| The wind seemed to die down, as the Archeops that had carried both herself and Vesper to Silent Temple landed by the steps. Avaria took the moment to stir herself somewhat, moving out of Acro's grip and dropping to the stone steps below, immediately sitting down on them and leaning back. The sun hadn't gotten any less intense, along with the heat, but they would enter the temple soon enough, and hopefully it would get cooler in there. The oshawott's head was pounding as her vision wobbled in and out of focus, as her paw reached for the bag she carried with her and rummaged through, pulling out a seed. She tossed it in her mouth, making sure not to swallow it as she sucked on it, getting the nutrients. "Well...at least you didn't drop us." She remarked with a wry smile to Acro, giving the closest thing to a thank you she planned on giving him. Her speech was somewhat garbled though, having a seed in her mouth as she spoke. The Oshawott squinted somewhat, looking closely at him to make sure he did indeed have Vesper with him.

| [Energy 61 - 26 - 5 - 5 = 25]
"oops.." Acro spoke, looking behind him to see a Vesper lacking even the movement of breathing on the sand
The archeops nodded his acknowledgement and gratefulness for the oshawott having thanked him in her own way. He stood on his two legs once more, looking up at the massive temple gates. Somewhere inside here, was a secret, could this temple keep it? He had to guess that the Temple was probably going to be a rough place, he hoped the roselia would waken soon, for it would then be able to battle against the dangerous pokemon within and he wouldn't have to worry about guarding two heat exhausted pokemon at once. He didn't quite want to be held responsible for the death of yet another pokemon.

| The Roselia had no idea how long she had been unconscious. The last thing she remembered was entering the desert and feeling the searing heat on her body. Though the sunlight would allow her to feed via photosynthesis, the heat generated by the lack of water or shade had been just too much.
Stirring gently, Vesper's eyes fluttered open. Her mouth was dry and she felt like she'd been scorched in a forest fire if she was entirely honest, her limbs aching even though she'd been carried through the desert rather than walking. Lifting her head off the ground to get her bearings, Vesper immediately regretted the decision when the dull throb of a large headache welcomed her back to consciousness. "Desert's really aren't all that hot, huh," she muttered to herself sarcastically, her words not entirely forming a coherent language. She didn't seem to notice the others, closing her eyes again and covering her head with the roses that tipped her arms in a weak attempt to get the headache to go away.

| The Oshawott looked up at Acro as he seemed to stare at the gates leading into the temple, before getting up and pivoting so that she could do the same. The sooner they got into the temple and got out, the better. Before she said anything, Vesper's voice caught her attention as she looked over at the Roselia, noticing that she had muttered something to herself but not quite catching what it was.
"Well, you look like you've had a rough day." Avaria understated, spitting the plain seed out into her paw and tossing it into her bag as she stood up, already refreshed with the help of her reviver seed. "How are you feeling?" She stepped over to where Vesper had ended up, looking through her own bag as she did so to see if she had anything to help the Roselia with. Despite the situation of having almost quite possibly died in the desert, she kept a calm tone of voice. After all, it wasn't worth panicking about in her mind. All it would do would cause more problems if they worried about it.

| Across looked to the rose pokemon with relief as she seemed to waken and speak. "About time you woke up, are you ok? Not hurt too bad or anything?" He questioned the roselia, hoping that the roselia was well enough to walk about on her own. The oshawott seemed rather calm about the situation, the roselia as well. He took the lack of concern as a sign that everything seemed to be fine and well. He waited for an answer, completely oblivious to the two's status as they showed no signs nor has he seen any wanted posters of the two. Even if he did, there was nothing to distinguish them from the thousands of other roselia and oshawott in the world.

| Vesper blinked at the sound of Avaria's voice. Had the heat affected her so much that she was imagining her friend's presence? Lifting the flowers that adorned her arms from her aching head and looking up with squinted eyes, the Roselia couldn't help but smile as she saw the Oshawott. Pulling herself to her feet -with some speed considering the headache she still felt - she grinned, "Well it definitely isn't my favourite day of all time, but it's probably a hundred times better now." The earnest smile turned into a half grimace as Vesper rubbed her head, hoping to reduce the pangs of pain she could still feel, "What are you doing here anyway?" she asked before a second voice made her jump. If she'd had any hairs, they'd probably be stood on end as she turned and saw the huge Archeops that had asked the questions. "And who is this guy?" she asked from where she'd darted behind a small rock in her surprise. | |

| Ava gave a small smile, acknowledging what the Roselia had said but not feeling any specific need to respond. She wasn't going to say anything sappy about being happy to see her. The Oshawott watched as Vesper seemed to finally notice the Archeops that had brought them both there, and walked over to the rock she had hidden behind.
"Well, as for me, you know. Chasing rumors, looking for fortune, the usual." She responded with a shrug. It wasn't a lie really, more like a half truth. That was what she usually did, she just hadn't mentioned the bits that would be on the illegal side. "And as for him, his name is Acro. He's a guild explorer, found you knocked out in the desert, and found me a little further in." Avaria continued to explain, turning and glancing back at Acro before looking back to the Roselia, deciding to make sure Vesper knew they were with a guild member. After all, neither of them were exactly known yet as far as she knew, and now that she knew who they were with Vesper could make sure of that if she so pleased. "How are you doing now that we're here? Feeling tired?" She asked Acro, deciding to get that figured out. After carrying two pokemon through the desert, she figured he had to be tired, and she wanted to know if she would have to keep an eye out on both Vesper and their escort.

| "A bit fatigued, but otherwise fine I guess" Acro responded. He blinked and tilted his head, unsure of what else to do other than wait for the duo. "We should probably get moving," he suggested, "For all we know, we're giving time for pokemon to see us and set up an ambush," he looked into the entrance of the temple once more, wondering what treasures could be held within. He still had no clue of the two's status, to him they were just two friends that were in over their heads and he was helping them out as he had with that Eevee back in Furnace Peak. | |

| Vesper held back a small flinch at the mention that Acro was a guild member. Great. Luckily no one in Grassveil Town or the surrounding areas seemed to have clued on that she, or Ava for that matter, were in fact thieves or 'outlaws', but that didn't mean it was fun pretending you were something you weren't when there were guild members around. At least looking for treasure wasn't illegal, otherwise they'd probably be in quite a pinch right about now.
Vesper used her arms to pull herself up the rock so that she was hanging on and could see the Archeops over the top of it. As much as she was glad that she wasn't left to burn to a crisp out in the desert, she wasn't exactly happy about being stuck with the guy now that they'd reached the temple itself. "Thanks, I guess," she said a little begrudgingly, not looking straight at the Archeops as she tried to show a little gratitude to him for his actions. The Roselia then slid back down from the rock and dusted herself down, ready to move on as the giant prehistoric bird had suggested.

| "Well, alright then. If we're all ready to move on into the random temple in the middle of a desert, let's go." The Oshawott declared with a shrug, deciding to move first and making her way to the entrance. Really, who would want to come out here and live on their own? I get the whole isolation thing, somebody seeking a quiet place to live and think about things. But why in the middle of an environment like this? Because it discourages visitors or something else? And if it's to discourage visitors, I doubt they'll be all that happy to see us. She thought to herself, trying to get even the slightest idea of what to expect from the place they were going to. | |

| Acro nodded, following the oshawott, he hoped that any pokemon in the temple hadn't overheard them. He didn't know much about the silent temple, just that pokemon here were supposed to be somewhat strong, and the maze was complex. He wondered if the Gardevoir even wanted to be visited, it sure did not seem like it with how she's set up camp in the middle of a desert, surrounded by nothing but sand and in a temple where one has to go through a complex maze just to get to her. - Kat carried out 5 launched of one Silent Temple :
