Unlikely comrades that do not know that fact.

Sorren was stretching his legs, Most of the teams were out on jobs today, so he didn't have anyone to ask to help him out with a job. He pondered if he should go training, he looked up at the sky and a raindrop fell in his eye.

"OW!" shaking it off the overcast sky was giving way to light driziling, good conditions for training a fire type.

With that thought in his mind he spotted Violet out of the corner of his eye, he ran over to her

"Hey Violet, do you have any ope- oh sorry, Thought you were someone else" Sorren said once he got a better look at the Oshawott. He was kinda embarrassed, but kept eye contact, trying to be polite.

Well, that was helpful. Better remember to thank that Sentret again for letting me know I could come around here... An Oshawott was walking away from the Guild, having been able to get in as general public and take a look at the boards. Ava smirked, having observed the pokemon there and finding out about several tidbits of helpful information. Being unknown had its perks, she decided, although it was only a matter of time before she ended up on the board somehow.
A voice interrupted her from her thoughts as she turned, blinking with dull surprise as a torchic ran over to her, obviously mistaking Ava for another Oshawott. She smirked, adjusting her scarf.
"It's alright. I suppose it is rather easy to mistake two Oshawotts for one another." Avaria kept eye contact as well, eyeing the Torchic with curiosity as she did with most pokemon she met, checking to see what she could figure out about him just by looking.
"Well, at least I hope you mistook me for another Oshawott. I don't look much like any other kind of pokemon." She continued.

"Yeah, the master of the dojo is a female Oshawott. I was thinking I might get some training done. All the teams seem to be off on Jobs today, And I would rather go out on a job with a partner." Sorren said, watching as pokemon picked up their pace to get out of the impending rain.

"Oh, How rude of me. My name is Sorren of Team Titans. Sorry for stopping you up, miss." Sorren said introducing himself.

The streets were starting to clear, which was a relief to Sorren. He didn't much care for crowds among a long list of other things.

"Oh, that's not a problem at all." She grins, nodding her head as she thought. There's supposed to be some ruins behind those waterfalls in Shadowhue from what I heard. I'd rather not go alone, maybe if I can get him to come with me. Shouldn't be too hard, seems to be looking for a job, wants to train, wants to go with a partner.
"I'm Avaria, just thought I'd check the guild out. I think I prefer exploring these parts unaffiliated, though." The Oshawott responds, looking up at the sky as it looked to be starting to rain. Everyone always seemed to want to get out of it, and Ava didn't understand why. Rain wasn't a bad thing, and to her it felt pretty good.
"You said you were looking to get some training done, right? Ever heard of Monochrome Ruins?" She asked the Torchic, deciding to get to the point.

A Noibat wandered out of the guild, a look of concern on her face; what had she gotten herself into? She'd only been trying to help someone realise their dream of being an explorer, but had ended up agreeing to join him on his explorations.. though not as a fully fledged member of the Poochyena's team. She had avoided that much.
What was the problem with this at all, one might ask. Maybe for someone other than Nereza, making a new 'friend' and being given the opportunity to make something of your life with that new friend alongside you would be an amazing thing, but Nereza wasn't the type to trust anyone easily, no matter how innocent or kind they looked on the outside. Everyone has their flaws, their weaknesses, their vices. Everyone was unpredictable and just as easily able to betray you in a heartbeat. When someone who you thought was family leaves you to die, what must you think of the rest of the world?

With Rusty settled in his new Guild room, Nereza had opted to go for a walk. The oncoming rain would have cleared the town of most of the bustling natives which would make it the perfect time to get herself familiar with the area and the perfect time to be with her thoughts. The light rain was almost soothing on her nerves as she wandered through the quickly emptying streets.

Sorren stopped and thought for a second. He remembered monochrome falls, and he did see a cave behind it when he was there...

"Oh yeah, I've heard about that! Some pokemon were talking about it in the mess hall. were yo-you- OH, Please step back!" Sorren almost yelled, before sneezing

A brilliant flash of sparks and fire came out of his nose before he could turn away. Sorren thought he might be catching a cold, but shoved that thought away, stepping towards Avaria in concern. Sorren sure hoped he didn't hit her.

Ava watched as Sorren seemed to think about it, pleased that she was almost certain to have found somebody willing to go along with her, and paused, frowning as he asked her to step back. The Oshawott did so, taking a few back and reached for her shell, flicking it upwards. The ember hit the scalchop's surface, dispersing quickly as she lowered her shell once more, placing it on her front.
"And what was that about?" She questioned, watching Sorren carefully and wondering why he had done that, wondering if it was a reflex or if he actually knew something about her. Either way, she figured it wouldn't be too suspicious of her to be somewhat cautious.

Nereza's wanderings were disturbed by a bright fiery light a short distance away. The lavender bat turned to see an Oshawott using it's scalchop to deflect a blast of fire coming from a Torchic nearby. Concerned she hop-flapped over, becoming concerned with how cautiously the Oshawott held herself. Surely they weren't going to break out into a fight right here in the middle of a peaceful town? Even if it was emptier than usual due to the beginning of the rain.
"W-what are you doing!?" she called out as she got closer. As much as she'd rather not engage these pokemon in conversation, she'd rather stop a fight breaking out than leave them to it and some innocent pokemon's getting injured, or their stalls destroyed.

Sorren, even realived to see Avaria ok, was now being acused from two sides. A noivern had come up to them demanding to know what they were doing and Sorren was feeling pressured.

"I- I'm Sorry, When i snease I sometimes use ember, I've been trying to stop. Please don't be mad!" Sorren said with a wimper. He was shivering a bit. Sorren took a couple of steps back, slipped on wet pavement and fell down backward.

"GAH!"

'Great, now i either look like a criminal or a loser.' Sorren thought, deflating.

The Oshawott paused for a moment, looking up at the Noibat that had flown over. She thought about what Sorren had said, shrugging. Understandable. A bit of a reflex action, and besides, he did warn me about it. No hostility there.
"Well, at least you warned me. Maybe you should try and focus on not using ember when you sneeze, it is somewhat inconvenient. Don't worry though, I'm not holding it against you." Ava looked back up at the Noibat, somewhat confused at her appearance.
"And who are you? While we're finishing up introductions." She asked casually, relaxing a bit more and losing the tension she had before.

Mere moments after she had decided to call out to stop the 'fighting' said fighting had been proven otherwise. The flames had merely been an unwanted side effect of the Torchic's sneezing. The Oshawott's body language had immediately changed at the explanation, further proving Nereza's wrong assumption.
"Eep, I'm sorry. I thought you were about to start fighting," she replied quietly, offering a wing to Sorren to help him up rather than leaving him lying on the ground, "I see that I assumed wrong and I'm sorry," she apologised.

sorren got up, not taking the help from the noibat do to his lack of arms.

"No It's my fault, I should really stop doing that, but It's harder then it looks. Sorry Avaria." Sorren said.

The Noibat was odd, She had a loo in her eyes, the only other place sorren had seen that look was himself. It didn't take to much reasoning to figure out that she was nervous. but there was something a bit more to it, sorren couldn't put his... well he just couldn't figure out what.

"Right well Are you wanting to go exploring Monochrome ruins? Is that what you were getting at?" Sorren said, continuing there conversation from where they left off. He noticed the Noibat didn't introduce herself, but he let it be.

Avaria frowned somewhat, making note that her question to the Noibat hadn't been answered. Was she avoiding it on purpose, or maybe did she just didn't hear her? She seems a bit nervous, generally unsure, maybe uncomfortable with us? Whatever the reason was, the Oshawott made sure to commit the avoidance to memory.
"Yes, actually, that was what I was getting at. I'm sure there's plenty to find there, and it could turn out to be quite the adventure." She responded to Sorren, turning to the Noibat next.
"You can come with us if you want, now that you've stopped by." Ava said to her, wondering if the pokemon would join the two in their travels. She figured that the phrase 'the more, the merrier' was in effect here.

The Noibat gently and consistently reorganised the blue and white striped scarf she wore around her neck as she listened to the two speak. It felt like she was trapped all of a sudden, unwilling to say anything more, but unwilling to just up and leave lest she seem unnecessarily rude. These two apparently planned to go exploring a place called Monochrome Ruins and the mere mention of exploring brought thoughts of her other predicament flooding back into her mind.

Really, what had she been thinking? She knew absolutely nothing about exploring or guilds. The closest she'd ever been to doing something of the sort was moving from place to place so that she hadn't the time to settle down somewhere and get overly comfortable.. but that couldn't really be classed as exploring. Nereza's thoughts were abruptly disturbed by a few words from the Oshawott.
"You can come with us if you want, now that you've stopped by," she had said.
Nereza blinked, her four black claws once again nervously tugging at her scarf. Going with these more experienced pokemon might help her learn a thing or to, but the obvious con of that idea was that she'd be going to an unknown place with two strangers she'd just met. Hell she didn't even know their names.
No, wait. That was a lie. She knew the Oshawott's name; the Torchic had called her Avaria a short while ago. From what she could tell though, the Torchic was part of the town's guild, the bag he wore being very similar if not identical to the one Rusty had been given. Through all these thoughts, she still hadn't decided what she was going to say and so remained silent, her gaze shifting from the Torchic to the Oshawott and back again.

"Hmm, do you mind if i take a job? There is this one mission that has been collecting dust, We have to go through Shadowhue Forrest anyway." Sorren asked, hoping to stretch his legs and actually get his job done.

The oshawott seemed Friendly enough, and there was a look in her eyes, Sorren couldn't quite place it... but it made him wary, but at the same time he felt like She meant no harm. Sorren was probobly just worked up.

Sorren turned to the noibat, she was fussing with her scarf, seeming even more nervous then before. Sorren knew how she fealt.

"Hey, you don't have to do anything you don't want to, It was nice of you trying to break up what looked like a fight, but you don't have to stick around. On the other... Well You could also come with us Like she said," Sorren said, motioning to Avaria with his head. "It wouldn't hurt us, after all more monpower is always good in a dungeon."
