He was in his usual meditation pose, but his eyes weren't closed, and his mind was anything but at peace. It just occurred to him how long he'd been out here, away from the others. How long had it been? Days? Weeks? He'd lost himself in his own thoughts, only slightly coming to every now and then to pick some berries, eat, and then linger back to his spot. But it was time. Time to get back, to a place with someone else. He'd spent long enough out there.
