| First topic message reminder :Mordred took a few cautious steps to the Mountain. He'd been here before, he knew it. In fact, how could he not know it? His right eye was now hidden under an eyepatch thanks to the events that had unfolded right nearby this mound of earth. He could still feel it seething with pain, erupting from his destroyed eye and the cuts near it. He cursed under his breath, already beginning to regret going on a mission so early. He hadn't even fully recovered yet, but still pursued. Prolonged rest helped in recovery, sure, but it didn't help in strength. If he stayed in bed until he healed, it would be no surprise that he'd require a large amount of training to regain his fighting power. He took out a sheet of paper, examining the mission he had assigned himself to.
[ MISSION THREAD] Out of nowhere this crazed Ralts has started attacking me! He's a disgrace to my very species! You have to do something! Teach him a lesson! » Client: Kirlia » Target: Ralts » Place: Blackmist Mountain » Restrictions: None » Difficulty: F » Reward: 150 Poké » Exploration Points: 10

A face off with a Ralts. Typing wouldn't be in his favor, especially since the Ralts would already know psychic moves. How could it tick off a Kirlia if it didn't? Either way, in this situation, his only saving grace would be his move Faint Attack. Sad to say, he hadn't even mastered it yet. From past training sessions, he'd learned that the attack would break about half way, leaving him vulnerable but luckily still with speed. He had to hone it today, or it would be the last thing he'll ever practice. Stuffing the paper back into his bag, he began making his way towards the Mountain. He wanted this done quick. Although the Guildmaster was much too soft, he knew he wasn't doing a very good job as an explorer with the lack of missions he had completed. It was either he got a completed mission today, or he'd be lying in his deathbed. Or simply dead on this Arceus-forsaken mountain.

| Mirage was able to leap back in time so the attack had not hit her, which was a good thing since her concentration would have broke and the illusion would have dropped. She still had no clue on what she was, so she simply stayed silent and put on a surprised to the point of paralysis front. She sat down and stared with wide eyes, as if startled and scared. She liked messing with the scraggy though, he had funny reactions. The zorua wondered if he knew though, or if it had ever come across his mind that the "baby" could have just flown back to its nest since its wings could have been fit enough to fly. Mirage, having no plan whatsoever, simply acted on the fly as she put on a surprised look. An idea came to her though, what if she could convince the scraggy he was crazy? What if she could convince him that she whatever she was now, and there never was an areodactyl? | |

| The scraggy found himself digging deeper and deeper into the situation, desperate to figure out what in the world had happened to the Aerodactyl offspring while he wasn't looking. The change was far too abrupt, and he was sure that there were no hallucinations whatsoever that had afflicted him. The only way he could've been hallucinating is either from sheer paranoia and stress, poisonous plants or spores of nearby wild pokemon, or having accidentally consumed something earlier that had made his mind weary. He took a second to look around, not moving from his fighting stance. No clear footprints or feathers to indicate the direction of the missing Aerodactyl. The scent of the baby was still in the air, but now mixed with the Poochyena's. Odd enough, the reptile seemed to be having some trouble deciphering the two from each other, as if they were sharing a common bit of their smell. Two possibilities: One, his sense of smell was getting messed up, or two, the Poochyena had come in contact with the Aerodactyl in some way. With the lack of evidence such as feathers or blood around, the former had a higher probability.
He narrowed his eyes at the unmoving canine, not looking away as he brought a hand to his other forearm and pinched himself. A fraction of flinch shot through, just barely noticeable. Alright, definitely not dreaming or hallucinating. This was definitely a puzzling situation. Scrutinizing the canine further, the scraggy could deduce that it was around of a young age. Not big enough to be on the verge of turning into a Mightyena, still too young but most likely at the appropriate age of being trained with a pack. Not a single drop of blood or feather on its dark coat. Its eyes seemed terrified and very familiar. Was it possible for young poochyena to rip out the eyes of birds and use them as their own? He had the urge to hit his head on a rock at the thought. That was just sick. Maybe he was losing his mind after all.
"Who in Arceus' name are you?" He asked, voice cautious and slightly threatening. He had to make sure this young one wasn't up to anything. While he did have a small soft spot for younglings, his previous encounters with Mightyena and Poochyena packs had made him very distrustful towards the species. They were painfully loyal to their packs, and painfully brutal towards enemies. He wasn't sure of the mentality of Poochyena, but Mightyena were clever enough to devise ambushes and pack strategies to bring in hoards of prey to last them winter. A deceiving Poochyena wouldn't be very unexpected.

| The zorua adjusted her voice to sound slightly different from her own and her previous act, "What are you talking 'bout? I'm Stan, you asked me to come along with yeh' on some sort of task doohikie?" she made herself appear surprised and confused. She wouldn't be surprised if the scraggy had not actually bought it, but it would be hilarious if he did. If he had discovered that she was truly a zorua, she could just tell him it was just a practical joke and maybe dish out some kind of sob story that could make him pity her and let her stick around. She made sure to plan out each move carefully here on, she quickly processed any possibilities that could occur in the time of this moment and made plans for them. However, because of her speeding thoughts, they were not very good plans... | |
