Atshushi "Rai" Chino, Captain of the 5th Squad:

Name(Translation if applicable): Atshushi "Rai" Chino

Race: Soul Reaper/shinigami/death god/whatever else they're called ._.

Appearance: the picture is his basic look, though his eyes are a vibrant green. He also has claw like blades hidden under his sleeves. He only uses these when he's unable to use his zanpakuto. (he also uses them when he's in his Gigai).

History:
--Before Death: Rai was part of a wealthy military family, though no matter how they tried to please him, he rebelled. He developed an interest in fighting and swordplay as a young child and this aided in his time as a spirit. Rai only lived up to the age of 17, so there was not much he accomplished that he finds worthy of speaking of.

--Before Shinigami: He had died in the year 1945 during the nuclear strike on Hiroshima. As a normal human spirit, he quickly gained the ability to use his spirit power to his advantage, which he used to enter the Shinigami Academy after entering Soul Society.

--During Shinigami: Rai was very competitive in the Academy, which aided him in graduating early after only 3 years of attending it. He entered 5th squad soon after and moved up the ranks quickly, becoming the 3rd seat quite quickly. After the war against the Arrancar exploded, the 2nd and 1st seat of his squad were killed in an ambush, and he was appointed captain after completing the test.

Weapon Abilities;

Normal- Can detect the slightest electrical impulses made by any living thing (or dead, kinda confusing since souls die when they're already dead) this ability becomes more sensitive into the other forms.

Shikai-
~Arashi no chinmoku (Silence of the Storm)- The scythe blades glow a bright yellow and begin spinning rapidly. If a person is cut by the blades they become the target.
~Arashi no hōkō (Roar of the Storm)- The blades detach themselves from the staff and home in on the target, if they hit something, they'll return to the staff unless directed back to the target by the wielder (much like how Byakuya controls his). If they do not return within a few seconds, they will detonate and regenerate on the staff.
~Arashi no sutoraiki (Strike of the Storm)- The wielder's arm and weapon become covered in blue lightning. The voltage is so high it can cause magnetism to occur, allowing the ground around the wielder to break apart and float around him. If the wielder has a high enough control he can control the floating ground enough to make it into projectiles.

Bankai-
~Seiki (Spark of Life)- A large area is completely enveloped in high voltage electricity, from a distance it is in the shape of a leafless maple tree.

Extra Skills(Kido, Strength, Speed, Tactical mind, etc.):

Rai is able to use shunpo (flash step) very well, and he uses it for many different things other than dodging or just getting from one place to the other quickly.

He rarely uses kido as he believes it to be useless when actually battling. Even so, he knows an extensive amount of Bakudō (way of binding), specifically Kyōmon (mirror door) to protect people and Eru Esukūdo (the shield) to block attacks when he cannot use his soul slayer to deflect it. Another one he uses regularly is Hako Okuri (farewell box) to send things to another place, many people call him "lazy" for doing so. The actual "binding" spells he uses are Seki (Repulsion) which paralyzes the enemy when the barrier is attacked, Sekienton (Red Smoke ) to confuse enemies and escape an attack, and Hyapporankan (Hundred Steps Fence) to completely immobilize an enemy. Inversely he knows little Hadō (way of destruction) and Healing spells, the only Hadō spells he's used frequently are Byakurai (pale lightning) and Tsuzuri Raiden (Bound lightning). He is frequently seen trying to practice Raikōhō (Thunder Roar Sear), suggesting his amount of power is a great amount, as he can perfrom the level 60 Kido.

Rai focuses primarily on his physical abilities and quick thinking. He doesn't not give any of his techniques names, though for the most part he uses taunts to have his enemy attack first, which he quickly dodges then counter attacks. He is also known to have a battle drawn out for longer than it should so he can study his enemies techniques.

Appearance:
Shizu looks a lot younger than other arrancar like her, being shorter than most and having very immature features. Shizu has long black hair and pale skin. She wears a jet black scarf that covers her mouth along with her neck. This conceals her hollow hole which is located within her neck, and the remains of her hollow mask; a few jagged teeth(*) and fragments of bone that run along her jaw on the left side. Shizu's eyes are a bright blue colour, a stark contrast to the darkness of her hair and scarf.
Shizu wears a simple, white long coat, the edges of which are black, along with the edge of each sleeve. She also conceals her zanpakuto beneath this coat. Underneath, she wears a simple black shirt and skinny black trousers. On her feet, she wears black, flat ankle boots.

(*) Her hollow mask can be seen in her resurrección form, the 'teeth' are those from her mask. There is a pic linked in the Abilities section below.

History: Shizu has never really told anyone about her history because she keeps to herself and tends to only communicate with others when necessary, however, being an arrancar, Shizu was once a hollow. Shizu is unusual in that she still remembers her human life, though she chooses not to speak of it to anyone, instead retaining the facade that she is like most others and does not remember.
Shizu was murdered at a young age by her own parents, which is why she looks so young now as an arrancar It is also the stem of the reason why she has such issues with trust and feels the need to know what is going on around her so she is able to predict the actions of others.

As a hollow, Shizu devoured the souls of humans until the void in her hollow heart was so substantial that ordinary human souls were no longer able to sustain her. Beginning to prey on fellow hollows, Shizu became a Menos, continuing to devour the souls of other hollows, until she became a Gillian, and then an Adjuchas.
After becoming an Adjuchas, Shizu met a fellow Adjuchas by the name of Kakure Shinwa. The cheerful bird-like hollow somehow managed to befriend the solitary dragon Adjuchas and from then on the two watched each other's backs, preying on weaker hollows and continuing to grow in strength. A short while before Shizu became an arrancar, Kakure disappeared, leaving Shizu alone once more with her trust betrayed. Saddened by this event, Shizu focused on getting stronger, devouring more hollows until she was discovered by the espada and turned into a powerful arrancar.

Usually kept sheathed and hidden under Shizu's long coat, the sword's guard is silver and takes the shape of two crescent moons facing away from one another. The hilt and sheath are jet black.

Weapon Levels/Forms:
-Hanenoken - Shizu can summon jet black feathers that act like multiple sharpened blades. They can be used for attacking, or the flat side can be manipulated to act as a shield. Shizu is able to use this ability in both resurrección and her unreleased state. (Translation of their name is loosely Feather Blades)

Resurrección
Release command - 'Darkness shrouds the moon'
Once released, Shizu takes on an appearance reminiscent to that of a black dragon with bright blue markings and a white mask made of bone; Link & Link
In this form, Shizu gains added agility and speed, along with the raw power of the dragon-like appearance. She also gains the ability to fire blue pulses of energy that are more powerful than a cero, and as a final ability, she can split her large body into multiple tiny feather blades, like blue versions of her Hanenoken.

Weapon Abilities(For each level); I pretty much already detailed this in the other sections so i'll leave it empty.

Extra Skills:
-Cero ~ A powerful burst of energy, hers is bright blue in colour
-Bala ~ Faster but weaker than a Cero. A burst of energy, bright blue in colour, can be used in quick succession.
-Sonído ~ High speed movement technique. Allows Shizu to move short distances at extremely high speeds. She is especially skilled at using this.
-Healing/Regeneration ~ Though it still happens slowly, Shizu recovers quite a bit faster than most. How long it takes depends entirely on the extent of the damage, though she cannot regenerate vital organs if they are damaged.
Shizu also much prefers to observe rather than fight or become unnecessarily involved in something and so it is very rare that she doesn't notice something. She is also very intelligent and quick witted, being quite formidable in a fight despite her small size.

Appearance: Short, dark brown hair that comes to just above her shoulders; with an uneven fringe slightly swept to the left side. Her eyes are a pale amber colour, which is what she is named for. (Akiko meaning autumn child)

Squad: 13th Division
Rank: Captain

History: Akiko has no memory of her human life, however her previous life has had a profound influence on the personality of her in her current life. When Akiko was about eight years old, her parents were both murdered. Akiko herself was taken into witness protection for the next few years, until the murderers tracked her down, knowing that she would be able to identify them given the chance. At the age of eleven, Akiko decided that the only course of action for herself was to disappear entirely. If even the police didn't know about her, then no one could track her. Over the next few years, Akiko became so used to lying about herself, that she had all but forgotten her true identity, resorting to thievery and fraud to get by.
Akiko was eventually killed by the same group that murdered her parents; a chance encounter more than five years later landed her with a gunshot to the head.
Upon moving onto Soul Society and nameless, she wandered the part of Rukongai she had been sent to, doing what came naturally to her and stealing money and food to get by. She continued doing this until an older woman caught her stealing one day. Instead of scolding her for stealing, the woman offered to provide for her so that she wouldn't have to steal anymore. Astounded by the woman's act of kindness, she accepted, the woman adopting her into her home. When she asked her name, she couldn't answer, and so the woman named her Akiko, for her amber eyes, and Asakawa, for the shallow river that ran near her new home.
A few years later, the woman(whom she had come to refer to as her grandma), confident that she had changed her ward for the better suggested that Akiko become a shinigami. The fact that she needed to eat was a clear indication that she had a spiritual power with the ability to be harnessed for good, and the woman wished Akiko to get the most out of her afterlife.
Akiko agreed and shortly after was enrolled at the shinigami academy, doing her best to make her grandmother proud. She has since graduated and has risen through the ranks Gotei 13.
Other: Despite the changes in her, Akiko still lies for her own amusement and is quite proficient at pickpocketing. Though she tends to avoid the latter, those who aren't close to her or in her division are wary of her silver tongue.

Zanpakuto
Name: Nichibotsu Chō [Sunset Butterfly]
Sword's Appearance: The hilt wrapping and sheath are sky blue, with the tsuba being round with symmetrical line patterns.
Spirit's Appearance: A female with pale orange hair, golden eyes and a black, butterfly hair clip. This spirit is a pathological liar with a fiery personality. She wears an yellow-orange kimono, patterned with yellow and red autumn leaves and black butterflies.

Shikai Phrase: Upon day's end, the sky is set ablaze
Shikai Appearance: In a short burst of fire, the sword's hilt swapping becomes a golden orange. The blade itself becomes all hues of orange, starting lighter at the hilt and progressively getting darker, fading into a red at the tip, with that same red going along the edges of the blade until about halfway up. The tsuba remains circular, but most of it is now hollow, the parts that remain forming a group of butterflies on the guard. At the sword's release, one butterfly is released from it. It's first pair of wings is orange in colour, fading in from white at the point they join the insect's body, to black near the wingtips. Orange spots dot the black area near the wingtips. The butterfly's second pair of wings are both jet black, save for a set of orange dots running along the tips. The butterflies produced by the zanpakuto act as sort of 'seals' for the fire that the zanpakuto produces. Each one is a burst of fire waiting to be ignited.
Shikai Abilities:
Chō Iryūjon - The Butterfly's Illusion
- The butterfly released from the zanpakuto's shikai acts as a medium for this sword's illusion based abilities. One glance of the butterfly enables the wielder to manipulate the observer's five senses, the drawback being that one must first see the butterfly before the illusions will work. The more complex the illusion, the more butterflies are formed to support that illusion.

Hi o Hibana - Spark the Fire
- The butterflies produced serve another task however. They are the sealed embodiment of the flames that this zanpakuto can produce. When the wielder wishes, they may set any one of these butterflies alight in flickering orange and red flames. These intriguing flames can be controlled by the wielder's thoughts and hand movements and, of course, the more butterflies there are, the more powerful these flames can become. However, not before weaving an illusion, can the wielder use their main, fiery power.
The fire produced by the butterflies also strengthens the illusions, the flickering of the flames generating a clearer illusion with less effort than their sealed form.

Bankai Name: Yūhi Hanabi Hyōji [Sunset Pyrotechnic Display]
Bankai Appearace: The sword's appearance remains the same as shikai except the sword takes on less orange and more red, the red beginning to lead into black. In a burst of flames, a large horde of the orange and black 'sunset' butterflies are produced when the bankai is activated. They swarm the immediate area.
Bankai Abilities:
Ken Bāningu - Burning Sword
- The sword burns with an invisible fire, causing severe burns whenever it cuts.

Jijitsu ka Fikushon - Fact or Fiction
- In bankai, the illusions created by the zanpakuto become more real depending on how much the victim believes them, thus it takes a silver tongue to master the trick to this zanpakuto, one of it's biggest weaknesses being the truth.

Chō Rensa - Butterfly Chain
- The butterflies that were released/created (this can be used in shikai, but with more effort on the wielder's part) scatter across the immediate area. Each one can be used to sense the immediate area around it, giving the wielder a network of extra 'eyes' to sense the opponent's movements. The more butterflies that can sense an opponent, the more the wielder is able to predict their movements and dodge their attacks, the butterflies picking up even the slightest movement. Thus, if used correctly, this skill can completely turn the tide of a battle. If the butterflies are concentrated around a speaker or group of speakers, it can also be used to transmit sound (A single butterfly cannot transmit sound).

Tsuraneru [name] - Link/Join [name of whom is joining]
- Any outside shinigami can be brought into the 'chain' and be able to sense through the butterflies with the use of the command Tsuraneru and naming who the wielder wishes to join the 'chain'.

Hanabi Kaizen - Pyrotechnic Improvement
- Each 'sunset' butterfly may now be detonated with a simple command. The wielder must focus on which butterflies they wish to have detonated when they speak the phrase, as saying it without such concentration will cause all of them to detonate in multiple, vastly large fiery explosions.

Tenka - Ignition
- The detonation command for Hanabi Kaizen.

Other Skills/Abilities:
Being a captain, Akiko is skilled in using various Kido, including some of the more powerful ones. She is also skilled at Shunpo and Hoho generally and will use hand-to-hand combat (or Hakuda) when she needs to. She is also an intelligent person, one of the qualities that landed her a captain's position.

Appearance: Medium size in height with short brown hair with emerald green eyes...I don't really know how else to describe him |D
History:
Became friends with a boy named Rakeshisu at a high school. Because of his lazy nature, he tended to skip school and slack on projects. Rakeshisu slowly began to join him on his ditching. After dropping out of school entirely he and Rake jumped from house to house searching for a place to spend the night at their friend's house. When they finally stopped accepting the two slackers, Rake and Tora had no place left to go. Rake began to ramble about getting a job and being responsible and such, Tora hated to admit it, so instead of fighting with his friend he simply went for a walk. During that walk, he had been killed by a hollow. His spirit managed to escape the hollow though, and was chased by it up until a shinigami finally arrived to exterminate it. He was surprised to see though, that the hollow had stopped a car in front of a high speed train that killed the driver, which was Rakeshisu. He was sent into Soul Society first, and then Rake. He soon found that the two had ended up in the same district together, and felt guilty about both ruining his friend's life and ending it unwillingly and inadvertedly. So he challenged his friend to be a Shinigami in the academy. There he went through the training process, and managed to achieve bankai and became captain.

Tsuba: The shape is considered the symbol of choas, it is made of eight arrows that are all connected to and point away from a sphere which has the blade protrude from the middle. Looks like this:

Shikai Phrase: Wreck Havoc
Shikai Appearance: A roar is emitted from the sword as a strange black sphere surrounds Toraburu, the sphere will release electric energy in a pulse, not a damaging one, before the sphere itself erupts into a all-around pulse that will reveal Tora with his new weapon, a long scythe with a decoration towards the blade that looks like the head of his spirit.
Shikai Abilities:

Yugameru - Distort - Distorts Tora's figure into either a taller, shorter, fatter, or even a strange loop-de-loop shape to have the target have a more difficult time hitting him.

Todoroki - Roar - Causes a loud roar to emit from the blade even louder than from when the shikai began. Induces Fear into the enemy and can potentially cause a Heart Attack....

Kirikaeru - Switch - When the blade touches an enemy, the trap is set. He will "Connect" with another enemy and force the original target to think that their ally is the enemy. Works for a short amount of time only and can work on allies.

Shōki no tettai - Sanity Withdrawl - User withdraws from reality and begins attacking like crazy, all wounds are ignored and user's "insane" personality usually scares the shiz out of the targets....lasts a long time and can be deadly to the user once attack is finished because of the whole Injury Ignore thing

Bankai: Konton
Bankai Appearance: Scythe becomes double bladed and extends in its length. Color changes to a dark.r red appearance while using its ability/
Bankai Abilities:

Kaosudimenshon - Chaotic Dimension - Creates a dimension (Similar to Kaname Tosen) that drains those within the area their sanity, even the user, though allies aren't effected. Slowly, the target and the user begin to hallucinate, what they hallucinate is entirely dependent on the person and how they act is also dependent on the user(like determining whether they're just insane or crazy bat shit insane like Mayuri.)

Her hollow mask covers the right side of her head and jaw.
History: All Ren's life she has been in many different foster homes. Her mom died when she was born and her father had died in a house fire when she was three years luckily she had survived but she was alone. It seemed that in every foster home she had been in there was always death. She would see the monsters (hollows) that killed the kids that she was around. They are giant creatures with white masks and they have a hole in their chests. In the end she always ended with the blame. “This is your fault!”; “There is nothing there.” She told all of them of what she saw but they didn’t believe her. Since then she was on her own. On her way home from school she was eaten by a hollow. She became aware of what the hollow was doing. Ren wanted the hollow to stop killing. Her mind over came the hollow's. (More to be reveild soon.)

Weapon Abilities(For each level, Translation if Applicable);Aura- A unique ability she had as a human and now as a hollow. She can sense when she is trying to find someone or something. She can also create aura stones. To her if she gives a stone to someone it is a sign of frienship. Also she can tell if something is wrong but she can't tell what or when it will happen.

Aura Shard- A formation of many aura stones that Ren shoots at her opponents. The usage is seems endless. It depends on how much spiritual pressure she uses.

Aura Sense- Even when one has lowered their spiritual pressure she can still find them.

Aura Clone- Create a Clone of herself made of Aura.

Aura wings - Creates wings out of aura to fly and move at amazing speeds. They can also be used to defend to some extent.
Extra Skills(Kido, Strength, Speed, Tactical mind, etc.):
Cero- fireing a blast of energy that is icy blue in color.

Bala-A weaker but faster form of a Cero, it is also icy blue.

History:Ayame grew up alone as a child in the Eastern District 42. Looking out only for herself, when all she wanted was a family. However she could never find the right one. After several years of being chased away by shop keepers, and getting attacked by thugs, she never once backed down. She learned to fight hand to hand through trial and error.

When she got to the age of when she looked 20 she was attacked by a Hollow. Being weak from hardly any sleep she couldn't out run the creature. Tripping over a tree root she fell to the ground. The hollow was right on top of her; thinking it was the end she closed her eyes and awaited for death.(again) But nothing came. Slowly opening her eyes she saw a woman in a Black kimono. The woman took out her sword and ran towards the hollow, killing it in the prossess.

Before Ayame could thank her, the woman took off. That was when Ayame found what she wanted to do with herself. To help others when they couldn't help themselves. It wasn't after a few days later that she found out that the people in the black robes were called Shinigami. And so she decided to go to the Acadamy for Shinigami.
