The youthful Fletchling let out a sigh. She gave up on trying to make it through Shadowhue Forest. It was hard enough as it was here. There was just too many... Bug types... Sosio thought with a shiver. Who would've thought a bird, of all Pokemon, would be afraid of an insect? That's exactly what was so queer about her. She was 'special' as her adopted family would say. She achieved more than she meant to in a matter of days, but at the same time, didn't. That's why she's back to square one... again...

Energy Level Remaining:

Marie the Happiny went out on her second adventure but this time it was just for training. now that she knows the forest a little she can now lead the way and start exploring the dungeon with her temporary partner who was named... well she forgot. as she arrives at the entrance of the dungeon she can see a flying type standing there
''Heya Im marie, you must be my temporary partner'' she said with a smile

Sosio heard a shrill voice speak as the pokemon approached her. She was no longer startled to find a Pokemon like herself in random places anymore. It seemed to be a strange natural thing in these 'dungeons'.
"Why, hello, little one!" Sosio said with grinning eyes, feeling oddly out of character today. "My name is Sosio. What ever might you be doing here?"

It seemed to be a natural habit around young Pokemon to sound smart and sophisticated. If it where a Pokemon her level, she would just end up sitting on their head. In this situation, Sosio wanted to seem... smart, and approachable, and even a bit admirable. No matter the Pokemon, the Flying-type much preferred some company on her explorations.

Energy Level Remaining:

Marie felt like this pokemon was a little more friendly than the last partner she had ''Im here to train'' she said with a smile ''im waiting for someone but i dont think they will show up'' she said while scratching the back of her head
'' how are you today on this wonderful day'' she asked while examining Sosio (what a cute little pokemon)she thought while waiting for an answer

Sosio was somewhat happy to hear the pokemon's answer.
"Training? Awesome. I simply train during my journeys. It's only natural."
Her eyes shined her emotions proudly. It was easy to tell that the bird was happy.
"I'm quite..."
The Fletchling stopped herself.
"Well, actually, I'm here because I gave up on my dream... I can't make it through the next forest, so I'm heading back to town... I was alone and depressed until you came along, so I'm happy now."
Telling the truth made the flying-type feel so much better. Whenever something went wrong, she would tell one of the Venusaurs back at the jungle. They were always kind, affectionate, and supportive. Fortunately, the to-be Fire Type constantly found new friends that were the same way. This "Marie" was her latest.

Marie could not believe what that Sosio said.. giving up on her dream...
''well one thing i got to say now is to never give up on your dreams, even if they take a lifetime to accomplish, even if they require sacrifice and if they seem impossible to do.'' she said with a serious look on her face then she added
''i can't wait to accomplish my dream'' she said with a cute little smile

Sosio turned to look at the youthful Pokemon, in shock of what was said.
"Wow... You know what... You're right. I should pursue my dreams no matter what! Starting with evolution, I will make it to the Land in the Sky!"
Fire sparked in the bird's eyes. This was the Fire of Determination, and now nothing will get in her way. Even creepy bug types.
"Now let's pursue your training goals, get through this mini forest, and.... Well... Yeah, I'm not very good with words. Let's just go," She chirped with a smile.

The little robin Pokemon fluttered along the ground, being sure not to leave her newest partner behind.

Sosio's Energy Level:

''now that's the spirit'' Marie said while following the flying type
''all we need to do is find some pokemon to fight and go through this little forest''she said while thinking (for her this is just a small forest but im barely able to fight by myself...)
''so i wonder how that when you enter a dungeon, it is different than the last time you entered it'' she said while playing with her pink hair

Sosio stared ahead while trotting along with a stiff torso, alert while listening to the earth and movement, but understanding her partner at the same time.
"Well, it's about the ruined time and space. The universe is altering specific areas depending on their properties, and those places we call 'dungeons'. They're constantly shifting, giving a different layout each time. Some dungeons do have an end, and those always stay. The reason, I never kn-"
The bird stopped dead, head cocking. She pressed the side of her head against the earth, listening as if it were the most interesting thing she had ever heard. Finally, she lifted her round head, her beak pointing at the different directions when glancing. At last, she made her decision and gestured her wing to the left.
"I heard a lot of activity and movement coming from that way, which means it's either the right way to go, or a lot of Pokemon are there for some reason. So what should we do?

Sosio's Energy Level:

''i think its a huge gathering spot for wild pokemon... i read that in a book, if we go there we might be in trouble'' she said while shaking a little
'' can we find an other way or do we go ahead anyway, im going where you are going'' she said with a smile on her cute little pink face

Sosio thought for a short moment, her eyes scrunched up in a squint.
"Maybe it is best to go the other way." She stated simply, staring as if reciting it.
"I encountered one of those 'gatherings' before. It was a evolution ritual for the natives there. It was odd, but amazing."
The red-headed bird hopped down the pathway to the right, flutting occasionally over rocks and roots. It was a long narrow pathway, which lead to a right turn. She flipped in that direction, and headed straight, only to find herself at a dead end.
"Well, at least now we know which way not to go. She chirped with a giggle.

Marie could only feel like she was followed by something but when she turned around there was only a tree standing there doing nothing, then she walked a few steps then turned and the tree was right behind her...
''this is creepy'' she said as she hit the ground with her foot, which made part of the ground go up, then she punched the flying piece towards the tree
''Have some mud bomb creepy tree'' she said as she saw the angry face of the tree
''wait this is no tree , Its a SUDOWOODO'' she yelled as she looked towards Sosio : Its a rock type , dont get hit or else you will be hurt''she said as the Sudowoodo used tackle on Marie

The Fletchling kept walking despite what Marie said.
"What do you mean by that? I'm pretty sure we're perfectly fine, little one." Sosio stated without the least bit of concern.
Suddenly, a yelp from her partner startled Sosio. She turned around to see a Sudowoodo attacking her acquaintance.
"Don't worry about me getting hit, just protect yourself. Use some super-effective moves if you have any." She said, taking flight, turning around and using a well-aimed Quick Attack. She struck several times in her turn, avoiding as best she could and landing a few tackles, realizing she wasn't dealing very much damage on the misleading type tree.

After leaving another tackle and swiftly returning to the Happini in air, she cheered
"See? I can avoid those moves faster than--"
A large amount of weight suddenly struck her back, knocking her to the ground. The Sudowoodo took its chance on Rock Throw at the bird and succeeded. Sosio was squished against the ground, legs bent uncomfortably behind her, her wings sprawled out to the sides. She was hopeless that way.

Sosio's Energy Level:

Marie did not see what happened to Sosio since she was concentrated in her fight with the Tree pokemon
''NOW IM GOING TO DEFEAT YOU'' she yelled as she used a lot of mud bombs and finally defeated the Sudowoodo but when she turned towards her friend... she was under some rocks
''oh no'' she said as she rushed towards Sosio and started to get the rocks away from her bird friend
''man these are heavy...'' she said as she got at least half of the rocks off of Sosio 's body and wings

Sosio's wing twitched. She tried to lift her head but failed miserably. The pain stopped, which was actually worse than feeling the pain. Birds have extremely thin, light, and hollow bones. A light grip could've broken her wings, even. The bird's feathered arms still felt as if they were being weighed down. She was able to turn her head to see the other wing and her tail still coated in rocks.
She felt somewhat enraged for no reason at all.
My tail... My tail doesn't have bones! I don't need it! She yelled within her head, trying to scoot backwards to free her body from its connection to her tail, only to pull a muscle above her shoulder blade. Her feet spazzed about as she tried to force them to bend and land on the ground. Her beak looked somewhat twisted or bent or cracked, but could've been worse if she had been looking up. It bend downwards as she store in a frown at her wings. She might not ever be able to fly again.
