PMD - Echoes

You awake in a forest... the trees are layered dense enough that they shade you from the heat of the sun, but not so dense that the forest itself is dark. If you look up, you could spot the golden rays of sunlight filtering in through the trees and spreading dappled patterns across the forest's floor. The dusty ground itself is littered with different types of grasses and ferns, even a few brightly coloured flowers here and there. It's clear that the soil here is good for small plants to thrive, even amongst the dense populace of trees.

You would take a moment to wonder why it is you are here... but you already know. You're travelling of course. What other reason would anyone have to pick such a random place to nap within a forest?

Your name is Brooke, and you are a young Petilil. You are a quiet and reserved type, the sort that often ends up being overlooked when working in a group. You find that you are easily relaxed and have an overly positive mindset that can at times be rather obnoxious to those who aren't used to it. You enjoy almost all foods, with the exception of anything bitter tasting and though you are mostly calm and collected, find that you can sometimes be uncharacteristically reckless. Perhaps's that's part of the reason why you are where you are right now. You also have a deep seeded love for travelling and exploring, though you are a little sad that you don't have anyone to share such experiences with.

The area you are travelling through is a place called Bountiful Wood; perhaps one of the safest of the many dungeons that make up this world. It is widely known for the vast amounts of fruit and berries that can be found here, along with how placid it's residents are. Despite it's many sights and smells, you don't pay too much attention to your surroundings as you wake, bleary eyed and plan how to continue your journey.

If the directions you were given were correct, you should near the end of this small wood within the next few hours if you keep going, and by sunset reach your destination! With this thought in mind and a small yawn as your body adjusts to the waking world once more, you consider your course of action. You could search for some food or water before you move on, or you could get straight to it and continue your travels.
