» Likes:

• Large bodies of water - They're fun to swim and splash around in! A water pokemon loves water, after all!
  
• Protecting the innocent - Like a noble knight, Dreyar loves to protect those who can't help themselves. It also helps that he's had experience with being one of those helpless innocents.
  
• Sunbathing - When laying on the beach, Dreyar loves to get into his shell and sunbathe, especially after a long swim.
  
• Apples - They're so tasty and addicting!
  
• Sweet Foods - Bitter and Spicy just don't do it for Dreyar, he just loves the sweet stuff!
  
• Friends - Gotta have lots of 'em! Not just to have, but they're really fun to be around, too. They always come in to help you when it really counts, too.
  
• Exploring - Dreyar has a love for exploring, almost enough to make him an explorer, all he needs is that one little push to get him to join an exploration team.
  
• Training - Dreyar knows very well how cruel the world can be, so he trains everyday to better himself as a pokemon and as a warrior.
  

» Dislikes:

• Bandits - Bandits were the ones who ambushed him as a child, so he has a natural dislike for them.
  
• Spicy Food - Blech, spicy stuff.
  
• Dried up areas - For a water pokemon, dry places are a nightmare.
  
• Making enemies - Dreyar would rather make friends than make enemies.
  
• Bad attitudes - When someone snaps at him, Dreyar's reaction is to immediately snap back, which tends to get him into fights.
  
• Darkness - The fear of the dark, so common. But it's more than just a simple fear, for he knows that ambushes happen often in the dark.
  
• Arachnids - Now this is an irrational fear. Any arachnid, pokemon or not, will scare the holy bejeezus out of Dreyar.
  

» Personality: Dreyar is a child at heart, of course, but he has the mentality of a noble knight, just like the Blastoise of his homeland. His ultimate goal is persistent, as he wants to simply protect those who can't protect themselves, as he was when he was young. He can't resist a cry for help, even if it goes against his better judgement, as he's always willing to lend a helping hand. He's very bold and noble in his cause, which makes him a bit intimidating to those who would try to do wrong, but to those young and pure of spirit, they could look up to him as a hero or role model.

» History: Dreyar was born on the beaches of Rainfront Town. His mother was a Blastoise, and his father was an Empoleon from the distant Frozen Stream. His father returned to the Frozen Stream shortly after Dreyar hatched, not being able to withstand the heat of his mother's home. Dreyar's mother had to raise the child by herself, which was a little difficult, since the young squirtle was constantly going out by himself to explore. It was on one adventure into Cattail Marsh that the young squirtle was attacked by multiple poison-type pokemon. Naturally, he retreated into his shell for protection, which was a huge mistake. Dreyar was smoked out with poison gas and his shell was scratched and hit to the point of breaking.

At the last second, when Dreyar was to give out and die from poisoning, his mother came with the rest of the blastoise, and a quick yet decisive battle ensued. Dreyar didn't see the whole thing. He passed out shortly after hearing his mother scream in pain. When he woke up, he was met with the smell of burning pecha berries to help ease his poisoning. His mother came in, limping a little bit. Dreyar nearly burst into tears. The valiant blastoise had lost a leg and a cannon, but she smiled to her son like nothing had happened. On the child's own shell was a large scar.

It took a little while to recover almost completely to the point where Dreyar could at least move normally, although he still had to wear the Pecha Scarf. As he got older, his mother taught him how to fight, so that he would never be that helpless again, and so that he could protect others just like his mother. Dreyar is still very young and weak, but he trains everyday to make himself a strong Blastoise just like his mother.

» Other: Large scar going from the top right of the shell to the bottom left, not too deep, but noticeable from a medium distance.

You Can't Handle the Coral - 0

Well, this is a very good bio but there are a few things you need to add and change. In the species section of your bio you need Squirtle's classification (the _____ Pokemon) and national Pokedex number. For your moves you need to mark how/when you learn what's listed and for your likes and dislikes you must explain why your character likes/dislikes what is listed.

The last two big things that need to be changed are that you need the female parent to be the same as your character's species. Also, you cannot start off with a Pecha Scarf or any accessories.
