If a thread is complete but it just falls shy of 15 Pages (In my first thread's case, 14), what happens?

You don't get the page. You also need to participate actively in a page in order to receive the page, for example a thread with five people would require three posts in order to count since that's the maximum amount that person can post in order to fill the page.
