wait right there." He stepped back a bit to make sure that no one was going to get hit with what he was going to do. He then held onto the ground giving him the best amount of area to discharge energy if he needed to. He then shot some bolts of energy up into the sky. It did not return immediately like it usually did. He was about to get up but then it shot back down. He grabbed onto the ground as tightly as possible attempting to discharge the massive amount of energy the bolt had... He successfully managed to do this however it was a bit more then he can handle. "ouch... Too much." he said as he shook himself. He then ran back over. "This can't be normal. Lightning doesn't usually have that much power..." he said as he waved for arashi to hurry to the house. They were probably half way through town to the house by now.

Arashi, now knowing to stay away from Joey when he did this, backed up a few steps. As he sent up the bolts, she watched them fly up. Them not coming back down made her think that it failed, and safe to walk towards Joey, but they soon came back down, and she jumped back again. "Wow, that looked like it hurt a bit." Arashi commented on the strong lightning that fell from the heavens.

She ran off towards Joey, "So, how much longer until we get there?" The Shinx asked, passing by passerby and homes and shops along the way. Most of them didn't seem to notice anything out of the ordinary. The Electric types did seem a bit confused, though.

Joey
Joey looked towards the direction of the house. It was on the other side of town. "We have to get to the other side of town." he said with a hint of worry as the energy in the air was getting a little stronger with each passing minute. "I don't get it. Why is the energy getting so strong...." he said with an even more worried tone. He loved the feeling of energy but this was just plain scary to him. Never in his life had he felt this kind of power...

"Other side of town, huh?" Arashi looked over where Joey was looking. "That'll be no problem for me. I may not look it, but I'm pretty fast!" The Shinx grinned at the other Electric type, "Although, I may be a bit slower with Azeral on my back, but it'll be alright." She then ran off to the house she saw Joey looking at, careful to keep the Ralts on her back.

Joey
Joey smiled as the Shinx noticed where he was looking for the house. She was heading in the right direction. It was one of the bigger buildings in town but on the far end of it. He started sprinting alongside the shinx. He managed to keep up for a good portion of the time. Only lagging behind every so often. As he ran he was picking up a lot of the energy from the air. Causing him to have sparks fly off his cheeks every now and then. He was not excited though like the sparks coming from his cheeks did when he ran with excitement. This was just from being completely full of energy from the air. The sparks was made from the static electricity on him and the air around him.

"You don't look so hot," Arashi commented on the Pichu's sparking cheeks, "Once we get to the house, you may have to rest." The Shinx continued pushing on through the other Pokemon enjoying their day. Soon, the trio had found themselves at Azeral's home, which was fairly big. "Well, what are you waiting for, Joey? Open the door." She said with a grin, but a worried tone in her voice.

Joey
Joey looked over to Arashi as she made the comment about him not looking to hot. He wondered why for a moment. Then he realized his cheeks were sparking the whole way there as they ran to the house. Joey opened the door and led Arashi inside. He hoped someone was there to help Azeral. "Angel! Are you here!" Joey shouted hoping to see if she was around. He did not know what to do. His cheeks slowly stopped sparking as they got inside. He looked a bit tired from the running. The sky outside although was cloudless moments ago. It started to have clouds form quite rapidly. Soon becoming quite dark outside.

Azeral was getting light headed. She felt like something bad just hit her over the head. Wait something did hit her over the head. She slowly blacked out again. Angel was there and she heard Joey. "Oh Joey Azeral just in ti-" she stopped there as she saw her daughter on the back of some Pokemon. She slowly walked over and picked Azeral up. Any objections to this would result in a swift kick. "What happened" she asked not as a question more like demanding she found out.

Joey looked towards Angel and explained what had happened. As he did the storm started to drop an intense rain outside. Lightning soon following afterwords.

"A tree had branches fall on her at the pond as the storm came from nowhere." Joey stated in slight fear of Angel's demand. "Arashi helped me get her home." he ended for now. He glanced outside as a bolt of lightning struck the tree outside. The same tree that had the hole in it from the ball lightning the other day... The tree exploded into many pieces of wood. "Wagh! as much as I pove storms. This is crazy!" he shouted out of fear.

The storm was getting intense. "Is Azeral going to be ok?" he asked Angel.

Angel looks outside then motions them to the house. "Then come in" she said as she walked into the house. She was still holding Azeral but didn't teleport to her location. She walked over to her room and set Azeral down. "Told her not to go" Angel said she had a bad feeling before but she assumed it was the storm. "Thank you both" she said as she looked at Azeral. "She will be fine" Angel ended with.

Joey
Joey looked up to Angel. He was glad that she said she would be alright. Then a loud crash came from outside. It was a bit louder then thunder. The loud clash of sound came with a very bright flash from outside the windows. It was obvious some kind of lightning made the sound. It was quite intense out there. Too intense for the Pichu to even enjoy the lightning. He sighed as he watched the storm go on... "May I stay with Azeral?" He asked Angel. "I want to be sure she is ok..." he said softly.

Arashi had been silent the entire time. She was still guilty, still thinking that this was all her fault somehow. Even though she hadn't caused the branch to fall off the tree, she still couldn't shake the feeling away. When they were invited to come in, she isolated herself away from the others. She watched as lightning crashed down from the sky. She overheard the conversation going on between Angel and Joey, and her spirits were lifted when she heard that Azeral was going to be alright. At least she hadn't caused major damage to the Ralts. Yet, she continued to sulk near the window, watching as more lightning rained down, trees crashing and thunder booming.

"Yes you can Joey" the Gardevoir said as she looked at the shinx. She walked over and bent down next to the shinx. "It's alright from what Joey told me there was nothing that could be done, don't blame yourself for this there was nothing you could do" Angel said as she looked outside at the storm. She hoped anyone caught in the storm would be ok.
