Grocery Shopping

What a lovely day, it was sunny and the Pecha Forest was peaceful and tranquil, at least for the time being. Skylar, for one, didn't want to let this time go to waste. She was exploring the forest, hoping to find some berries. She was pretty low on items and was hoping to take this time to collect.

Though, even if she didn't manage to find any berries, it was still a great day to just be out and about. At least, it was for the moment. Hopefully nothing would ruin that.

Another Eevee, Geo seemed to be running into a lot of Eevees lately. Interesting. Geo was out looking for Oran Berries when she arrived, but it couldn't hurt to have some company. Especially if that company was also looking for items. Geo hadn't been running through the trees, looking for oran berries would be easier done at slower speeds and closer to the foliage on the ground. "Hey! Uh... Eevee!" She ran up to the other pokemon, "My name's Geo."

Skylar's ears perked and she looked in the direction of the voice. "Uh....me?" Of course, she was the only eevee around, who else could this sylveon be talking about? Wait, a sylveon? It looked so pretty. Sky had never seen a sylveon before. "Oh, uh, I'm Skylar! Nice to meet you. You can call me Sky if you want." She said, a bit surprised by the random outward interest Geo had taken to her. The sylveon seemed very eager to talk.

"Nice to meet you Sky!" Sylveon smiled warmly, "I came here looking for items, I thought it might be nice to, well, you know, have some company..." She thought back to how she evolved, reminded by Sky being an Eevee, "So, do you know how you plan to evolve? I... I actually evolved by accident." She laughed sheepishly. She wasn't unhappy with her evolution, in fact she had become quite comfortable with her evolution, but it still seemed like such an odd event.

Skylar shrugged. "I haven't really thought much about evolving. I guess I could be a vaporeon like my mother, but...." She thought about how silly a vaporeon with a fear of water seemed. Everyone would probably just assume she lived in the water. That'd create so many awkward, embarrassing situations.... "Well, just....that might not be the best choice. Besides, there's plenty of other choices. That's one of the nice things about being an eevee." She said with a smile.

"Maybe I'll evolve on accident like you, then I don't have to choose." She joked, hoping to take some attention off her comment about vaporeon not being a good choice. She didn't really want to end up talking about her embarrassing fear.

She nodded understandingly, "I wouldn't stress about it too much, if I were you. I mean... I think you'll figure it out. Stressing out about the future is not worth your time, if you ask me... but its easy to do. Feel free to throw that advice away, if you want, it's just been my experience." She leaped up into a tree, getting comfortable.

"Thanks! I won't throw that advice away. I won't worry about evolution, I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually. There's no need to rush it anyways." She replied to the sylveon. Geo seemed nice enough, maybe they'd make good company. "Hey, you said you're looking for items, right? Me too. We could look together if you want." She offered. At the very least she'd have some help.
