Akuroma walked towards Pecha forest, his new form as a Gallade still quite fresh from evolution. It wasn't the easiest getting used to, seeing as he was much taller than when he was a Kirlia. Not to mention his emotion sensing capabilities seemed to have diminished some. Had the then-Kirlia had known that, he might of not minded evolving into a Gardevoir instead. However there's no changing what happened, and Akuroma planned on taking full advantage of his new form.
He'd have lots of time to practice, it seemed. Violet from the dojo had too many customers to train him just yet, meaning he'd have to wait on learning Close Combat and Night Slash. At least Pecha Forest would be a good place to train his new form.

| As the pair of Pokémon began their attack to protect the sleeping Gallade, more Pokémon began to join the battle. The Aipom retreated, having only wanted to prank the Pokémon and not end up in a serious battle. The Weepingbell wiggled on its branch fiercely from the Silver Wind attack. A Phantump appeared from out of the ground and used an Astonish attack on the Nincada, while a pair of Exeggcute began to bomb the area with Seed bombs to hopefully hit the pair of Pokémon and their sleeping ally.

| "Oh you have got to be...", the Nincada muttered under his breath as he smelled further Pokémon approaching. The Gallade still was sleeping, so they could not expect any help from-WAH! All of a sudden a Pokémon that appeared to be a small tree stump appeared directly in front of the Nincada's face, scaring the latter greatly. Staggering backwards in fright, the jumpy Bug type was wondering whether this was the spirit of all the trees he had ever leeched sap from, out for vengeance now. But just as quickly as the Phantump had appeared in front of him, it had disappeared again, making the Nincada wonder whether it hadn't just been a simple hallucination. Breathing heavily, Ned then intended to take the opportunity that had presented itself, launching another Silver Wind at the Exeggcute, hoping to make use of their strong weakness against Bug type attacks. | |

| Arietta watched as the Aipom retreated, leaving her and the Nincada with one less pokemon to combat. Quickly switching targets, the Fletchling spotted the two Exeggcute that were using Seed Bomb. Dodging their random attacks using her smaller size, Arie observed as the Nincada used Silver Wind. Getting an idea, the Tiny Robin Pokemon dived down from her high vantage position and into the silver wind. Spinning as she flew, she hoped to protect herself from the move by dispersing the wind around herself, but she hoped to also use it to power up her own Tackle attack. Now heading straight for one of the Exeggcute, she launched a Tackle whilst still spinning, hoping to score a direct hit on one of them.

| As the battle continued on, several Pokémon seemed to hang back, not knowing if they should join in or not. That was until one of the Exeggcute used an Uproar attack to try and stop the advancing Fletchling surrounded by Silver Wind. Unbeknownst to the Exeggcute, its screeching attack had awoken a Gallade who was in no mood to be woken up. The several small Pokémon who had previously been staying out of the fight now began to run as the Gallade stood up, towering over most of them.
Akuroma walked over to the Exeggcute and grabbed a hold of one of its members, tossing the egg-seed Pokémon as far as he could, prompting the group to stop its attack to go after its airborne friend. The other Exeggcute retreated as well, not wanting to end up separated like the other.
"Now then, who's the one who put me to sleep?" he asked, looking at the remaining Pokémon, the Weepinbell soon beginning to bounce away from the angered Gallade.

| Ned would have chuckled or grinned maybe at the Exeggcute's lack of forethought and its careless waking of the Gallade, had there not been one other thing. As Ned was nearly blind, his hearing was substantially better than that of most seeing Pokémon and so he now had quite the painful headache from the loud Uproar that had left his cranium ringing. Now, considering that most of the Pokémon that had initially attacked them had been defeated or sent fleeing already, Ned believed for it to be better not to intervene in the leftover combat. Akuroma held a type advantage over the Weepinbell, so he should easily be able to defeat it while him intervening would probably - as usual - cause far more trouble than it would do good. | |

| Arietta's ears probably weren't nearly as good as Ned's, but the Uproar performed by the Exeggcute served it's purpose to stop her attack. She was forced to slow down and stop diving towards the egg-like pokemon due to the waves of power coming from the loud noise, the Silver Wind that surrounded her dying down in the process. Before she could think to act again, the Gallade had gotten back to his feet, woken by the very same Uproar attack and scaring most of the pokemon into retreating. With a small, suppressed sigh, the young Fletchling landed neatly on the ground, disappointed and slightly irked that she hadn't really been able to do anything despite her efforts. Nevertheless, she was glad that her new friends were safe and that no one had been injured in the attack. - Solilo carried out 1 launched of one Pecha Forest :

| Akuroma glared at the retreating Weepinbell, swinging his arm back as it gained an eerie green glow before throwing it forward, the wave of psychic energy racing towards the Grass type until it exploded on contact. "So, I didn't miss anything while napping did I?" the Gallade said as he looked down at the two other Pokemon. He looked over at the Fletchling then the Nincada. They didn't seem harmed in his eyes, at least not physically, so they must have done fine without him awake. | |

| "No, you didn't miss anything. You didn't attack at all, so how could you miss anything?", Ned responded, thoroughly unaware of the intended meaning of Akuroma's statement. Innerly the Nincada sighed in relief as all the enemies seemed to either have been defeated or to have retreated to where they had come from. However he decided to refrain from voicing this relief as his past experiences have taught him that it would only inevitably lead to him having to follow yet another Pokémon around as they tried to help him train while all he needed was to wait long enough for that one specific moment to finally occur. The moment for him to shed his old skin, take up to the skies, spread his wings and soar. But it would take a long while for that day to come. At least he didn't feel very evolution-y right now. | |

| Arietta stifled a small chuckle at the Nincada's more literal interpretation of the Gallade's words, not wanting to upset him should he take offense to her laughter. The Fletchling then took to the air again, not particularly a fan of being on the ground for long periods as the air was a much more fun place to be. "So, I guess they're all gone, at least," she commented, flying higher so that she could watch a few of them disappear into the forest's undergrowth. Arie turned to head back down and see what her two new friends wanted to do next, but before she could get far, she was rudely knocked out of the air by another flying form.
Crashing into the branches of a nearby tree in her surprise, it only took Arie a few moments to get back to her feet and identify what had attacked her. It was a Hoothoot, still hovering a short distance away, seemingly quite proud of itself.

| "Oh, someone's got a smart-aleck mouth now, huh?" he asked the Nincada, followed by a chuckle as he looked up at the Fletchling. "Aw? They don't wanna play anymore? Too bad, guess we'll have to find some more to have fun with." he said as he began to walk off. Akuroma looked back up at Arie ass he heard some branches groaning as the small bird hit them, their leaves rustling from. He grimaced slightly, unable to help the Fletchling from down on the ground. What made it worse was that she and the Hoothoot were too high for him to properly aim his Psyshocks. It would be a bad day if he accidentally hit the Fletchling instead of the Hoothoot. - Dracorexion carried out 7 launched of one Pecha Forest :

| Just as it seemed that all danger had been removed from the area and that it would finally be momentarily safe to be out in the open again, the Flying type seemed to had met with yet another Pokémon - another Flying type apparently. "You're kidding. You're kidding, right?", Ned sighed resignedly, slowly losing all hope for ever having a peaceful moment again. Just what exactly was wrong with him that he always ended up in so much trouble while doing his best to stay clear of any and all of it? In any case, now was the time for battle strategies. A Flying type would be difficult to defeat, especially with as limited an arsenal as the Nincada held. The Hoothoot was flying far out of reach of both Leech Life and Fury Swipes. Silver Wind meanwhile would not only be ineffective, but additionally run the risk of injuring the friendly Flying type once it were to raise into the air again. Sadly this situation seemed all too familiar... | |

| Oblivious to the Gallade and Nincada's thoughts below, Arietta spread her wings once more, taking to the sky in one swift movement and attacking the Hoothoot that had attacked first without warning. "Oh no you don't!" she cried, charging towards the Hoothoot that sought to cause more trouble where the fights had already subsided. Arie's body began to give off a trail of white as she flew, using Tackle as she attacked the Hoothoot.
Having ample time to prepare, the Hoothoot was able to dodge Arie's attack rather easily, taunting her with a hoot as she soared past it. However, the Hoothoot didn't seem to be aware of the Fletchling's quick reflexes and Arie quickly looped round and attempted to attack a second time.

| As Akuroma watched, he noticed yet another Hoothoot flying at the Fletchling, ready to join in the sky battle. However, the Gallade failed to notice three Pokemon approaching them from the ground. Suddenly a Pineco jumped up at him, the bug type glowing a bright white before suddenly it exploded, sending the Gallade skidding backwards, trying to keep from falling over.
Groaning, Akuroma shook his head before he looked up, seeing a Ledyba and Tangela fast approaching, seemingly not discouraged by the Gallade's presence.

| As Ned was busy watching the battle between the Flying types, unable to really contribute to the situation, suddenly his attention was caught by a bright flash of light, coupled with an intense, thundering noise and - perhaps most importantly - a shockwave, that picked up the Bug type and threw him quite a distance until finally he came to rest against a tree. However the shockas well as the force of impact made it rather difficult for him to realize what had happened. Not having a clue, what to do the Nincada was left with no other options but to stumble around helplessly, trying to regain control of his senses so that finally he might be able to notice the other foes that had approached and might be able to help defeat them. | |

| Thread Locked due to no desire to continue as we are unsure of the active status of one of the RPers and the duration since last post has been pretty long |D
We'll end the thread with the assumption that we defeated the wild pokemon, but shortly after Aku spotted a group of explorers that were also exploring the forest. As a result, he decided to Teleport away before he was recognised by them, leaving Ned and Arietta to make their way home by themselves wondering why he suddenly left as he did.
Also Aku gave Arie a Joy Ribbon and she is very grateful /shot
